Quirking a brow at Ever's comment about two single men he shook his head, even as he filed that little bit of information away. "I'd say there would be nothing to be jealous of, but it's rather pointless in stating to obvious. But yes, we would be willing to share with new officers." He had no problem in sharing and having another person or two move in with him and Alois.

"I'd like to say that anyone, corrupted senshi or not, do better with an officer to rely on. But that's of course my opinion." And he hadn't the experience some did, while he had more than others likely. He'd had Bazzite, who undeniably needed to rely on someone to guide him. And Alois had taken some work as well, but he thought he was turning out nicely. He'd make a hell of a General when he reached that rank, and he was sure he would. For such a random corruption, without any real consideration given to it, he'd picked someone who was good for it.

And while Typhon had stressed him and driven him a bit nuts the other had needed a lot of work, work it seemed no one else up till that point had given him. If they hadn't clashed, and had it end as it had, he might have been able to help him to a point. He'd wanted to but the other was just difficult to deal with, in a way that not even Alois reached. Actually he liked to think he and Alois were getting on better than in the beginning.

Eyeing Alois as the other leaned on the counter he flashed him a smile, something between warm and mischievous. "Would I be right in saying that you'd accept them because you'd have someone new to toy with?" He questioned, not that he really sought an answer. Little did he know that Alois wouldn't mind someone to move in who was like himself, just so it would be two people throwing his world into disorder.

"Whatever the reason --" Ever cut in, absently, then paused to down the rest of his juice all in one go. He slid forward on his seat. Not standing, not quite, but obviously thinking about it. He'd taken enough of their time, perhaps, or had spent enough of his own, or maybe just a bit of both.

"-- it's good to know there options." And it was good to know what sort not to send around -- his eyes flashing into first Alexandre and then Alois. The thought made him smile, all at once, a flash of teeth in his mouth.

"It was nice to meet you guys. I feel so out of touch. Too many months away."

Ever's interjection saved him from having to answer Alexandre. Alois only clicked his tongue in response and watched Ever intently. A curious creature, to be certain - he seemed out of place, almost an anachronism, but he couldn't quite figure out why. Maybe it was his body language, or his almost fleeting tone. It seemed at any minute he'd vanish, without a trace, gone with the wind.

Perhaps that was what Ever intended to do.

"You look out of touch," Alois returned offhandedly, "and you look like you're ready to leaf'. If you decide to send Offiziere our way, try not to send too many or zey're liable to end up hurt." He wasn't about to elaborate on whether it was emotionally or physically.

After standing up and managing a languid stretch, Alois approached their visitor. He paused a foot away from the taller man and clapped him on the shoulder in a gesture of mock friendship. "And next time you drop by, bring beer, eh?" With a flash of an almost vicious smile, he released his grasp on Ever's shoulder.

"And Alexandre," he turned his attention to the short blonde, "don't be surprised if you find some interesting sings about ze house over ze next few days. It seems you're starting to know me too well - I haf' to change zat, you know." The day he became easily predictable was the day he allied with the senshi. Needless to say, both sounded terribly farfetched, if not outright fantastical.

For a meeting with a fellow Negaverse officer out of uniform, this wasn't so bad. Though he still had no idea of Ever's rank and name, he supposed he didn't need to know. Perhaps it was for the best this way. At least it granter Ever some semblance of a mystery, which interested Alois, albeit vaguely.

It was good for there to be multiple options for those they recruited, and he liked to be one of those options. He just wished his home was larger so he could take more people in, not that he was hurting for room right now.

"Indeed, it was a pleasure to meet you as well Ever." As he glanced to Alois he approached the other two, taller, males. "And perhaps some warning before you send anyone our way, in case we've already taken people in. I wouldn't want some sort of upset with someone coming here expecting to be taken in and finding out we have no room." He wouldn't feel bad about it but he might feel some guilt for not being able to give them a proper room. One hand slipped into the pocket of his pants as he stood casually, his weight shifted to one side. He did hope Alois wasn't implying that he'd hurt anyone, although he figured Alois meant hurting them mentally with his pranks and general behavior and demeanor.

