Lyceum was rather confused, not that she met a senshi before on her own side, because she hadn't, but what was a miniskirted warrior of justice doing knocking a civilian out. It didn't seem likely, but she wasn't about to call him a liar even if trying to convince her the merits of his side was plently good reason to do so.
"You sure it was one of ours, and not one of the one's that attacked me. A senshi with a hawk. I'm lucky my back didn't scar," she said having a conceited moment and thinking about all the low cut things she'd not want to wear sporting talon marks.
She nodded her agreement that they both knew all this was real and although believing things on the internet wasn't always a good idea especially on youtube, that didn't regularly apply to their city. She gave him a smirk at his small joke, raising an eyebrow before her attention was refocused with his snapping.
She frowned at the process being painful, "not to large a fan of pain, there was no pain in becoming a knight, but they do say no pain no gain. Still it seems like you didn't first get the information you are offering me. Also what is a General King and will one talk to me as well without trying to kill me and how would I get in contact with this person."
She didn't want to join there side, so to say. There were still a lot of actions against them as far as she was concerned, but she wasn't about to turn down information and the chance to make an informed decision.

Buddingtonite shook his head, not at all defensive about her question since he was a bit tipsy that day (that being a HUGE understatement, of course). He explained, "No, I am certain she was of the White Moon. The white on her clothes and the brilliant white light she radiated was a clear sign of that."
He couldn't help but wince at her experience, and he could almost feel his own back grow tense at the mere thought of it. A Senshi with a hawk? Never heard of one, but it certainly didn't strike him as odd. The one that attacked and somewhat helped him had an animal as a sphere too, didn't she? "It seems a little unfair that Senshi can harness such power, don't you think? Even if their intentions are good, it's still frightening to think that they can just summon these things at will. Do you understand our concerns? Do you blame us for rising up against them, as meager as our efforts may be?"
He was sure that there might have been a way to obtain some kind of peaceful arrangement, but for now, he'd stay right where he was, so long as the Negaverse would have him. He didn't think less of her for being turned off by the notion of pain, and he tried his best to be reassuring. The best option would have been not to mention the pain at all, but if she was truly considering switching sides, then it was something he'd rather throw on the table upfront now, than risk her going in there blind and stupid. Like him.
"Think of it as... getting a tattoo. For some, it's painful, but it'll mean something. And the pain only lasts a few seconds. You'll have suffered, a little, but you will come out stronger than ever, stronger than you could ever hope to be by tethering yourself to the White Moon." Buddingtonite spoke that with absolute resolve, as though he truly believed it. And he did. He may not have been their strongest fighter or even their most successful recruiter, but so long as they protected him, the Negaverse had his loyalty. "And a General-King, sometimes Queen, are the highest rank we can hope to obtain in the Negaverse. The one that woke me, General-King Zinkenite, he'll be more than willing to talk to you. He was willing to entertain me when I was naught but a civilian, and from what I've gathered, he is very civil, should you be worthy of his attention."
He only took a moment to consider this, before adding, "I'll put in a good name for you. That way, others won't be likely to harm you while you're thinking things over. If you want, I can see about arranging a meeting between you and Zinkenite... would you like that, or should we put that date off for another time?"

White clothes, okay, that she could see, but brilliant white light? How would he even know that unpowered? She was sure she'd see a senshi before at the town hall thing, met officially no, but she'd been a little preoccupied trying not to die, she didn't think anyone was glowing. She frowned slightly, but decided not to question it because if he was lying she was eventually suss out the truth from someone, somewhere.
Lyceum thought about it and she had to admit, it was a small bit unfair because she only got a branch, which was useless, but at the same time the senshi she fought against seemed to just have that going for him unless he was hiding something. "The same could be said for your side I'm sure. One side always has something the other side doesn't, depends on who's something is better to see who wins.
Lyceum nodded at the tatoo reference, not that she would intentionally do that to her lovely skin, but she got the reference. She listened as her spoke about this general king and decided that if he was willing to talk she was very willing to listen. She also decided she very much liked Buddingtonite, who was willing to try to keep her from dangerous encounters while she gained for information in her decision as to this war. So far the chaos side in her mind was winning, the scale was tipped in their favor.
"I would very much appreciate all of those things. I definitely would like to speak to Zinkenite and it would be nice not to be randomly attacked during this time. Is there a way that I can get in contact with you again, so that we can have this meeting?"

