Lunesca couldn't resist a smirk that crossed her face at Aidan's reaction. "Of course not. Do you think that I couldn't kill you from such a close range if I rea--." Oh ********. Was this really the time for everyone to be gathering around? She turned to look at Elliot and further down to Zinka. She thought about commenting on how pretty the tiger was looking today, but was distracted by Finnian's grand entrance. She rolled her eyes at his obvious try at heroism and was honestly shocked when Aidan dropped to his rescue. She tore her eyes away from the idiot and looked over at the newest arrival to the group. Ah, Gray. At least he probably wouldn't want to do some stupid type of performance. She was instantly afraid that she had spoke too soon when he grabbed for the knife, but thankfully he didn't take it too far. She watched him flip the knife before it was coming back to her. She gripped the knife by the blade and squeezed as tightly as she could while staring into Gray's eye. Yeah, she was a total hardass. She pulled her hand back and switched the blade to the other side before revealing her clean hand.
No, it wasn't some stupid trick that she had picked up from her brother. The knife was rubber. She wouldn't possibly be stupid enough to go tossing real blades at possible patrons, even if she was certain of herself. It was just bad practice. She glanced down at Finnian before flicking the blade to show everyone that it had never been real. Ha! Now Finnian looked even more like an idiot. Wait. No. The ketchup had definitely won. "ANYWAY!" She said loudly once her knife had been placed back into her boot. "Nice to meet you, Aidan. I'm Lunesca. You can call me Luna, if you must shorten it. Otherwise, I believe that Finnian and perhaps Tshila will be able to adequately assist you from here. Shall you ever require my services, well... just don't." She faked a smile and contemplated walking away in a huff, but dammit with everyone gathered there may be something important about an upcoming show that she needed to hear. So, she decided to stay, though now her previous statement felt a bit more awkward. Oh well. It wasn't like she was here to make friends anyway. This was strictly business.

Ah, so it wasn't a party. Elliot wasn't sure if she should be relieved or disappointed, so she went with her usual mood, which was neutral. With a small nod of understanding, Elliot reached into her pocket and pulled out a handkerchief, bending down to dab the drool from Zinka's chin. That was when Finnian made his entrance, and by the time she had stood up straight again, her boss and roommate was rolling around on the ground. "Finnian, someone might step on you," she observed, much less startled by the ringmaster's shenanigans than the new girl was. Gray had even come over too, and now it looked like the whole circus was here to greet this person! (Minus a clown or two.) New acrobat... New acrobat! Oh, so she was a new acrobat! Elliot looked up at Aidan (since, y'know, Elliot's tiny) with as much interest as her typically-blank expression could manage. It was always exciting to have new additions to the family!
People had begun to introduce themselves, and Elliot stroked Zinka's ear anxiously. Oh, she never knew what to say in self-introductions. What was an appropriate amount of information? Should she point out that she was the shortest one in the circus? Older than she looked? Roommates with Finnian? Favorite foods? Occupations of family members? She never knew where to draw the line, and it made her quite tense. But everyone else seemed to keep it simple, so after Lunesca introduced herself, Elliot decided now was better than never. "Hello... My name is Elliot... I'm the animal trainer... Do you like animals...?" she cocked her head to the side inquisitively. "And this is Zinka," she placed her hand on the tiger's head. "She had an... accident... as a cub, she's docile, so don't worry." She had learned through experience that not everyone felt quite as comfortable with a tiger on a leash as she did. "Nice to meet you... both of us..." Ah, Zinka had started to eat grass again.

Ah – ah, yes! She had understood how heroic of an act that was, pleasing Super Kuiper immensely with his new acrobat because it was starting to feel like no one believed his heroism anymore around the circus.. Outside of his young ward, but she was far too young to work at the circus so that hardly counted! Even if Finnian could use it as a metaphorical bandaid after the blow to his ego that the rest of his employees inflicted. He cleared his throat and forced himself to bounce back into action – literally, as he bounced up from his spot on the ground and swiped a hand over the ketchup still left on his uniform! He frowned at the smear, but shrugged if off – he had gotten worse stains out of his super-suit before!
“Aha!! I see you have seen through my clever ruse – you have passed the first test and will be allowed to work full time at my circus!” He pulled a handful of confetti from his back pocket and threw it in the air, because this was a celebration! He would have went to give Aiden a hug, but he was covered in ketchup still and that would have been rude – too rude for a true superhero to do! Instead, he jutted a finger up in the air and started loudly so everyone could hear him, “Speaking of human dartboards – thank very much, Mr. Wellington, for bringing it up!” He paused to stare suspiciously at the man for a moment, before looking to the rest of the girls with a smile, “For I, Super Kuiper, your beloved ringmaster and employer, have realized how absolutely dry our shows have been lately! I believe it is time for us to bring in a new act in celebration of our latest addition to our family!”
He set a hand on Aiden's shoulder and waited a beat for applause before pointing back towards the main tent, “As we speak, three mysterious crates are being delivered to three different tents, inside of which are our latest acts waiting to be tested out! You will find the first crate where Elliot usually works! Now, away!” And he would have dashed away right then to get to the location first, but he had to assure that Lunesca would actually participate. “And I will consider anyone who doesn't stay with the group helping out with their paycheck!” It would be pretty helpful if someone gave up their pay to help with the purchases; Finnian did go over the budget a bit.. Oh, well! He dashed off with a loud laugh to the animal trainer tent!
