"Different... but happy." Delta was smiling, and his quiet, clear voice reflected it. "It's like stepping into a whole new world..." And this one didn't have the negative emotions that had surrounded his last entry into 'a whole new world'. His amnesia had given him the same sort of sensation when he looked around and saw things for the first time in memory. A sense of awe, of irrepressible wonder. It was amazing and it made him happy to be able to walk through this new perspective.

“And this is what it’s like not to see with one’s eyes.” Not good, not bad, just different. “This world you can visit any time, but perhaps now it’s time to return to your own since you aren’t used to mine.” It was the world she chose rather than barely being able to see. “Would you answer a question of mine?” He didn’t really know her and she had extracted no promise from him to make him owe her anything. She stayed by his side not knowing what the dripping from the river could be. Still that was not what she questioned.
Kaelpie was growing annoyed watching them. What could they be up to just standing there?

"Alright..." Delta opened his eyes again, squinting in the sunlight as they readjusted. He blinked and looked down at Adaeze. A question? "Sure," he replied. It was a fair request. She'd answered his question, after all.

“What’s it like to fly. I heard you land. It’s not a quite sound. I also know you have wings.”The chain jingled again as she turned her head to ‘look’ at him. It was something she wondered more than she’d care to admit.
Kealpie watched with her head lowered again.

"Hmm..." How to describe flight to someone who'd never flown... "I guess the best comparison would be weightless running. The wind's in your face and there's nothing around you but air... but it makes you feel free and alive." Delta tilted his head a little. "Um... does that make sense?" He wasn't very good at explaining things...

“No, not really. I can’t imagine not having the ground under me. The wind is nice but something stable is really what I need.” She was nothing if not honestly. Still to only have the wind around her, well with her luck she would crash into a tree. Still at least she had an answer. She liked getting those. “Thank you though.” She moved away from him to give him some space in chase he didn’t want her to close.
Kaelpie wondered if they were going to leave she risked raider her head again. It was almost noisely but she saw the masked mare look at her.

Delta smiled. "I can understand that. Apparently I wasn't much of a flier when I was little..." Though he couldn't say for sure why, since he couldn't remember that time. He blinked and followed Adaeze gaze to the river when she turned to it. His eyes locked onto the Azrien head sticking out of it. "I thought I saw something earlier." He took a few steps closer, smiling. "Hello. I'm Delta. What's your name?"

Not knowing what or who Delta was speaking with Adaeze stayed quite and still. She didn’t think that Delta was the kind to talk to a water serpent but who was to say?
Kaelpie’s eyes widened and she had tried to dip her head back under the water but it was too late she was caught and she knew it. Silently cursing herself she just stared at the land male. Lowering herself so that her head was only just above the water she prepared for what would likely come next. “Not your concern.” She said it with a sneer on her face and turned in the water quickly so that the force of the moment would create a fling in the water with her tail. The end result was a large amount of water being sprayed at the two land walkers while Kaelpie was on her back sinking quickly back into the water.

Startled by the water being sprayed at him, Delta tried to scramble backwards. However, he'd drawn too close to the water's edge and the ground under his front hooves slid forward into the river. He spread his wings in an effort to keep the rest of him out of the water, his back hooves digging into the ground to attempt to keep him anchored.

Feeling a sudden splash she bolted up in hop. Shaking her head her chain rattled as she tried to figure out what was going on. She heard a splash. “Delta?” She didn’t know the stallion well but she didn’t want him to get hurt, and who was that other voice. “Delta what’s going on?” She snorted and then froze perfectly still to figure out what was happening around her.
Laughing Kealpie rolling in the water darted forward to try and nudge the male’s hooves out from under him. On land she was at a disadvantage but in the water she was the queen.

"I'm slipping," Delta replied weakly. "And she's trying to make me--ah--slip the rest of the way." He flapped his wings to try and discourage the half-fish Azrien in the water, trying to use his back legs' hold to haul the rest of himself back onto solid ground. But the water mare's nudging was making him slip further down, and he wasn't very strong...

Slipping? That wasn’t good. There was another Azerin in the water tugging on him or pushing him? But what about the serpents? Hearing the flapping she used it to try and gauge the distance to Delta. Moving forward she felt for what she thought was him. Bumping him she quickly moved back to his tail and yanked away from the water. The soil was soft from the water that had come down suddenly and she wasn’t sure if it would make them all slide in but she had to try and help him.
Laughing Kaelpie pushed and pulled harder on him not wanting him to get away. Those wings were scaring her a bit but she was in her element there could be no one to stop her now.

Delta tried snapping at the Azrien in the water to get even a second of relief from the pushing and pulling. It was well timed; Adaeze yanked on his tail and pulled him back the inch he needed. His wings worked as hard as they could, lifting him out of the water enough to let him scramble backwards to safety. He ended up colliding with his new friend, sending them tumbling into the mud. "S-sorry..." Untangling himself from her, he smiled sheepishly--though she couldn't see it. "And thanks..." He probably would've fallen in and drowned had she not been there to help anchor him; with the water Azrien trying to drag him in, he wouldn't have been surprised if she wouldn't have kept him from getting air the instant he was immersed.

Ending up as a pillow for Delta was really not in Ad’s plan for the day. Still the fact he was safe and that he was apologizing did soften the blow. She nodded and tried to stand only to feel her mask tug on her. Her chain and wound up in her way and was around her legs under her body it would take some wiggling to fix the situation. Sighing she started to work on it.
Oh honestly Kealpie pouted as she sunk deeper into the water out of the reach of the land walkers. She had been so close had it not been for that other mare. “What’s wrong can’t swim?” She snorted softly before slipping back under the water and circling staying out of sight. It would only be a matter of time before they tried to retaliate and she would be ready here in her element.

It didn't take long for Delta to notice his new friend's dilemma. "Oh! Here, let me help you." It was the least he could do since he was part of the reason she was tangled. He gently clamped his teeth around a piece of chain that wasn't in the middle of the mess, carefully sliding the loop off of her hoof. Then he withdrew a bit, trying to see if there was any other tangles that he could get out without being too invasive. He ignored the water Azrien's taunting; he wasn't going back towards the edge while she was there.
