Eira seemed to perk up that much more hearing his opinion on the raoti skins and she gave a nod of her head, "They really are wonderful. Father get some of the best ones for us." She said in a happy manner, then quickly added to clarify, "Our father is a hunter, you see. I would wager the best one in our village but I am sure there are others in the village who might argue that point." She didn't care though, she felt that her father was the best hunter ever and that was what mattered most! Not only to Eira herself but also to Makani and even Herluin, the man may not be the sort to let compliments get the better of him but it was hard to ignore when his children were praising him.

"I agree! Papa is the best! He's even hunted Mammu and I hear that they are giant!" Makani added, lifting his hands up as far up and as he could, then held them out to the sides, as though to indicate exactly how huge a Mammu was.

When he was told that it was his choice to pick a word he set to thinking on it. His way of 'seeing' the world was a lot different then that of other people, as such his choice of words would be as well, "I will pick... the word... 'scary'." He decided, knowing that everyone in the world found different sorts of things to be scary! He knew that there were many different things in the world that could be scary and he knew that everyone thought of different things as scary too. He clapped his hands then, "Yes, I pick scary." He told them, giving a nod of his head.

Eira starred down at him a moment then tilted her head before saying, "Probably the most scary thing ever would be..." She paused, thought it over, then decided against her answer. No, no reason to even let Makani think about what scared her most or he might get worried. She quickly changed the answer to, "Other girls stealing my favorite boys from me." She said with a bit of a giggle. It was an answer that had Makani sticking his tongue out at her before he giggled over it too, finding that 'scary' thing as more funny to him though he knew it was something that would annoy his sister to no end. She didn't like to share!

"Ahh... hehehe, that would be amusing. I can only imagine what my father would think about if I were to try to set him up on a hunting expedition with a stranger. Still, it might be an idea worth looking into." She doubted such a set up would please the man... but at the same time if they were both hunters at least they would have something to chat about and her father was a good man who could use for friends. While she wasn't sure how it might go she might think on such a thing for the future, mostly planning it when her father wasn't looking thought else he catch wind.

As Natsu spoke about the Mammu and how docile they were she gave a half shrug, "I can't say I have ever met one so I don't know what they are like. I do know that they are delicious though, especially steaks made over an open flame." While she didn't like to admit it she was a fairly good cook, she just didn't want to be teased for doing cliche 'woman's work' was all. It caused her to be a little picky about what she ate. Food was forgotten though when Natsu mention his 'friend' who was 'really important' and her lips curled into a bit of a smile, "Your friend, hmmmm?" She doubted very highly it was just a friend, not with that look on his face. As so she grinned when he said it was her turn.

"My turn, huh? My word is 'attractive' then." She said, teasing Natsu a little but she found this interesting. How many boys out there were 'that way' she wondered. Thus far she had her suspicions about Borra and now Natsu, sad because they were both cute, but she still preferred them to other women which she couldn't stand.

"Attractive...?" Makani asked, shifting in place for a moment, seeming to think on it for a while then clapped his hands, "I will say Sister is! Cause the boys in our village always act so dumb around her and always do what she tells them to do cause she is pretty." She said, smothering giggles over his answer since he could almost feel his sisters stare upon him.

Eira couldn't help but to feel a little gleeful over his reaction, the way that he set to stuttering and blushing, oh yeah, the 'friend' he'd spoken of was far from being just a friend she thought to herself. Silly thing, as though people would just leave him alone if he mentioned a 'good friend' that he was all in love with. When he finally blurted out 'blue' her eyes went a little wide, then she chuckle, "So that means you 'good friend' is from Zena then?" She asked after he chattered on about his love of going there. It made sense and while she was a little iffy about the whole idea of cross tribe love at least in this case there wouldn't be any mix bloods. While she had come to love her brother despite what he was there were those in the world who weren't as forgiving. As such she felt the need to keep her brother safe from them given his handicap.

