Ok now this island he could have sworn he'd been at before. He paused, wondering about the possibility he was on to something by showing up here again.
And yet... no... this didn't seem right. He gave it one last glance over his shoulder before he left. Not before he heard a faint, strange noise in the distance, which only served to make him leave faster.

For some reason Stormy decided to peak in the portal next to the one he had just gone through because previous experience hadn't at all already told her it was a bad idea.
She lasted maybe three seconds before noping out of there.
The trainee whined softly as she touched her head to Lucky's arm with a sigh, feeling drained as her shield became close to frying completely.

God this island was starting to give him the creeps more than hanging around a Halloween forest was.

And then at last, at the very last second, moments before their shields gave out and they'd have to pendant out, the portal appeared.
Like a man in the desert looking for water, the oasis drew her in magnetically, the trainee all but ghosting through with a sigh of relief - even if it meant splashing into the water face-first.
Thank God.

The air in Halloween had been gradually growing more abrasive. Like sandpaper, wearing away at him, practically touching his skin. He reached for the pendant hidden under his coat, wondering if perhaps they'd already waited too long --
But the portal opened, and he stumbled onto another sandy beach. Clear blue water seemed to go on for miles around them. Lucky peered downward into the water. He could almost see the edges of a cavern... a huge entrance, carved and detailed, too much to be mere chance.
"Er.... do you..." He pantomimed. "Svim?"

The gurgling noise could have been a yes. At least she wasn't panicking?
Just give her a moment to cool down after all those beach visits. =3=