Buddingtonite considered her words and the wisdom that came with it, and he gave an approving nod as he explained. "Well, there certainly are benefits for embracing the Negaverse and its power, I'll give you that! We can teleport and have access to actual weapons, once we've proven ourselves to our superiors. So, can't complain…"
He was curious what would become of his boomerang when that time came. He feared he still had quite a ways to go before then, but that wasn't anything to bother poor Lyceum about. He wasn't sure exactly what was on her mind, but the fact that she was willing to not only humor him enough to chat with him, but to talk with General-King Zinkenite himself? That was always a good sign, no matter which way one looked at it. His smile deepened, even as he tried to refrain from showing too much elation. Like a teen being told yes by the sexiest girl in school when going to the prom but not wanting to appear so desperate in front of her, that was pretty much how Buddingtonite felt.
"I usually hang around the business district, next to an ol' candy shop that belongs to a friend of mine," Buddingtonite said, choosing his words carefully as he continued to smile. "I'll spread the word to as many officers as I know to not attack you. They'll be willing to oblige, I'm sure, but I can't make promises. I'll do my best, but I can guarantee that your talk with the General-King will be a safe and enlightening one."
And to somehow make a point, he placed a gloved hand over his chest, as if to say 'cross my heart' and gave her a polite bow. "Is there anything else you'd like to know, my dear?"

Lyceum was rather surprised at the mention of teleporting because she had no idea they could do that. It made her a bit wary, but this encounter had been for the best she thought. She knew more about the negaverse than she had known before and felt like she had option she didn't have before.
She nodded when he told her where he usually was and realized that it wasn't overly far from where they were and precisely why the pair had run into each other tonight. It was a very odd coincidence that Lyceum didn't plan to over look, "I am usually in the business district as well, I do not think finding you will be to difficult. And thank you for trying certainly and for offering me the chance to speak with your General-King."
She flushed slightly when she crossed his heart and bowed and when he asked his question she could help but to give a coquettish remark, "Are all the men in the negaverse so devilishly handsome and alluring as yourself?"
She gave a smirk, clearly, she didn't expect him to answer this, but if the answer was yes, all the better, if no at least there was him. "I will think on what else I wish to know," before giving a wink and flicking her hair as she turned to walk away, "until next time."

He loved it when a business deal went swimmingly well, and he loved it more when the pretty face he conducted said business with knew how to throw him a compliment. Of all the failed encounters before, it was good to know that he had managed to at least gain someone's approval, even if it was merely aesthetics, but she sounded as though she genuinely thankful for tis experience. Not one to take a bone and flee, this gentleman lingered around for a little longer to answer all of her questions, as well as express his gratitude. "You flatter me, but I can assure you, we have quite a few charmers in our ranks. Each of us offering something different from one another, to suit your fancy, however refined it may be."
Of course, he could have mentioned that if she wanted the best, then to look no further than himself... or maybe Osumilite. Yes, as far as he knew, he and Björn were the only competition he had met thus far, but he was certain he could outcharm them if he needed to.
He admired not only her wisdom to listen and evaluate the situation, but her beauty and spunk as well, and he rather liked that little wink as she turned away. A lesser man would have made his move then, now that her defenses were down, and while Buddingtonite was a man that loved opportunities, he didn't consider himself such a thing. He gave her a silent farewell, before turning away and returning to his shadows. He could have dragged her along with him, but he'd allow her to return to her realm of light... for now. The next time, he was certain that if he could not convince her, then Zinkenite could.