"Devious, huh? That one is easy! The answer is women." She knew damn well that most women were like her, just scheming, as devious, looking out for those that would help them because they batted their eyelashes at them. She just knew that she would need to be more devious was all, because she didn't want any other women getting in her way. She then turned to Makani, "Do you need help?" He asked.

Makani shook his head, "Devious... umm..." No he could figure it out. So what did devious mean? Sounds kind of like something or someone that plotted a lot... which was why it made sense why Eira said women. A little smile appearing on his lips he said, "That would be Sister too!" He said, giggling up a storm as he ducked behind Rae, as though the Raptrix pup would be able to hide him completely. Eira stuck her tongue out at him, making a raspberry sound with it, so that he knew exactly what she was doing even without being able to see it. That just seemed to cause him to laugh all that much more before saying, "Okay... then... then my word is funny!" He chirped.

"That would be you, smart as... guy..." She said, almost calling him a smart a** but knew better then to curse in front of her brother. Just in case their father came back as she did so.

Eira started to laugh when Natsu spoke of how his brother's wife was far from devious. Oh how little he knew about women... but that was alright, it didn't seem as though he had all the much interest in them now did he? As he spoke of his nephew she couldn't help but to be glad he wasn't about, not the sort that she wanted to deal with from the sounds of him. Leaning forward she rested her hands on her lap as Natsu praised Makani for being smart for his age. He was right about that, which she had to admit did impress her. At least she didn't act the fool just because he was little.

Natsu gave his answer to Makani's word, talking about his grandfather, one he called 'Mr Raoti' and instantly she pictured a Raoti in human clothing, something that caused her to give a little giggle. Giving a smile she said, "Alright, so it's my word then, huh? I think my word will be... Father!" She called out, pushing to her feet to hurry over to the burly Ice Tribesman who had just arrived back at the camp site, dragging a good sized beast along with him, "Wow! Amazing, Father!" She said, leaning over to look at it, then asked, "What is it?"

Herluin looked the beast over then said, "It's called capramel. They are similar in taste to Raoti." He explained, "It's what we are having for dinner... does your friend wish to dine with us? Or will he be heading home before it's ready?" He asked, glancing over at Natsu, then smiled as Makani came rushing to him, scooping him up with the arm that didn't have hold of the Capramel's horn, "Hello, son." He said, giving him a smile.

"Papa! Papa! We were playing a fun word game with Natsu!" He chirped, hugging the man tightly around his neck, nuzzling against his father's cheek in a sweet, affectionate manner. It was obvious he was pleased to have him back.

Herluin starred down at Natsu for a long moment as the boy chattered at him like some sort of Kinfa before he looked away from him, turning back to looking at the thing he was dragging, the capramel along to the edge of the camp site where he'd earlier dug a gole. He carefully set his son down away from it and pulled out a sharp knife, "It's been a good trip so far and the hunting is good." He said finally, motioning at the creature he'd taken down with his spear, "There will be plenty to eat and to bring to the group of Wind Tribesmen that we are here to meet with. I feel a gift is in order given that the last time I visited it was a more somber occasion." He told Natsu before he set to work on preparing the capramel.

Eira watched for a moment, not phased in the lease given it was something she'd seen since she was a youngling, before looking over at Natsu again, giving him a smile, "You should stay for dinner then, I trust Father's judgement when it comes to the beasts that he hunts so I am sure that this one will be tasty." She told Natsu, not minding him at all. It was like having a girlfriend in a way, someone to chat about boys with, but not one that she didn't like because he wasn't female. She might have to become friends with him because of this she thought to herself before she snapped her fingers to get Makani's attention, knowing he responded better to sounds then any sort of hand motions, "Come on, we should get things ready so that we can start to cook once Father has stuff done."

Makani nodded, hurrying over to Eira and Natsu, not wanting to be left behind if they were going to start preparing things. He wanted to help too! Reaching his hands out he fumbled around a bit to catch hold of Eira's hand, then smiled, "We should get the fire ready!" He chirped happily.
