"I lose things all the ******** time," he said, gently tossing a small white lighter in Sawyer's direction. He took his cig from the ash tray and took a smoke, then chased it down with some of the beer. "No idea what the name is, it's just what they call me." He had lost his memories from his very brief time across the enemy lines as an Order Senshi when the details about having a planet he was named after were first given. As far as Dustin knew, Typhon was just a codename, no different than any other. If it was supposed to have meaning, he'd have to look it up. Which sounded like effort, so ******** that noise. "You throw parties here?" he asked, emphasizing 'here' as if it were a prison cell.

"Sometimes," he said, handing the lighter back across as he exhaled, leaning back until he was nearly lying down. Slouch level: master. He absently chewed at a ragged fingernail. "Usually have to get the neighbors in on it. But there's, you know. The lot. Indoor/outdoor type thing. I like you better than him," he added suddenly, confidentially, as if telling a great secret. "I was afraid this was all duty and honor bullshit. Did he really say I was ******** adorable?"

"Ugh, yeah, they try to push that crap on us but that s**t all seems dull to me," Dustin shrugged. There was no denying the military aspect of the Negaverse, especially within Special Operations, but Dustin didn't care too much about the beliefs of the Negaverse or the values they tried to instill as much as he cared about how fun the orders seemed. It meant he got in trouble sometimes, but he liked the trouble. He embraced it. "It's fun stuff though, fun group of people." Mostly. Some were terrifyingly psychotic, and other were terrifyingly dull. He put the cigarettes to his lips, inhaled, and released the smoke once more out to the ceiling. "So what else do you do for fun?" he questioned as he leaned back and kicked out his feet to put them on ---- nothing. His heels just fell back to the floor. No coffee table. Right.

He snorted, lacing his fingers together over his stomach in a self-conscious attempt to stop chewing his nails. "Destroying public property, assorted misdemeanors, and the breaking of hearts," he deadpanned around his cigarette. "You should join me some time. We can hold up a bank. I've been wanting to graduate to felonies."

Destroying public property? Misdemeanors? Heart breaking? Dustin couldn't help but grin. Sawyer sounded like fun - if he was telling the truth - but either way he had a sense of humor that the blue-haired boy could appreciate. "Sounds like good fun, man. You'll have to send me an invite," he laughed. His mind was already picturing how easy it may be to rob a bank in their powered disguises as he took another drag of his cigarette. "If there's a good thing about losing my whole identity, its that I have no record...of anything, I guess, huh. So nothing to lose, right?"

Sawyer knew... something of that. Not quite on the scale that Dustin had, of course, but enough that a flicker of sympathy manifested behind his sudden smile.
He'd spent the past several days in a funk, gloomier than he was accustomed to and more alone than he'd been in a long time, and although he was still tempering his conversation with snark and blank stares, his ability to sustain the attitude was weakening. He was by nature predisposed to laughter and wide-eyed idealism, and the mere presence of someone who knew his situation and seemed to be... well, well-adjusted isn't exactly the word, but happy...
It helped. It somewhat effaced the dim idea he'd had of boot camps and the more frightening things they portended.
"I'll give you a call when I've selected a target and arranged a heist," he said cheerfully. "Some real Mission:Impossible stuff. There will be diagrams and synchronized watches. Do people do that any more? Synchronize watches I mean, not hold up banks. Clearly people hold up banks. Give me your number," he added, without segue, as he leaned over to retrieve his phone. "When I put mine in Rain Man's phone--Ever's, sorry--I set about six alarms at one hour intervals starting at 3 AM."
Oh boy. With the buoyed mood the chatter was ramping back up.

"Sure, but if you set a 3AM alarm in my phone then I'm just going to come over, and then you're going to have to keep me entertained to make it all worth it," Dustin teased as he passed over his cell. He went for another smoke and dropped ash into the tray, wondering if he should regret passing the boy over his phone.

Apparently there was no fun in it if the victim was prepared. Sawyer didn't keep the phone longer than it took to put his own number in it before tossing it back. If Dustin checked, he'd see the only new name in his contact list was Sexy Beast. "So what, do I call Rain Man and tell him you did a good job? Do you get a pat on the head if I make it sound like you singlehandedly turned me around? Not that you did. I'm still not saluting anyone." But there was no malice in it now. Dustin was too... normal.

"Thanks," he said as he took back his phone. He gave a quick scan through the contacts list to find the new name - Sexy Beast. He cocked a brow at that with a soft chuckle. Well, it's good to know the boy's got an ego, and with a name like that he shouldn't surprised with his own phone going off at 3AM with a drunk booty call from the blue-haired teen. "You do whatever you want, I guess," Dustin shrugged. "That's what I do, at least." He took another swig of his beer, leaving the bottle half-full - half-empty? - and placed it back down, leaving his cigarette in the ashtray. "Well I'll get outta your hair, but I'll keep in touch man. See you around?"
