Continuing to move the brush through his hair it was easy enough to tell that she was trying to focus on brushing rather than what he was saying. IT was easy for him to say such things, he at least could blend in when he wanted to. Bitterness welled within her, why was it that everyone seemed to have a better time in life than she did?
Snapping out of her sell wallowing she noticed that Junjie had met similar prejudice and had noticed it with others as well. When he declared that he would protect her when he became one of the Ysali clan she found her brush snag in his hair. Eyes widening she untangled the brush and went about taking the knot out that she had caused.
"One step at a time...you have to become one first." She murmured as she still wasn't convinced they would allow a hybrid to join a clan. "And I doubt you'd want to follow me around...everywhere..."

Junjie couldn't help but to wince a little bit as the brush seemed to get itself stuck in his hair, causing him to look over his shoulder at her before he returned to looking forward. Owwie... he hadn't noticed that bit a knot in his hair he found himself thinking, glad that Tilawen was taking care of it since it meant that his mother wouldn't scold him for not taking care of his hair. As his friend told him that he had to take things once step at a time he gave a small nod of his head, one he hoped wouldn't interfere with the brushing, "Yeah, I know. That is the hard part but I guess that is why I am going to meet with this person that my mother knows." He explained, quite happy with that. His mother's friend would be able to help him out, that much at least he was certain of.
"Mmm, well... maybe not everywhere, but most places. I am sure that there are places that they only allow girls after all." He was sure he could probably pull of pretending to be a girl at the moment but it wouldn't really work out when he was older since he would need lack the proper chest for such play acting. The mental image was one that he found a little bit silly and had him grinning just a bit before he said, "But other then those places I am sure that we can travel other places together!" He was certain of that! Though he wasn't really sure where they should start, maybe they should ask their parents where a good spot for travel might be?
