"That would be nice. Traveling is always much more fun with someone else after all." He chuckled lightly before sitting down and watching the screaming bird. "Ya, give another...Five? Ten minutes she should stop." He leaned back slightly and relaxed, clearly glad he wasn't the one having to deal with her fit for once. He had enough battle scars to prove it already.
He thought about travel more. How long would it take? The island was huge after all. Who would he meet? Would they be nice or violent? It would be nice to get some more supplies for his home, some seeds maybe? There was so much to think about, but he shouldn't worry about that. For now it was just him, Celestia, and the screaming tot. Man he had some weird family. Even if it was weird, it did bring a smile to his face.

Celestia nodded. "Yes, that I agree with." Not that she could honestly say she'd traveled much in her life. Prior to their departure from Equestria in search of the great Tree, she had never left the kingdom. Even now, venturing away from the tree was limited to these little meetings with Aquos. Most of the island remained unknown.
Five minutes... She could deal with at least that long. For one of the first times, she was simply thrilled that she did not have to put up with this behavior on a regular basis.
Could the princess really try to become this screaming girl's mother, as he had decided to do? It was certainly one thing to come and visit, to provide him assistance and entertain the child. She did that already with her sister's children, as their aunt. If not a mother, perhaps here, too, she might be an 'Auntie 'Tia.' It might be better that way, with how little contact they would probably have.
"I cannot imagine how you remain relatively unharmed having to suffer through these tantrums on a regular basis."

Aquos rubbed his head before standing up again. "I just..Got used to it I guess?" He had been watching her, seeing her just...Not having fun with the screaming child. "Here. let me give her a go again." He spoke up as he gently grabbed the screaming tot out of the air. "Hey you squirt." He started to gently bounce her up and down in his arms.Skyla immediately stopped screaming and nestled into Aquos's arms, though her eyes were still locked onto the stranger, glaring at her.Aquos tilted his head as he looked to Skyla and then back to Celestia, making an odd face. "I...Don't like she likes girls..." He'd never seen her so...Angry? He wasn't even too sure what she was doing, but his gut told him she just didn't like girls for some reason.

Celestia released the levitation as Aquos took the girl, her arms crossing as she quieted. Well, that was good at least. Didn’t like girls? “Surely that is just anxiousness at meeting a face other than your own. With time, I do believe she should quiet down” just as she had in this moment.
Patience was something the princess could continue with for a very long time, if it came down to it. In her experience, even the most difficult of children could be calmed with careful and persistence attention. Surely a bird had few emotional differences from a pony.
