He lept off the cliff only glancing back once he was safely in the air. She had an hour, in the meantime, he decided to seek out his family.

Try as she might, she couldn't get up no matter what she did. Finally she resigned herself to die there. She couldn't get up.
When Euthy came back, he found her lying on her side, her head resting on the cold ground, eyes closed.

He'd had no luck finding his family, but he returned none the less. When he did he was carrying a bundle of dry old leaves he'd collected. Wasn't much, but if she hadn't managed to get off the ice yet they'd provide some traction.
When he got back and saw her laying still on the ice he began to wonder if it was a trap. She had no idea he'd come back, did she? Or was he just that dumb?
He moved in close, letting the leaves fall over her as he watched, "Hey... are you... awake?"

One of Judah's eyes snapped open, looking up and looking around. She looked weak and tired. "What do you want?" she croaked.

Auster actually wasn't all that far away from where his step son was. He heard him coming and looked up. "Oh. Euthyphro."
