He eyed her for a moment slowly nodding. "She has found some peace but the past..it is hard for her to cope wit but in time i am sure..she will be even happier knowing she did overcome it" He never knew why he had no real bonds with his siblings. His mother felt like a sister to him in a way and all he had were brothers. He sighed to himself thinking of his broken family two sides with there own beliefs and ways. There was no way to fix the past what was done there was no changing or mending it. He did not know why it had to happen why the family had to form clear sides and divide. His mother just did not want anything to do with them and perhaps it was for the best.

"I am glad you found hope in the world..through your siblings and family..i am sure they have done many things for you..things i wish i could do now..to provide and to help you..I would like the chance to do more than they have..even if i am still not worthy in your eyes.." he looks at her again not swayed to leave her not one bit. "I would like to meet them someday..thank them for taking care of you..thank them for taking care of someone with such a good heart.." he shakes his head at the mention of his brothers "There is no hope for me to make a bond with them..they are hardly ones to talk and are stubborn. the time for making bonds is long past.."

He would not give up on this mare not now or ever. He would seek her out and even if it took him forever he would get to know her. Be able to share his feelings with her and everything he kept inside. She would not be able to make him leave so easily and the more she fought back the harder he would try. He had made up his mind and he would not let the spirits or her..stop him from anything. "You dont have to let me..i have already let myself there is no going back from that..i never break a promise and i promise..i will always be there for you through whatever happens..please Hisako stop putting yourself down saying your not worthy..im the one who is not worthy for you..yet im trying.." he looks down at the ground unable to talk face to face. "I find you more than likeable..if i get punished for this i will gladly take it..i will never leave you even if i have to face the worst of demons..i will not be pushed away by your words..if you run i will follow..if you hide..i will find you..You can have happiness i am offering it to you..i will not back down no matter what i must face i dont care..all i care for is you..you feel what i feel you said it yourself..please stop pushing me away as if i am worthless ..i know i am.." he gets emotional at this and buries his head in his wing the other one still around her. "We can break the curse..this bond can break anything..and what if your traits do pass on? we will teach those foals there is nothing in the world that can stop them..that they are unique and were born from a bond that cant be broken..i do not fear that i welcome it..you are not a curse..to me you are a gift..a goal and a challenge.." he kept going even if she ran he would follow and he would never give up on this..cursed romance a forbidden goal. "Stop talking yourself down!! please..i cant stand it..your hurting me more than yourself..im sorry but its only the truth..being with you will bring greatness and i want that to happen..to us..im right here yet you push me away..i am offering everything in truth and you still cant see i mean my words.." he did not mean to yell but he cant stand hearing her think so little of herself. She was a gift to this world and yet she talks as if she is only an ant to be crushed by some other being. "Now..lets find that shelter.." he manages to compose himself and slowly starts moving again his wing tight around her determined to prove his worth to her. "I will prove to you..i meant everything i said..and more.."

In a moment the sheer terror of what he said sunk in, eyes wide and fearful as her head quickly snapped back from his neck to stare him in the eyes; despite him trying to look away. "You're not worthless, or unworthy!" She paniced, having not meant that in the slightest and felt her heart race that he would even fathom her thinking such nonsense. "You're more than I could ever desire...its just...." No, really, more excuses would come out on why he shouldn't, why he should seek another mare who was prettier, not broken and diseased. However as his emotions played out in front of her the little mare was left speechless, mouth slightly agape as her mind whirled with a hundred questions.

It boiled down to whether she listened to her lonely and scarred heart, of the logic of her mind.

Even as he yelled, only in a moment of weakness and pain at her pushing her worth lower and lower into the proverbial dirt; the mare's eyes began to sting with hot tears; slipping down her face as she tightened her jaw. "Why..." She nearly hissed, feeling her chest tighten as her head hung down slightly - eyes pressed close. "Why are you making this so hard?" Perhaps it was an odd question to say when someone was confessing such heartfelt emotions but the mare couldn't help it. She was used to pain, loneliness, and sorrow when she was not with her family...all of this affection, promise of happy days and dare she say it...the possibility of love really be...okay for someone like her? "I just don't want you to suffer, I don't wish this on anyone." Of course she talked of her curse, she didn't know if it had the ability to be passed to someone else....her family seemed unaffected but what of him, and surely children.... "There is a difference, between different, and passing on a life of pain. Don't get me wrong, life is precious, but the pain some days is nearly unbearable..."

