As if it would help her in some way, Alison stood on her tiptoes. She looked around at the other buildings. She saw the book store, a few clothing stores, and finally she spotted what she thought was a candy shop. "Over there," she pointed and smiled.
"Let's go," Auden grinned as he glanced over at Molly.

The shop was actually just a convenience store that had a sale on candy, since the town already had a candy shop and there was no point in the competition with so few manifests. Still, this place was selling candy very cheap, which was good.
"Ooh. Look, it's a saaaaale. That's where stuff's cheaper, right?"

"Yes. A sale means that things are cheaper." Victoria said as she came in just shortly after the three in front of her. To occupy herself while they shopped she headed towards the magazines.
"There is a little bit of everything in her," Alison said in aw. She glanced from row to row. They were after candy so that is the direction she headed.
Auden followed his sister. "So Molly what kind of candy do you like to eat."

Molly blinked a bunch. "Um...umm. I dunno! I don't get much candy. Small allowance, remember?"
She giggled and bounced on her heels, "What about you? what do you guys like?"

Auden and Alison glanced at each other. They were totally clueless when it came to candy and sweets.
"Like we said previous the closet thing we've had to candy is chocolate covered strawberries." Auden looked away from his sister and towards the rows of candy. He scanned the packages looking for something that might let him know he might like it. "I'll give his a try," he said as he picked up a package of taffy that had an apple on it, "It has A picture of an apple and that probably means that it tastes like an apple."
Alison crinkled her nose a bit. She wish she had a little more to go on than just a picture on a wrapper. She stared at the candy. It was so hard to decide! Then she saw it out of the corner of her eye. There was candy that had caramel and peanuts. That seemed interesting enough. She picked it up. "I'll try this."
Alison opened up her purse so that she could take out their money.
Auden who was scared of things falling out of his pockets had let his sister hold onto his money. He felt it was a bit safer in a container with a zipper.
"This will be my treat so pick out what you want Molly." Alison smiled.

Molly stared at the older kids with wide eyes before darting forward and hugging Alison around the middle. She was just so HAPPY!
"Eeeeeeee, really? You're really gonna let me get something?"

That hug made Alison feel all warm and fuzzy. She returned it, adding a bit of a 'squish' to it. "Yep. Pick out anything you like," she confirmed.
Auden grinned as he watched the two girls.

Molly dashed down the aisle, looking at all the different candies available and trying to read their contents. There was so much to choose from! She was practically flailing till she found a giant pack of gummyworms in a two pack sale for a dollar and a half. That should be good right?
"Here! How about this?"

"Those do look very yummy," Alison briefly exaimed the bags of gummy bears, "Lots of different flavors and chewy."
"Here," Auden said as he handed Alison and Molly a bottle of water. He had grabbed them while he waited for Molly to pick out her candy. "I think we are ready now."
Alison took the bottle of water, "Thank you." She held out her hand for Molly and smiled. "How about we go and pay for our things now?"

Molly was happy to trail along after the older kids and eat snacks with them for a while. As it started getting too late, she remembered her curfew from the techs, and had to bit them farewell. She thanked them forever for the treats and dashed off to her apartment.
The tech in charge of her vaguely wondered how the girl had gotten so hyped up on sugar so late in the evening, but Molly just giggled and passed it off. No need to share that with him!
