Things couldn't possibly get worse, could they? It could. To put it simply: A youma. A flying ducking youma. No really, it was a duck. Except when I say duck I actually mean prehistoric long lost ancestor to the duck, more closely related to a crocodile. Just look at that jaw, and those teeth! There was no way that is a bill! So in summary, Ainsley summarizes that the youma that's flying toward her is actually a crocodile with wings and feathers. She might have been amused by the storybook youma if she had been in different circumstances. However, she wasn't and she didn't understand. What did she ever do to deserve this? Was it because that one time she stabbed Sassolite's youma with her own arrow to protect one of her teachers? It couldn't be because she'd clearly been attacked by youma enough to make up for that tenfold. Basically, as Pascal Lalande would put it, this was just another cruel joke from the universe. Haha, enjoy!
Ainsley's screams stopped when she seen the youma approaching her, her throat feeling suddenly dry. She didn't have time to do anything before the talons of the youma had grabbed onto her sunhat, tearing it away. She flinched, grabbing her head in such an abrupt motion that suddenly the whole seat she was seated in began to move. It rocked and she shrieked, waving her hands uselessly at the youma.
"Please, leave me alone! I've done nothing to you and I've been nothing but kind to your kind!" She cried out as the youma's talons scrapped her dress, tearing a big gap between the polka dots. It had just grazed her skin, enough to cause her to cry out in pain and draw blood but not enough to need stitches. She was safe, but if she didn't get out of this ride soon a few stitches would be the least of her worries. However, it didn't matter that a youma was attacking her because, as she cried, her biggest concern was still the fact she was stuck in the air on this ride.

Pascal could hear the slight sound of what seemed to be a child screaming. He couldn't see from his vantage point but it concerned him. It wasn't just the Drop Tower that was acting up, was it? It was pretty much impossible that they would all get a mechanical problem at the same time and for some reason that thought comforted him. It wasn't the machines, it was the people running them or some other interference. He felt bad for the child screaming but he couldn't locate it and to be honest there was something more important in front of him, trying to gather herself.
It didn't seem to be much effort at all once Pascal actually attempted to get out, sliding out of the car quite casually. He rushed over to Zia and he hugged her, whispering softly. "I'm right here," he comforted. "Something is happening here, it's not good. There is no way all the machines would get a mechanical problem at the exact same time, even if they didn't do any upkeep at all. Someone," he said, choosing that last word carefully. He knew very well it might not be a someone but a something but he didn't want Zia to know that side of him. "Someone has to be doing this."

Leucite found yet another wonderful target. Another young male had left his date to fend for herself, and Leucite was not about to forgive that. Where was their sense of honor? The willingness to protect their dates from harm. To him it was disgraceful and cowardly.
Leucite could not abide cowards. Grabbing this young man by the throat, he lifted him off the ground a little and then slid his hand into his chest, grabbed the poor sod's starseed and yanked it right out, letting the body fall lifeless to the ground, discarded like the garbage it's owner had been in Leucite's opinion.
Another Starseed was pocketed and he moved back into the crowd in search for prey.

"Oh, God," Paris groaned unsteadily, staring at the ground that seemed very far beneath him. "What the ever living ******** should not have had those two beers. One would have been okay, and there'd been a tiny part of him that had wondered if he really should have let Chris dump the second one out. But then two probably would have been fine if he'd had more to eat than what Chris had gotten him to nibble on in line. Even now he was... well, he was okay, comparatively, he'd certainly been worse off... but suddenly being stuck up at the very tip top of the swings and knowing that something was suddenly very wrong set him on edge and made his stomach give a very uncomfortable twist.
Suddenly it seemed as if the comments he'd made in jest about puking out of the swings earlier might not be so much of a joke after all.
Perched up here, he didn't even know what he'd been thinking when he'd wanted to go on the swings. Looking for a bit of fun, surely. He hadn't exactly realized that this was going to happen, and everything seemed fun until it wasn't anymore.
He could hear someone screaming nearby.
Crap. What the hell.
"Hey, uhhh, Chris? I think our date's been crashed again."

"You think...?" Chris sputtered in response to Paris, distress clear in his voice at their predicament. As much as he would have liked to be surprised that something like this was happening, he figured it was about time for the Negaverse to attack. It had been almost a year of pretty peaceful nights, but now everything went to s**t again.
He couldn't see where Zia was. Paris, thankfully, was in the swing next to him, but Zia had gone off with her boyfriend to another ride. Would she be okay?? From his vantage point he could barely make out anything that was going on in the chaos below, and it bothered him that he was pretty much trapped, unable to do anything to help, when his best friend could be in trouble.
She was just a civilian, after all...
"s**t, Paris look out, there's some youma heading this way," he groaned, struggling with the chain of his seat to unhook himself. If he had to jump down he'd rather do it sooner than later.

Leucite was tearing through the ride area, the pickings were surprisingly good, the youma were quite good at corralling people into blind corners and it was simple enough for him to simply place his hand against the chest of a cowering person and draw their energy.
This one in particular, a scrawny looking male teen, near about wet himself when Leucite began to drain him of his energy. But Leucite ignored such petty distractions and soon the teen crumpled to the ground unconscious, as Leucite pocketed a rather large orb of energy on his person.
This was almost too easy...
Really - where were the senshi? They couldn't possibly scared of little ole' Lt. Leucite...