Finally she broke down, a choked breath before the mare sobbed, leaning into him as she tried to take slow steps with him as they sought shelter. Never, ever did she think it was possible...yet here this stallion was, defying all she thought about her life. He wanted to stand beside her, meet her family, spend an endless amount of days with her. Maybe she was dreaming?

"Alright...." She sniffled, trying to compose herself but was having a hard time stopping her tears from falling still; leaning up into him as she kept her head ducked under his wing. "I wont try and stop you....I'll try. Just know...its hard for me to believe it all....not you, but this kind of thing I wrote off so long ago." Her eyes, despite red from tears, lit up just a little as if she was smiling. "Thank you...Titan. For everything you've said....and what you feel - about me."

He was staring off into the distance feeling better than he ever had. How could he feel so good after deyfing his purpose? He felt as if he could fly again having not done so for quite a while. He felt as if anything was possible if he just believed in it. He looks back at her and sees she is looking at his intently and he wonders what her thoughts and feelings are. "Im not worthless..? Neither are you.." he nods and becomes silent thinking about his words carefully choosing what he should say next. She was afraid to love him to like him..he could tell from the way she acted. To let yourself break the rules was hard to do he should know.

He was eyeing her still and noticed her crying and he gently whipes her tears away. "There is no reason to cry..I do not want to make things hard on you but..i am just speaking the truth..the truth leads you to tears but please dont cry..you will hurt yourself..with your own tears" he smiles at her "Are these tears of sadness..or of joy..?" he knew this was real he felt it even more now that the right choice had been made. "I will not suffer and neither will you.." he has a feeling deep down that those words are true. He would seek forever if he could find a cure to her pain. "I will find some way..to help you..to take your pain away..forever..to mend what this curse had taken from you..when the pain goes away i will be happy.." he is still in his thoughts before he notices the rain had stopped and the sun was starting to peek out through the clouds.

"The rain has stopped..the sun is welcoming us.." he smiles wide at her now hearing she will let distanty do its word. "Thank you..for not stopping me..i will prove to you this really is meant to be..this is also hard for me to beleive..i will prove you are right.." he nods at her his wings still over her even though there is no rain. She is still leaning on his and he keeps smiling "I cant..stop smiling..:" he looks at her a grin stuck on his face and when he tries to frown the smile comes right back. "There is no need to thank me..i might as well give my thanks to you to though..for trusitng me..thank you for no longer putting yourself down..my feelings are true.." he laughs then and puts his face to hers softly not wanting to hurt her he advoids the senstive part of her face. "My feelings will always be true.."

"I can't...help it..." The mare let out a shuddering breath, wincing a little as even though he had brushed some of her tears away a few soaked the bandages down her snout to give her a sting on her wounds. "I know...they are a little of both to be honest. My mind is so frayed right now, all over the place. It'll get better though, I know it will." Looking up her eyes shined slightly, cheeks tensing as inside...she was smiling from her heart. As he spoke of helping her with the pain, her heart clenched slightly in her chest; knowing deep down in her soul that there was surly nothing that could take away the pain, or give her back her flesh.

It was touching though that he wanted to try, so she said nothing to dampen his resolve.

Looking up as she had not noticed the rain had stopped she tilted her head only slightly to see the morning sun peek through the clouds in the horizon. "Its morning already..." She said in bewilderment, the night along with the storm had passed and it seemed bright beginnings were on the horizon. Slowly she could feel the effects of her emotions, the storm and the events of the night take a toll as the mare was tired; yawning gently. Once Titan had pressed his cheek against hers she felt the heat rise in her face in the form of a blush. Leaning her face into his she let out a small breath, relieved. "My heart wont stop fluttering..."

