Why was it, he had to ask himself, that whenever he wished to escape as far as possible from someone they always had free time? Or perhaps it was just that sort of person who tended to have free time. It was hard to say. Because as it was, he still had the problem named Muka before him. Smiling happily as he prompted him to speak up, or perhaps just read a book. One they hadn't brought with them sadly. "Perhaps... a topic then?" He wasn't going to spout off about everything he'd read in the last week. That would be rather troublesome, but if it was a more closed request of information disclosure he could manage. At least enough to placate the fellow.
Maybe bore him enough to wander off? But wouldn't that leave the books back up for abuse again? A double edged sword... "Or choose a book?" Somehow he thought he might live to regret sort of agreeing to this.iloveyouDIE And he gives up and just agrees to it. Because Muka is a glorious creeper wall.

"Ah yes! We will be the best of frieeends!" Muka hooted happily and plucked a book of the cart of a passing library aide. What he'd grabbed apparently was called Medieval Wars of the Drow Dynasties. Muka didn't know what a drow was.. or what their wars were like but he was sure it would be exciting. Wars were exciting right? "Here you go!!" He sidled super close and thrust the book into Molan's hands. Raja XDD feel free to fast forward or.. whatever if he really decides to read

Someday- someday Muka would have great success in terrifying small children. Leaving them permanently scared. Just with his rather joyous, friendly, nature. Because it would happen. That much, Molan was sure of. Sadly, at the moment, he was the one being happily doted on by the monster as he found a book shoved into his hands following his comment. In truth, he was still regretting not walking away. Quickly.
Why, oh why, had he wondered about who was making a mess of the books? Still, at least it was a non-fiction. Actually it could prove interesting if it went over the intricacies of what was the original cause for the war and primary driving factors. Actually, now he was a bit curious...
"Well..." He flipped through the book a bit, not bothering to comment heavily on the statement. Best not to argue with someone who wasn't really listening. He'd probably fall asleep anyway. Because as soon as he spotted the section, Molan did take to calmly reading the section explaining the political reasons behind the entire events. It was interesting if you cared about the nonsense, boring otherwise. Which, was truly up to opinion. It probably didn't help that the demon was keeping his voice as monotone as possible, and quiet, while reading. He wasn't one to break rules, even if some of this was fascinating. If not bizarre.
Really, it didn't matter what Muka decided to do, he was going to finish this section.iloveyouDIE Muka you fool, giving a politicians son something about politics. Even if he actually wants no part of it. neutral a Also sorry. Slower than slow. /fails

He'd really wanted to hear it. Really. Except what sounded very entertaining, war and whatnot, had turned into a dissertation on political motivations. Muka stared and listened. And stared and listened. And listened with his eyes closed... and then dozed off. Of course he'd lolled slightly to lean his head onto Molan's shoulder and then after a few minutes his silent sleeping turned into a soft vibrating hum as he cooed in his sleep.

"So she used such an underhanded tactic to -" Molan was merely mumbling under his breath, having stopped reading aloud some time after a lump had hit his shoulder. Something that displeased him greatly, it really did, but was lessened in needing to be handled by the fact he had something fascinating to study.
One man's boredom was unique tale for another. Still, he'd finished the section at this point, and his eyes fell to one side at the cooing thing. If not for the fact Muka was, in fact, a rather gloriously creepy fellow, the noise might have been considered adorable. But he was Muka, a monster with a demon father that he didn't want to cross. Which meant... dealing with him. But that didn't include potentially letting him slobber on his shoulder while he slept.
"Wake up." His voice was firm as he closed the book and lifted a hand to shake the monster. "I am not a headrest, and I most certainly don't appreciate being used like one."

His wings rustled and Muka made a clacking noise with his teeth as he dozed. When Molan nudged him, he slid slooooowly off of the other boil's shoulder until he was slumped with his chin on his chest and his belly keeping him from falling too far forward. He didn't wake up. Raja he can probably leave him here XD

...out cold? He watched as there was little to no response short of a clattering of teeth from the bird-like monster as he slowly began to inch off and slumped into himself. Classy. Truly.
Yes, Molan was not impressed. He paused, staring briefly at Muka before musing for a moment. Then looked back at the book on the desk a moment.
...well he could escape in a few minutes. Maybe after a few more pages. So with that he plucked up the book and took to silently reading juuuust a few more chapters. He'd be long gone before Muka woke up mostly likely though. Loooong gone. With no trace to follow. Because really, he didn't want any birds following him home.
 iloveyouDIE We can count it done I think. OvO But it was fun. PS Molan will cringe upon seeing Muka, you realize that, right? XD