Lily has separated from Trevor just for a second, having sworn she'd seen her friends. She'd promised to meet up just ten minutes later and run off. Unfortunately, as was the story of a senshi's life, all holy heck broke loose and she youma, more than she'd even thought she'd seen at once in all her years as Maia. Rides were starting to go haywire as the attendants starseeds were yanked or they were drained until they passed out, or at least that what it looked like.
She had run off to find a place to power up, doing so quickly, but as soon as she was Maia she found herself swept up in a crowd of people rushing at ride, trying to slow, stop them or retrieve their children. They were generally less that successful getting caught on the rides themselves and that how she found herself trapped on the spinning cups. It was going so fast she was quickly dizzied, even being a ballerina could keep her from being dizzy on the spinning cups of doom.

How, and why, he'd wound up on the bumper cars was not something he wished to think on, not considering he was on them when all hell broke loose. He really disliked the jolting shocks as a they crashed into each other, especially the one he'd been seated in.
The idea had been simple though! He'd move around in the little car, which really was far too sensitive to little taps in either direction with it's wheel, it moved far too easily for his taste, and bang into people. If he could keep them in place long enough, and be close enough, he figured he could make contact and grab some energy. But well...that had gone up in flames. People seemed trapped, running wild, and in general people were in a state of chaos. And while that was good, it made work easier, it was also annoying!
Oh well, time to get out of his little car and join in on the causing of said chaos.

He's actually been having a good time. Drifting from ride to ride with a smile plastered onto his face. It seemed like coming here, no matter what the reason, was a good idea. He'd already been on the ferris wheel, he didn't really see the point in that. But the dropper was certainly fun, that was the first ride he'd gone on.
The bump cars was something he'd decided to try, having not been in one since he was much younger, if only to see how these things drove/handled compared to a normal car. Being the age to drive a normal car he couldn't help but wanting to compare the two in his mind, and he really found these things shockingly hard. A little nudge of the wheel to the left sent it far too much to the left and such.
He'd been moving away from someone, some younger girl, who'd hit into him when things started to get out of hand. By out of hand he meant it went to hell in a nice neat little hand basket, just who was carrying that hand basket though?
"The hell is going on?" He asked as he looked about. It seemed someone, not to far off, was trapped in their bump car. Another person was fleeing, and doing a good impression of a banshee. He was really going to have a headache when he got home from this. Right now though he wanted to get out of here and find some nice place to hide and avoid all of this. This wasn't his scene, not in the slightest bit.

Leucite was glad he'd pulled out his flag earlier - not because there were Senshi about... hardly. But now he was able to play around with it. He started humming as he walked along. Each Starseed he'd taken today he could feel the weight of inside his uniform. So much energy in such a tiny package.
It was enough to make him giddy.
Finding another target, he grabbed the man and pushed him into one of the rides's fence's with the edge of his flag.
"You know what..." He told the confused civilian male - who couldn't have been older then 25. "I think this is a rather great day today."
The male blinked at him, opened his mouth to reply only to croak and look down in fear as Leucite's hand plunged into his chest.
"Too bad it's not so great a day for you," Leucite said with a smile as he pulled the Starseed from the male, who's eyes rolled back as he crumpled into a broken heap at his feet.
"Hmph..." Leucite cleared his throat and twirled his flag a little before holding it at the ready again and walking back out into the fray to seek another target. He went back to humming - waving his flag idly as he went about.
Leucite once again picked a passing civilian, this time a blond woman - just because it was rude to just stick to one gender! Pushing her against the fence near the body of his last victim, he placed his hand on her chest and focused on drawing out her energy.
Once he felt he'd grabbed a sufficient amount, he formed it into a nice little orb and pocketed it. Leaving the poor woman to weakly sink to the ground.
Leaving her to her fate - he moved on in search of fresh prey.
Once out of his bump car the General was off and stalking the mass of terrified people. Grabbing a person as they ran by he took what ever he could from them before letting them go. He wouldn't, and couldn't, waste his time on draining them till they passed out nor could he afford the time to be nice and let them down to the ground gently.
This was a crowd of people who were in a state of panic. And he had to be amongest them gathering energy, similar to a shark with a bait ball. At least that was how it felt to him at the moment.

Bump cars And Chaos, you are focusing on energy! .
Seeing what was going on Ian really didn't want to stick around, though he knew he should. He knew what he should be doing, and he ad the means to do so on him. But as he tried to get out of the bump car he was in he fell, tripped, something. Either way he landed face first on the ground and had to pick himself up quickly as an out of control car seemed to be aiming to run him over as best it could.
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea coming here tonight? It was certainly starting to look that way. Had someone sent out a memo about this happening he'd have avoided coming here, found something better to do with his time. Hell, he might even take listening to his drunk of a father over this, though he wasn't sure really on that one. Point was...was that this was not where he wanted to be. With a bump car chasing him he took off headed for the exit, even as he tripped again.

- Bump cars - The ride is getting the better of you: regardless of what team you are on, you are having some difficulty with your 'chosen' location. Dizzy, stuck on something, fallen out of the bumper car, attacked by a youma and taken damage: you are put in a bad situation.

Another male got trapped in Leucite's sights, grabbing him as he runs past, Leucite adds him to his growing collection of bodies slumped against the fence. Pressing him hard against the fence as he draws the much coveted energy from his body into a nice, neat orb.
Pocketing the orb with the others, he smirks and sighs contently. It was really quite a haul today.