With the new light of day she could see a small thicket amongst some thick growing bushes and vines; more than enough to fit the two of them. "Look there..." She motioned with her head, slowly drawing herself out from his wing's embrace and over into the thicket. It was still mostly dry in there as she slowly and very carefully thanks to her leg dropped down to lay before looking back to him. "We can rest here, before continuing on once it gets darker?" She was very much a nocturnal mare for well...obvious reasons.

"Then let your feelings out..it is always better to express what you feel rather than trying to hold everything in..Tears of both sadness and of joy.." he looks into the distance wondering what is the joy and what was the sadness. For him the joy was meeting her and figuring out his own purpose. His sadness was that she did not want to believe he would be there for her. Having no one and then all of a sudden having a stranger care for you. That was truly something but here was proof that it could happen. "I know things will get better..just as you do.." he smiles nodding her happiness only making his mood brighter. "There is a bright future for you out there..for us..we can make it happen..i know we will.."

He looks up at the sky then her words true. "How fast does time go by..when there is a meaning to life..The sun is shining on us..giving us new hope..and new goals..ones we would never have believed.." he looks back at her and then notices they had been up all night without sleep. He did not want to sleep he did not think he could. His mind and heart were racing and he did not know how he ever would rest. He saw her yawn though and knew they should find someplace to rest. "My mind wont stop racing..my heart feels the same way,..as if it could burst from happiness..jump out from within me and dance.." he laughs at the thought and keeps his face to hers.

His attention is drawn to the place she gestures to. He pulls his wings in as she starts to walk over to the area of shelter. He nods at her and follows before laying down next to her his head on his leg. "We will need rest for whatever lies beyond..you might make a nigh being out of me.." he smirks and laughs not minding. "I welcome the night for i to prefer it to the day..the night always gave me more time to myself..more time to think..I do not mind adjusting..I see a bright future ahead.." he looks over to her before closing his eyes his mind wandering.

Future...it had been something Hisako only felt possible in her dreams; to have the same ambitions and dreams as normal mares. However she wrote that part of her future as just that...a wistful dream. To have such possibilities open up to her in but an evening, she found her eyes watching him and studying everything that made Titan well...him. Hisako was willing to take that chance, to allow her heart to open and love as if she was just another mare; to have the strong love she had for her family for someone outside that small safe circle. She didn't know when that day would come when she could let him know from the depths of her soul she loved him completely...but she was sure if it was true that it would happen and there was plenty of time.

"Well I hope it doesn't...I wouldn't want to lose you after but a single night." She joked, tilting her head with a soft chuckle as she was sure only zombies could live without their heart secured in their chest. Another yawn escaped her jaws as the warmth radiated from her side as he laid down beside her; resting his head on his leg. "I can compromise too...I just find it hard being out in the mid day sun...makes me sweat and well it hurts my wounds. Perhaps we can wake just before sunset; and lay to rest in the latter morning?" What a beautiful notion though, to see both sunrise and sunset in the same waking time. Laying her head tentatively on his leg as well she closed her eyes, feeling her body slip away into slumber. "Goodnight...." She breathed, before slipping fully into her subconscious.

______________________________That Evening

When Hisako had awoke that evening the sun had already pressed down just so beyond the mountains. Opening her eyes she rolled her shoulders a little to get some of the kinks out before looking to her side, eyes softening as she could see Titan was still beside her...not that she had doubted; it was just something she wasn't used to since her foal hood and sleeping amongst her siblings. She was careful to get up quietly in case he was still sleeping; slipping out of the thicket to stretch her legs and wings out; the cool breeze of the night a welcome feeling against her ebony hair.

Closing her eyes to the breeze she spent a moment or two relaxing till she caught something on the wind; a very faint smell....but a smell none the less. Opening her eyes back up she looked around; wondering what such a scent was as she'd never quite caught something like that before.

He was content now he had everything he could ever ask for. A goal and a dream that was all he ever wanted. He had to chase them it seemed endlessly but now he had purpose. He trusted her and would follow for however long he could. He had hopes that they could become close and love one another forever. It seemed there was a potential for that but only time would tell. He already liked her and she liked him in time he knew his feelings would only grow.

