Kay9214 It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to tie the team based holiday events into zOMG, or maybe do something competitive with clans.
That might give a boost, but still, it would need a lot of effort to the side of the admins and programmers.

Kay9214 floralsnow Kay9214 floralsnow I agree. There are still a lot of things that needs to be done with zOMG.Well, to be fair. It IS the zOMG Beta, meaning technically, it's not even a full complete game. But that said, it does go rather slow. Some people are fans of level grinding games. You and I are simply not among them, I suppose. There's not a lot of story that I've seen out there, mostly just repetitive 'dungeons' or a short story that ends with 'kill this many X enemies', 'kill this many X enemies again', in perpetuity. It's lacking a solid story, or effective level of interactivity. They simply haven't put in the effort. They're busy with other things. Like for some inconceivable reason I had bought a Buccaneer Boardwalk ticket, and here, years later, it's still empty and useless. :o Only just now realized who I was quoting. Hi there floral. Hi Kay! Yeah, there is not much interaction in there and the story is kinda nothing. Quests are composed of defeating a certain number of monsters in order to get few orbs that are necessary for raising your level. How I wish they 'll do something about that soon... sad It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to tie the team based holiday events into zOMG, or maybe do something competitive with clans. There were Easter, Halloween, and Christmas events in zOMG, although those may not be available now.

jellykans If you want help with quests, Nani's on hiatus but her thread is excellent. Heartfire has two available zOMG helpers, John Columbo in early AM and AM's, US time, and TigerLilyChick in afternoons and evenings, US time. And we have others who can help. They can't change the game, though. If you want to work with them, send a friend request and mention Heartfire and HUB.
Thank you very much for the info! ^_^ I'll try to ask for their help when I'm out hanging at zOMG

Kay9214 Haha, it's the the zOMG that makes the crew fun, it's all the crazy that usually happens with them. xD There are eight slots now, I could see them conceivably going to ten, although it doesn't look likely. Yeah but you still get people who are rude... Normally though people are great fun to crew with.

I know there were some events (but don't know much about them, so you probably know more than I) but I haven't heard of any of the team like events they normally do outside of zOMG. Like Vampires Vs. Dark Elves and whathaveyou. Like, Team A has X points because they've killed so many Ys and collected this amount of Zs. Or, if they were careful with it, some sort of direct combat event, maybe counting kills, or territory held or something. As far as I know, they've only tossed in some new interesting enemies for zOMG events and said 'Go kill it'.

We have a Dev Meat on Fridays at 5pm Pacific time, notices appear at end of zOMGaians Unite! thread on Fridays around mid-day, to give location and theme. We always meet on Bladed Vase server. Mavdoc hosts, and sometimes other devs come. Last Friday, Sisky came. (Mavdoc designed most of the backgrounds before DMS, he was laid off before DMS.)

I wish Sisky had been made Admin Lead sooner. We still hold weekly Dev Meats (see further up this page for link to zOMGaians Unite thread for details).

I wonder if they'll ever open up the roads to Gambino or Aekea in the future? That would be nice if we could have other access to other towns too. And who knows, probably, new places and enemies too!

I wonder if they'll ever open up the roads to Gambino or Aekea in the future? That would be nice if we could have other access to other towns too. And who knows, probably, new places and enemies too! There were humongous plans for multiple worlds, but the game wasn't designed to be profitable, they just hoped it would come, and the profits from zOMG were never properly credited, only those items with the zOMG label. So, unless there is a major shift in corporate thinking, there is no plan for further development. However, some of us are diehards, who hope Gaia will return to a site-wide theme supported by Booty Grab and zOMG. Those were the major streams of interest during Gaia's period of highest usership. Come to a Dev Meat at 5 pm Pacific time on Fridays on Bladed Vase - the zOMGaians thread has details each Friday on theme and location (link is up this page in an earlier post I made, or previous page if we just started a new one). Mavdoc holds the Meat (not misspelled, it's a pun referring to the meat ring), and he designed most of the backgrounds in zOMG before DMS. We often have other developers there, and none works for Gaia any longer. The person who does the glitches repair is on contract, not a direct Gaia employee. Hmm - I think Swarf is still at Gaia. There are discussions about how to get zOMG dev back.
