ohhhhh... are we attempting to roll the same thing? so all those numbers we're just tryin to match which means we caught 'that fish'. and if we catch it; then we get points... otherwise.. the rolls are bunk.? XD i was confused about how we figure out how many pts we have.

Yes - you need to match my number to catch the fish the fish are different sizes (dictated by # of points which will usually be stated in the post)
any not matching numbers can be considered failed casts - as in you didnt get a bite
