Toxin shuddered as he removed himself from the goo monster that was now a man again, wiping himself clean in case any goo was left. "Make sure he stays down, because I am NOT doing that again," he grunted to Aria, shaking himself off as he looked around. The unconscious man hardly seemed like a threat anymore, and in truth even as the sludge monster he hadn't posed any sort of threat to Toxin personally; he was entirely restricted to physical attacks, it seemed, while Toxin was almost entirely immune to them. However, he had come to the same conclusion Jinx had as far as the attack; while he wasn't entirely sure about the fact that Plasmus was an enormous brute, from what he'd observed in the battle it was a safe enough assumption to make. And this attack was not the sort of thing that was organized by enormous brutes. This was very well planned, and decently executed. While the exact handiwork didn't match any modus operandi of the villains he was familiar with- an extensive list, by all means- Jinx seemed to have found something that gave her all the insight she seemed to need.

"Slade?" He asked, eyebrow raised at the metallic ball as she interrupted its purpose with her purple magic stuff. "A one-eyed English p***k-b*****d-megalomaniac," he muttered, smirking a bit as Jinx went on about him under her breath. He shook his head and chuckled; this just kept getting better. Giant ooze monsters, fear gas, mysterious masterminds... He resisted the nearly overpowering urge to roll his eyes, and when the urge had passed he let the twin grayish orbs fall on Jinx's pale skin as she contacted Fearless Leader over the comm link. She debriefed him and gave him her opinion on how they should handle it, which Toxin had little problem with; check on the two Titans still possibly affected by the gas, and then make sure there was nothing else going on in the Tower. When she finished, Toxin stepped forward and gave a nod.

"You and Flower-Child there go check on Beauty and the Shirtless Beast. I can sweep the tower faster than most, and if there are any surprises waiting they probably won't be expecting me. At least, not the way I plan on getting things done." He smirked, already partially dissolving in the air currents of the tower. A thin gray mist began lifting from his skin, and he was vanishing in it. "If Fearless Leader gets back to you, go ahead and apologize in advance if his plan is different from ours; it's easier to get forgiveness than it is permission, after all. And this kind of takes priority anyway," he muttered, giving a shrug with his one remaining shoulder. "Wouldn't want home base to be a hot zone, would we?" His chuckle faded with the rest of him, and in moments he'd vanished into a nearly invisible cloud of dust particles that floated into the air vents and vanished.

Jinx's cat eyes rested on the other pinkette, who seemed to be showing even more skin than before with tank top and booty shorts, Ummm... ooooookay, she's still ... wet. And she was in there with Behemoth around the time the attack occurred. No, wait. The timing's not quite right... The goth sorceress took a big breath before she launched into a line of inquiry... whilst trying to avoid embarrassing her new teammate over possible relationship issues, "Are you and Behemoth alright now? I remember hearing you scream, when Plasmus attacked with Scarecrow's fear gas. Since Plasmus is unconscious and back in human form...."

Roshni's thumbed in the direction of where an half-naked bound male lay at the side of the corridor, ".... Toxin's making a sweep of the Tower to make sure that there aren't any more pockets of fear gas and ... any more surprises for us. And as long as Plasmus here stays asleep, we'll be safe from him." Jinx holds up a deactivated mechanical eye-like camera for Syren to see, "I recognized this piece of equipment as belonging to an enemy called Slade, a.k.a. Deathstroke the Terminator. If you or Black Rose aren't familiar with Slade, pull up the Titan file on the man so you know about who we're up against...."

"Also, Rose and I sent messages to Nightwing, hopefully he'll get back with us in a minute or two... Which is actually strange that we haven't heard from him yet. Do either of you know how to get the 'Crime Alert' system up? That may tell us where Nightwing and the other Titans are."
