And just like before, she was being smacked like a doll. Stormy yelped something half garbled between languages as she struggled to pry it off with the greatsword, wishing she could be consistent in her fighting skill for once.

Lucky's warning allowed her time to dodge the brunt of the attack, though she was still sliding about on the wet rock. At least this time she was able to cut it this time.
"Keep on your toes!" she replied most helpfully, the sound of her voice echoing dimly.

"Umierać!" The sawblade cleaved straight through the shadowy shape, coming unstuck with a slight amount of trouble. That shadow thing was almost solid, despite its appearances.

Her partner began growling in satisfaction as the runic lettering lit up on her weapon. Knowing they didn't have much time left, Stormy turned to the life hunter and called out, "Bronić mnie proszę! Hold it off if you can, Puppy! I'm gonna try something and it's gonna be dicey."
Only adrenaline and the desperation to move on would have her so willingly consider the charge.

With a small cry the mist trainee ran at the monster and released the charge . . . only the explosive acid never got released. Thane cursed something in Draconic as Stormy fell forward with the swing of the momentum, battered by the monster until she was tossed back, her shield completely gone. Lucky would have to drag her out, though she'd be terribly grateful all the way for his help.

Embarassed and hoping to not be a burden (hell, she was surprised Lucky kept bringing her along, patient guy), Stormy stepped in after the green haired hunter - and promptly the shadow thing was back.
It was like it just knew when she arrived on the scene to greet her personally.