He looks up and smiles at her. "I do not think it would..I would not like to see what happens" he rests his head again gazing out of the shelter into the clearing. What a spot this was hidden away and so breathtaking now that he could see without the rain. "I look forward to the sunset then.." he was allowing him to sleep and he felt her rest on his leg and smiled to himself hardly catching her goodnight before he was out.

It was a nice night he was walking through the woods but he felt something following him. He turned around to see nothing and pushed the feeling off. He kept thinking there was something there though and he turned around to see a ghostly figure behind him. Slowly turning to face the figure he can make out the features of a stallion. He is standing there watching him before he nods and is blown away by the wind.

Eyes quickly opening he sits up before remembering where is is and relaising it was only a dream. He knew the meaning of the dream the spirits approved now for some reason. They did not come to his dreams often but now that he thought about it the same thing had happened before. He shook his head smiling to himself before glancing over to his side. "I hope you slept well.." he gets up and then notices Hisako is not there panic starts to fill him but he pushes that away and calmly walks into the clearing. He sees her then and smiles knowing she would not have just left him there.

"How was your sleep..? Have any dreams..? The spirits approve of my actions now.." he walks up to her and there standing side by side. He notices something though the forest is to quiet and he smells something but he is not sure what it is. He keeps smiling but worry forms in the back of his mind. He wondered if Hisako could tell something was wrong as well.

Flicking her ears around first as she caught sounds coming from behind her the mare turned her head and smiled as the smell was briefly forgotten in her much appreciated company. "Good Evening, Titan." She spoke softly, a warmth in her tone which wasn't there the night before. The rest really did the mare well to clear her head, rest her body and start anew.

"My sleep? It was well, i'm afraid I didn't! I think I was too overtired from the weather to really fall into dreamland." Hisako smiled sheepishly, before feeling her skins light up in a heated flush. "Do they...?" She didn't quite get what he was saying, but she was a little relieved as she surly didn't want him to be punished for anything to do with her. She was taken away by the smells of the land, so fresh after last eve's storm. But there it was again, that strange smell which caused the hairs on her spine to raise, she couldn't see any trace of something sinister....but the feeling she was currently engrossed in was too strong to ignore.

However as she looked to Titan and his smiling face, she chalked it off as maybe she was just being too concerned and wrote it off. "Hey! How about we go get something to eat? This area isn't too far from my homeland so I know some early season berries which must be ready by now." She turned around, away from where she had smelt the strange scent and nudged him with her wing to go the opposite direction. It was getting darker as the sun was already slipping behind the mountains, and even though it might have just been cautionary....she didn't want to stick around for the real darkness in this area.

He grinned at her and looked to the sky watching the clouds. It was a nice change of pace for him to be able to enjoy little things like the weather and not worry. "It is a good evening indeed.." he was happy now content with the way things were going. To him the puzzle was starting to solve itself and he was glad for that.

"You slept well but you had no dreams..You were to tried to dream.." he nods at her "i think that is what my dream was telling me..i wish i could know for sure.." he could only guess the meaning of his strange dream. How would he know if they were mad or if they were happy? He was deep in thought wondering what it all meant. Being brought back to the present he noticed how green the land was. Rain did wonders for nature and for the wildlife that lived in it.

He noticed that faint smell again though but pushed it off. It was something they did not need to worry about. "Something to eat..? I would like that my stomach is complaining.." his ears go back "Berries..? Homeland..? It all sounds good to me.." he smiles again and when nudged by her starts to walk the other way. "The sunset is always quite a thing to see.." he keeps walking making sure to stick xlose to her.

"Perhaps the mystery is part of the adventure?" She offered, a small tilt of her head indication that she would have given him a small smile - but it was evident in the way her eyes danced with the lights of the sunset. As she remained quiet for a moment as he confessed he was hungry and the gurgles of his stomach she giggled only slightly. "I can hear your hunger from here." Reaching her wing out tenderly she gave his shoulder a nudge, keeping her eyes on him. "There are lots of berries, so you'll be able to get your fill."

