"Chaos can be really scary," Persephone acknowledged. God, could they be scary. She hated feeling even the littlest blip of darkness on her radar, these days., because every time she worried that it would be more, that it would be what happened in the park all over again...
"Maybe they're staying away 'cause there's two of us?" She proposed. That seemed reasonable. Why risk taking on two? "Or because it's so nasty out tonight." She had to try her best to be light and cheery, and bury back the terror that twisted up her stomach.

"It must be because there are two of us." She certainly wouldn't want to take on two enemies at once, and all alone at that. "I was beginning to wonder why on earth I even bothered to come out here." True, she hadn't found an enemy (thank goodness), or someone that needed help, butt at least she found someone to talk to. And a nice person at that.

Persephone laughed a little. "I'm glad we bumped into each other. Made the evening worth it, don't you agree?" She said. "We'll have to do this on purpose sometime - it's always good to patrol with a friend." She had to find more patrol buddies. She couldn't harass Sisyphus every night.Blue Eyed Melloon I think we're close to wrapping up? :3

Songstress Kitsune I am so sorry I spaced on this for so long! *fail whale*
She checked the sky above the umbrella, but the stars were obscured. What wasn't obscured was the clock in the window of a store.
"It's getting really late, and I have quite the list of errands to run in the morning." she said, reluctant to leave her new friend alone in the dark. "Will you be alright if I take my leave?"

Persephone glanced over at the clock and winced. "I should be getting home, anyway, my parents might worry." They worried way too much these days, in her opinion. "Stay safe!" She said. "Tonight and every night, really."

"You too!" she called to Persephone as she started to trot back toward her apartment. Huh. Well there were no bad guys, but she made an ally. Not a bad night after all.
