Rep was sure the situation he was in was dangerous. He wasn't sure exactly why, just that his tension levels were through the ******** roof. On one hand he was absolutely endeared by Allan's enthusiasm but on the other it felt somehow like watching a toddler play in a road. He expected H to be glad to get rid of him and offload a problem back to Sun division - he hadn't considered for even a moment that Clarice might have an interest in keeping him alive, that anyone had an interest in keeping him alive. He wondered if it was simply because of Harrison or if it went back to their meal when he'd been careening off the rails.
He winced at the Life lead's cutting words and hoped that Allan's delusions meant he didn't hear the comments on mortality rates and Sun division as a meat grinder. He'd always seemed to take things personally, even through his apparent obliviousness, loss seemed to hurt and he'd watched the man half die in the line of duty.
He opened his mouth to speak and looked deeply stricken for a few moments before he could even line up words. When he finally spoke it was small and pitiful as he sidled a little nearer Allan like a child trying to defend their idol. "It's no his fault, sir." All the death and losses weren't for lack of caring, for some people in Sun, caring was all they really wanted.

There is some sort of theory involving perhaps the world Division Leaders, and Entropy, often known as the Law of Division Leader Entropy. It goes like this:
All Division Leaders are beings in their own existence that give off energy at an equal rate to their energy consumption, thus perpetuating the state of Division Leader Entropy.

Where entropy (S) is found in a state of relative mental stability (T) in a generally stable environment such as their office or another station (dQ).
In the event that two Division Leaders exist in the same environment, this not only messes up entropy (S) but also their mental stability (T), which results in Things ******** Up (function (********>
Allan slowly digested what H was attempting to communicate as Rep talked a little. It wasn't exactly rocket science (or Division Leader science, see: above) to read the Sun Lead's facial expressions, which were a mix of perplexed, confused, slightly sad (like kicking a puppy) and then grateful, finally resolving to a strange sort of neutral stance that was in its own right, unpredictable.
"It is true," Allan finally nodded, easily consuming more energy than he was obviously providing at this moment, "It has been very difficult this year, for our nakama, for all of us. It is easy in these dark times to see only the darkness-"
And then all laws of Division Leader entropy balanced themselves just perfectly as the equivalent of a mental ray of light bursting at its seams seemed to dazzle the room as Allan struck a pose, his coat billowing in some unknown wind, his teeth shining just so (sparkling).
"-That is why in the face of despair you must shine even brighter! Therefore it is the code of men to never give up! H-kun! You are a man too! When the darkness overpowers you and is dark, you must remember it will only make your kokoro shine ever brighter in these moments of deep despair! Only then can you grow even stronger and one day become a true nakama! Believe in yourself and each other! Never give up because if you give up on yourself when you will fight for you!"
Why H was getting the rally pep speech and not Rep was another story on it's own.
At last, Allan turned to Rep. There was no sadness nor regret, H had not stated anything that the Sun lead did not already know, prompting perhaps once again exactly how much Allan actually knew and just didn't care about.
Somewhere else Caelius sneezed, once because of a cell phone text image he would see in a few hours that would send his phone careening off the second floor of the Main HQ to hit some hapless Life Hunter right in the head, and a second time because the burst of friendship and hope was seriously messing up his Division Leader entropy.
"Rep-kun! Your choice is always yours alone! Remember that you always can fight back and prove yourself as a man. Your kokoro belongs to noone, and when it is time, when you are ready as a man, then you can prove it to yourself and choose where you stand! Be proud no matter of your choices! I'll wait for you always!"
And once again somewhere else, Death lead sneezed a third time because he could practically tangibly feel that his 4:00pm appointment was going to involve conversations involving being a man, kokoros, over-proportionate hands, and speeches equivalent of someone talking entirely in farts (in his point of view).

The doctor just continued to smile, eyebrows raised expectantly, as if asking why they were still there.

Rep listened to Allan's every word with the same keen attentiveness he always did, taking the other redhead's rants with a certain degree of gravity. It was easy to see nothing but dark when it was all you faced, something he was learning lately without the crutch of his division pride to back him up.
He gave the sun lead a very earnest nod for his motivation, drawing from it exactly what he wanted to draw, that if he tried hard enough somehow, somewhere he'd earn his way back and that Allan would want him back if he ever did.
He hadn't expected H to keep him in the face of a free way to offload him back to Sun, and that too presented it's own questions. There were a great number of factors at work, and he wasn't about to demand to be let go when Simon's opinion was the same and when Life had offered him hospitality. All he could ultimately do was play it by ear and hope that circumstances as always would sweep him along to a more favourable place to be.
"Thank you sir." he said to Allan. "I'll do what I can to prove myself." His kokoro though, no matter how he tried to spin it, belonged and probably always would to Sun.
Tracey said.
He gave H a very anxious glance. "And, sorry to be a bother sir."
