Yuki looked up when the sound of cannon fire echoed through the air. She couldn't tell where it was coming from, but it didn't sound like it was from their current wall. She put one of the swords back up on the wrack and blew out the incense she had laid out. She folded her hands to say a small prayer for her late parents then placed the brick back over her secret shrine. She looked up at Gregory who was sitting at the top of the wall "Hey hotshot," she called up to him, "did you hear that too? Sounded like a cannon. Do you see anything from up there?"

"It's coming from Maria", Gregory answered her as he got his G.E.A.R, Ready for use, "Bet it's the Titan's over there", he said and looked at her, "We best get over there quickly".

"Well if someone is fighting there, then it is best to make sure that the damn things don't get any further inside", Gregory said as he finished getting his G.E.A.R. ready, he then took off for Maria, wondering what was happening.

Yuki walked back to her house after her trip to the supposedly abandoned wall. Sure things didn't exactly go as planned, but it turned out pretty well. And now she could sharpen her sword. Yuki picked the sword up from her bed along with the wetstone and headed back onto the porch, making sure to grab another can of beer first. She sat down and began to sharpen the katana, she would have to make sure to bring a second sword too just in case. And some extra food and water...and maybe a ranged weapon or something...and a tinderbox....and a bag to carry that all in

Yuki glided her hand gently over the edge of her blade to make sure it was as sharp as could be, checking for any nicks or dull parts she could sharpen. This was her primary sword and it would have to be perfect because....because she wanted it to be. Suddenly there was a crash behind her and she accidnelty jerked her hand, slicing it open on the sword "Goddamn" she cursed as she clutched her palm and rushed towards the back of the house. The bleeding could be fixed later, right now there was something that fell in her backyard she had to deal with. She ran into the yard to find Sauren on the ground and in pain. "Kid? What on earth are you doing here?" she asked frantically "You should be in the hospital, are you ok?! Can you get up? No don't, you might hurt yourself more" she blurted out with a shake of her head before rushing over to him. She leaned down and slipped her arms under him, without letting go of her own hand to try and minimize the bleeding, then picked him up to bring him inside "geeze kid, you've gotta be more careful." she said with a shake of her head

While she was carrying him Sauren began to struggle and eventually slipped free, causing her hands to separate and quite a bit of blood to splatter onto the floor. She quickly put her hand back over the gash in her palm and glared at Sauren "You're in my house, I can call you kid if I wanna call you kid!" she snapped back almost playfully "Now sit down at least" she said in a much calmer tone. She ignored that last part and rushed into the next room, returning a few moments later with a big bundle of cloth, a needle, and some thread. She pushed the cloth up against her cut and looked at Sauren "You're going to get yourself killed running around the place in that state."

Yuki took a deep breath before he started stitching up the wound but beyond that she didn't even flinch. What else was to be expected? She did stuff like this for herself for almost ten years now "If you kill yourself running about the place a whole lot more people would die then if you sat out to heal you wounds" Yuki said stiffly. She was trying her best to block out all hints of pain. "You can't always watch out for everyone. And besides, I'm sure someone's life would be devastated if you died. You've got yourself a family, don't be so quick to abandon them"
