Jacinthus turned to look over at Takoda, pausing in his pacing for a moment, then sighed, "It's just... for so long it's been up to me! After we lost our parents it was just us, I looked after her, kept her safe, did my best to hunt for us when all I had was a stick or a rock... I guess I am just still wanting to do just that." He said, clasping his hands together in an uncertain manner. This wasn't good. He didn't know where she was at the moment, didn't know who she was with, what she was doing... it could be innocent but it couldn't be the exact opposite. He didn't like all of the not knowing...
"I just... want to make sure she is always alright and I can't do that if she wanders off!" Even if she wasn't little and vulnerable anymore she was still his Little Kei. He wanted to look after her regardless damn it! When he was called to go and sit down, that Takoda knew it was a lot to take in but Jacin needed to calm down he nodded. After a moment more of pacing he walked over to the Healer, plopping down next to him, and said, "You swear you don't know who it was?" He wanted to just make sure that Takoda wasn't keeping anything else from him. The most important part of course being who he needed to beat to death with a stick...

A breath of relief as Jacinthus came to sit with him and though it was a bit hesitant at first he slowly slipped his arms around his lower and hugged him gently. He could understand that it was hard for Jacinthus to not want to look out for his sister, and now that she was expecting as well it would only be harder for Jacinthus to not want to protect her.
Leaning his head against him he turned his head slightly and gave his shoulder a light kiss. "That is what I love about you Jacinthus...your desire to protect those you love. But Keilana is grown up...and..she needs to live her life as well." He murmured before his eyes widened, he had..no real leads on who the father was other than it must be someone from the shifter tribe. She had after all asked him where it would be likely to find them and he had given the best directions he could.
"I swear I wouldn't lie to you about that Jacinthus...I am just as much in the dark as you are in that matter..." He managed to answer with a slow sigh.

Jacinthus gave a bit of a smile as Takoda cuddled up against him, wrapping his arms around him, hugging him close, eyes closing, and he seemed to be trying at least to relax even though it was hard as hell for him to do. He had to attempt to do as Takoda suggested, to allow Keilana to live her own life since she was an adult. Not something he wanted to do though, wanting nothing more then to just protect the family as he'd always done. This whole 'Kei being grown up' thing just didn't sit well with him at all... but maybe he could try to focus on Takoda instead to try to stay out of Kei's hair? He was sure that work until he actually saw his sister.
Opening his glimmering green eyes he looked down at his mate as he said he wasn't lying, that he was just as much in the dark as Jacinthus was, "Then I guess we can be in the dark together until she let's us in on the secret." He said after a long moment of thought.

Glad to see that Jacinthus was attempting to relax and even went as far as closing his eyes as if he was deep in thought. Giving a squeeze in encouragement he nodded his head, that was true..they would just both have to be in the dark until Keilana decided to reveal the father of her baby to them.
"And Animah is with her, so at least she didn't go into Jahaur alone right?" The shifter mentioned trying to put Jacinthus's mind at ease and only grimaced at his mistake. Dammit he wasn't very good at this...

A sound of surprise escaped from Jacinthus and he sat forward a little, "W-Wait... what? Jauhar? Why is she going to Jauhar?" He asked, not sounding as though the idea of his pregnant sister going to Jauhar was an idea that he liked even in the least bit, "And with Animah? That girl... can she even fight? She always kind of... soft... I don't know if it's a good idea." Should they go after her? She would likely be pissed off... maybe he should wait? Give her a bit of time before he went after her to drag her home where she would be safe? Damn it but this whole letting her be an adult stuff was already sucking and something he wanted to toss aside so that he could just find her, drag her home, and try to make her stay home where she would be safest. Bah!
"I... we will... ahh... wait." He said after a long, drawn out moment, he needed to do it, to wait for her, and when she got back they would talk or something. He nodded to himself then quickly added, "Though if she isn't home before evening I will go and find her myself." While he could allow her and her chatty friend go on their walk alone for now he would go if he felt that she was gone an inordinate amount of time. He couldn't just leave the two of them alone in a forest after all, not when one of pregnant and he wasn't sure about the fighting prowess of the other.

Takoda wished he could learn to just keep his mouth shut, just when he had started to get Jacinthus calmed down he got him all worked up again. Patting his arm he gave a half smile to him,
"Don't worry..I am sure Animah can look after Keilana, after all she is a mage...so she has magic at her disposal." He explained and then chewing on his lower lip considered Jac's comment about going out to find her if she wasn't home before dark.
"Al..right but I will come with you, after all two heads is better than one right?" He commented with a grin.

Jacinthus glanced at Takoda for a moment then nodded his head, "Alright, if you want to come along it might be a good idea. I mean who knows the place better then you." Takoda was from Jauhar so if they were going there to seek out Keilana and Animah then it was best that the Healer went along with him. Not only because he knew the place in fact but also because his healing abilities might come in handy if it turned out that Keilana had need of them. So long as the pair of them got along with one another long enough for Takoda to work with Keilana... he hoped that they might be able to get along at least that much he thought to himself before he settled down again.
"For now then I suppose that we should try to relax, huh?" He murmured, looking at the one that he had in his arms at the moment. He probably should do just that. Maybe his sister and her friend were just fetching things that were needed by Keilana to help to make her pregnancy easier? Or some sort of craving for an animal that lived in Jauhar? One of those large bugs or something they ate when they were prentices. If Keilana had her hammer and Aminah was in fact a magic wielder then things should be fine, right? Right... or so he tried to convince himself.

Snuggling deep into Jacinthus's hold he sighed glad that his lover had decided against jumping up and running after his sister. Looking up a small smile lit upon his face, he knew of a devious way to keep Jacinthus distracted...or at least he hoped so.
"I think I know what I can do to distract you from your worries..." He trailed off as he kissed the other man's chest, light little butterfly kisses trailing up to his neck and then to his face. It may take him all after noon to keep Jacinthus busy and distracted..but it would be worth it.
