Ruin nodded and lightly caressed Demoni with his snout. "And that my dear, is where you come in." He grinned evilly.
A WEEK LATER
Lacey snuck out again, this time she didn't plan to return. She knew that Ruin and Demoni were waiting for her, and this time she would go. They would train her and she would learn under their tutelage, and when she returned, she would be able to help momma and her cousins against the mean old Reth. She'd show him. Especially if he decided she was worth raising, as she had his horn and wings, but she wouldn't let him take her. She would fight him and show him just what he had missed out on and would never get.

Demoni sighed as he washed his hooves in a stream, watching a ribbon of crimson race away from him. Oh, that felt good. There would be no objection tonight from the light green colt; he'd be lucky if another peep ever left that maw of his. And now it was time to go manipulate his talented older sister. And since he was careful of the where and when the boy was beaten, there would be no connection to Demoni or Ruin. Drying his hooves, he trotted up the hill to where Ruin was waiting. "Everything's ready, Ru," he purred, draping a wing over the saddle of his fiery companion.

Ruin grinned and snuggled into Demoni's side for a split second before pulling away. Even though they had officially become mates, Ruin was still a free spirit, and still a roving male, and still an independent badass, and he didn't want others to see the small displays of affection he awarded to his close friend. He gestured over the hill just as Lacey came into view. She would soon be an adult, he could tell, and soon he would get his.
Lacey finished off the last bit of her trek at a fast canter, her wings helping her hover over the boulders and tree limbs that blocked her way. She grinned up at Demoni and Ruin as she stood before them. "I'm ready."

Demoni accepted the snuggle but didn't attempt to keep Ruin there when he pulled away; he knew the other male far too well to try. They were both too independent and too greedy to eliminate others in their search for offspring. And since Ruin had set his eyes on the lovely little filly that was soon to bloom, Demoni was going to do everything he could to assist in the seduction.
"Wonderful," he replied cheerfully to Lacey's confirmation that she was ready. "Then let us be off, shall we?" He waved a wing to gesture Lacey to fall into place next to Ruin, planning on taking up the rear to insure there would be no pursuers to taint the lovely little trip back to the south.

Ruin nodded, nuzzling the little filly before taking up the head of the troupe and leading the way to the south. "I am most glad and pleased that you changed your mind, Lacey Dearest." He said smoothly, his voice crackling like a warm comfortable fire.
Lacey nodded at the two as she followed them, tucking her wings in close to her body. "Thank you for giving me time to consider. Brother didn't really want me to go..." She said, her voice fading with the thought as sadness filled her heart. Why couldn't Delta see that this was the only way she could get the training she needed to stand up against Reth when he came?
Ruin looked back at Demoni before turning to the filly again. "You will be fine with us, Lacey. We will take good care of you, and he will understand why you had to come with us soon." he nodded.
Lacey sighed and was silent for a few moments, a most strange thing for the young filly. "How far are we going?" She asked./

Demoni smiled. "We have go a ways to the south. The desert's more suitable for training than here. The more difficult the terrain, the more effective the training," he replied to the filly's question, providing an explanation so he wouldn't have to in a minute. "And it's too easy for Ruin to accidentally start a fire here..." That should satisfy her naive little mind, right?

Lacey accepted that answer and followed them, a desiscion that would change her life course forever. A LITTLE MORE THAN A FEW MONTHS LATER Lacey woke up and uncurled herself from her sleeping position within Ruin and Demoni's cave. Her training had been going well, so well, in fact, that they told her she was almost finished with all they could teach her. She had grown in the months she'd been with the two demons, and she was now a full grown female mare. Her wings could now support her in vast heights, and she could run for miles without stopping. She was strong and beautiful, just as she had always hoped to be. But no longer was she as naive to think that the two demons didn't want something from her in return, and today, she figured, was the day she would find out what they expected of her.

 Demoni smiled as he glanced towards the cave, able to see the stretch of Lacey's wings as she got up. "Looks like it's time, Ru," he purred. "I suggest you go tell her, hmm? She likes you much better than I." Of course, that had been intentional; Ruin clearly had an eye on the mare, even before she blossomed. And Lacey had, in turn, adored him. The payment would feel less like payment if it was paid to Ruin. "I'll be here if you need me." Which Demoni doubted; Ruin was just as good at seduction as he was, and with how long he'd been working on Lacey... he doubted there'd be many--if any--problems.

 Ruin grinned before he left his mate, gesturing for Lacey to follow him on a walk in the sandy lands that lay before his home, it was there that he gave her his repayment option, and there that, with more hesitance than Ruin would've like, she agreed. They both returned an hour or so later, Lacey being excused from training for the day, curled up in her sleeping spot to think. She missed her brother, very much so, and her mother, and her cousins and Pluto... oh her best friend Pluto.. She wondered what he was like... what he and Delta would say to the deal she had just made with the devil. What would her mother think? Ruin wandered over to Demoni's usual 'grazing' spot, dragging a well burnt and killed carcass for his dear mate to consume with him. He preened himself before nipping at Demoni's withers, obviously in a good mood.

Demoni smiled as he ripped off a hunk of the carcass, chewing and swallowing it before nipping playfully back at his mate. "I take it the talk went well?" he said, a bit of teasing in his voice. Obviously it had. And obviously, Lacey had accepted the proposal. If things went well, it was possible that they'd even be able to chain her to this place, using the fear of her family's rejection as kindle to add to the flame. Oh, they'd created such beautiful chaos this time...

Ruin grinned and slid his side along Demoni's as he reached down and tore off a chunk of meat, chewing it befoer turning back to his mate. "Fabulously. Soon we shall have little ones to cause chaos.. and then we can work on ours..." He grinned wickedly/

A wide grin spread across Demoni's maw. His wing draped over Ruin's saddled back, the claw hooking on the chain bridle. "I'm looking forward to it, darling," he purred, nibbling at the stallion that was even more appetizing than the meal in front of them. "Mmm... and if she sticks around, she'll be a wonderful ally. I'm sure if we could insure her revenge, she wouldn't mind the thought too much..." After all, she was loyal enough to Ruin to agree to bear his children. Maybe that was part of the reason Ruin was so pleased; the others who'd born his children hadn't had an ounce of loyalty in them--and it was reflected in Ruin's sons. This time, though...

Ruin grinned and lightly pushed back at Demoni's side. "I have high expectations of this breeding, Demoni. These children are going to be worth everything, and with their help I can finally get Paimon and Huel to either follow me or be destroyed." he grinned and flicked his tail, leaving a trail of heat in its wake.

"Of course it will, Ruin. I don't doubt your ability to spot potential." Finding potential mates that would produce superior offspring was something that Ruin was good at. Developing that potential was Demoni's. If Lacey did end up leaving, even temporarily, the demon was sure to take the role of caretaker. After all, Ruin wasn't one for affection over what was necessary. Demoni... he enjoyed doing a bit of lavishing on young charges. Lacey, of course, had been the exception, since it wouldn't do for her to like him over Ruin. Demoni hadn't had near as much interest as his mate did in the mare. "It will be a wonderful day indeed," he murmured. A wide grin spread across his own face. "Mmm... you're making me excited." Which could be good or bad, depending who you were. The dark muses in his head seemed to work better when he was excited...