Yet the more the thought about it as they walked the more she worried, thinking on her family. How would they react to Titan? Her brother surely would not be very impressed; his near manic desire to protect had her worried he would take this the wrong way. She liked Titan...it was safe to say he had the capability to be much more than a friend with time but...her heart ached. She didn't want to upset her family...or bring Titan into danger.

Danger....what of her father? Oh dear...she'd gravely forgotten about him...she really would have to be on her guard - she didn't want daddy to try and eat him.

She'd just have to keep him safe and hope for the best, that bridge would be crossed when they arrived. Blinking as he spoke up again she looked over to the sun slowly slipping behind the mountains, feeling her features relax and the beautiful sight sink into her mind. "It is...so beautiful. There really is nothing like those bright colors. Its perfect." The mare breathed out, entranced by such a sight till she looked ahead. "Yeah...my homeland. It's....not all its cracked up to be. It wont be very....well safe for you - right off the bat." However, she loved her family...they were still capable of dark things. She only hoped she could get them to see things her way about Titan.

"Yes i can see that..adventure is always full of mystery..and a mystery is always an adventure.." he smiles at her enjoying the moment. He could tell just by her eyes the way she felt. Even though she was missing part of her face he could still connect and feel the same way she did. He would never run from her of course if he wanted to run he would have. No she was a mystery and he wanted to figure her out and never leave. "I can tell your happy..by the way your eyes shine ..it takes skill to know that" he offers a small laugh hoping she would get his little joke. He wanted to make her laugh to give her everything she ever wanted. He loved the way she laughed so joyful and carefree.

"I guess i should tell me stomach to quiet down.." he felt her nudge him and put out his wing to touch hers. Eyes her the entire time and nodding. "Lets got find those berries..before my stomach eats itself.." He just could not keep his mind off her and her family. He wanted to meet them and in time he hoped he would get the chance. Even if they rejected him or truend him away he would not leave. If they attacked him or threatened his life still he would not leave. He cared enough for her that he would give his life if it did mean saving her if his love could live on. He wanted to show her he really would do anything for her. He was drawn from his thoughts by her voice and eyed the clouds turning colors.

"I agree..it is such a nice night to be out..it is more than perfect..I wish i could gather a cloud and give it to you..perhaps if you would like to fly sometime..i will give you your own cloud" he grins at her a laughs softly. "I will give you whatever you desire..i wish to do that.." he thought about her words "Well even if it is not the best i am sure..that your homeland is beautiful.."

"My eyes...?" The mare felt taken back, her ears twisting backwards as she wasn't quite sure just how to respond to that. Since when had anyone looked into her eyes when all they could see what was mere centimeters below; shining like a beacon of light with its chilling ivory essence. Dare she say many couldn't look past her leg and face, even the wings on her back did little to deter the assumption of monster and beast....even if they realized how frail she was it would do little to change their thoughts anyways. Never had she imagined someone would try and read her through those proclaimed 'window's of the soul' to see what she was feeling on the inside, unable to express with her face. "I didn't think anyone could do that..." Her soft voice breathed out, even as his wing gently pressed against one of her own.

"We better....I don't think I could carry you if you were to faint...no offense." And really, she meant none. However she'd try, if it came to it at the risk of breaking her leg under the weight!

"A cloud?" Hisako echoed, her eyes floating up to the skies above. She knew her species could easily fly up to the heavens, beyond the clouds thanks to the extra set of winds adorning her backside. It never really dawned on her to try though, she assumed with some of the muscle loss she was merely incapable of doing so. "Do you think they taste good?" In truth, she didn't give much thought about anything truly profound in the world around her. She figured her life would revolve around wandering, her family, and trying to cope with her disease the best she could in hopes it wouldn't take her life too early. "Sometime, would be nice to fly with you....I need to work more on my landings though, its pretty dangerous as I could well...really break my leg." She'd flown a number of times, but never without one of her family members there to help her in case she got into trouble on the way down. Yet once again she couldn't help her blushing cheeks as they walked closer and closer to the berry patch. "What I desire...." She thought about, before ducking her head a little lower so her hair flopped over her eyes. "I've always wanted to feel....normal. I feel that way with you....so really....I just desire to be with you; right now."