"Perhaps some event would help to cure that out of touch feeling." An offered few words followed but a shrug as his gaze turned up and over to Alois. "Of course not, you want to keep me on my feet, something I both dread and don't mind. Can you just keep your cigarette butts out of my plant pots?" He asked. He really disliked his plant pots being used as makeshift ash trays.

"I'll see you to the door, Ever?" He asked while turning his attention to the white haired male.

"Uh huh." It was in response to both of them -- though, for Alois, it came with a mock-friendly punch in the shoulder, perhaps recognizing the not-so-subtle power play involved in that shoulder grasp. His grin, as ever, was a shield. Too-wide and too-easy. Too much teeth. He turned to Alexandre, to follow toward the door.

"Don't you worry, I'll give you a couple days notice. Or a couple hours, at the very least." It meant that poor Alex got the full force of that smile, and just now, it seemed almost dangerous.

He'd pause on the doorstep, rolling out his shoulders, not quite leaving -- "You just keep your hands out of their chests, yeah?"

A few hours notice he could deal with, anything was better than someone simply showing up on his door step. Not only could they not have room but also there might be no one even home, for hours possibly. It wasn't like he didn't have a life, sort of, and Alois had his own life as well.

Leading Ever to the door he was surprised when he stopped, as he was already opening the door to let their guest out. Pausing he turned sharp slate eyes up to the other. Biting the inside of his cheek for a moment, trying to quell his temper and the words which sought to pass his lips, he finally spoke. His tone colder, less friendly. "Of course, because if you'd not told me I'd do that as a form of welcome. You know a simple handshake is simply so passé." The smile was all too sweet, almost like his face might split should his lips stretch any further.

"I do believe I was already spoken to about the incident, by two General King's, I don't believe I need warnings from yet another person. So your words are really unnecessary. In fact, I would suggest that before one speaks of things they should have all their facts - which I don't believe you do." He could have heard a lot, been told a lot, but did he have a clue as to the blonds feelings on his own actions? Had he seen how it had all happened, felt it all? No. So did he really think Alexandre had liked what had resulted? Did he think Alexandre would do it again, on purpose this time, knowing what would happen?

"Perhaps you should leave."

Alois smiled darkly and followed behind the two before leaning against the doorframe. It groaned beneath his weight, as it always did, as if tired and strained from years of providing entry to the house. As he listened to their meandering conversation, Ever paused and responded in a way that sparked Alois' interest, and garnered an inkling of respect from the misanthrope. That mischievous smile widened, and he aimed to contribute in his own perpetually maddening way.

"At least buy zem dinner before you fist zem," Alois added with a smirk and a cocked eyebrow. His cool gaze focused on the blonde and watched in satisfaction while his roommate seethed and squirmed under the acerbic wit stemming from the two taller men. Despite his haughty remarks, his snide criticisms, it was obvious who won the battle of the minds here. Alois' contributions notwithstanding, Ever had a helluva sharp tongue to him.

He could appreciate that.

Parting from the doorframe with a soft click of his metal claw, he ran his fingertips along Alexandre's shoulder in passing. "Zere's a burn center on Sampson and Broadway." He pointed in its general direction while he headed toward the kitchen.

That strange encounter left him hungry, and not quite so tired anymore.

Alexandre's furious response left Ever's face flashing to honest-to-God surprise, eyebrows raised and smile disappearing for about a count of ten. Of course, it only disappeared for a count of ten, and with Alois's comments it came back after that in full force. Double force. Stronger than it had been. It was a helpless sort of smile, one of mixed discomfort and, well, amusement.

He couldn't help it. That was just so...out of left field.

"Chill, it was a joke. I don't think you're a halfwit, so don't expect you to do it again. Not anytime soon, anyway." He hopped down off the stoop, with that, waving back toward the pair of them as he did.

"And I'm going anyway. See you around."
