Zack chuckled as the little dog gently nibbled at the biscuit Mark had allowed it, Shaking his head with a smirk Zack looked up at Sparrow "Sparrow and Mark" he nodded "nice to meet you guys" he grinned, he had always wondered what it would be like to fly, "Hm I don't have that problem too much" he shrugged "though these tend to turn a few heads" he chuckled as he pointed at the two red triangles on his face.

Looking up into the boughs of the tree he smiled softly, the rain was nice "I like storms too" he nodded quietly "I don't know, they just feel good you know" he asked as he glanced over at his dog, who was busy snuffleing around mark, confused of the boys new appereance

The dog barked excitedly as Mark changed, shape shifting was clearly new to the little dog, running round in circles the dog barked happily once again. Pausing himself Zack frowned "mrh you've got a point" he muttered "still, it beats roasting to death in the sun" he shrugged as he pulled himself to his feet "listen I know a place we can go if you like" he nodded "it's not exactly a five star hotel, but it'll get us out of the rain" he smiled warmly "plus there's more than enough room for the lot of us" he chuckled as he wiped the mud off his hands, at Zack's movement the little dog stopped playing and obediently ran to his feet and barked twice "yeah yeah I know" Zack muttered to the animal "so erm yeah" he began again as he looked up "want to get out of this storm" he smiled

Cocking his head slightly Zack shrugged "it's not in the town" he nodded "I found it the other night, some old mineshaft thing" he chuckled "it's pretty cool down there actually" he sighed as he slid back down the tree into a seating position "But sure thing, I was only offering" he nodded with a small smile. The little dog curled up on his lap and poked at his arm with his nose, Zack rolled his eyes and began to gently stroke behind the dogs ear "You guys said you were meeting up with an X-man" he said casually "Which one is it" he asked with a ghost of a smile, somewhere above them the clouds rumbled, Zack yawned and shook his head, as much as he enjoyed the rain, sleeping in it was a nightmare

Jumping to his feet Zack smiled "alright then, lets get out of this rain" he chuckled as he tucked the dog into his coat "it's not too far from here either" he nodded with an odd sense of excitement, as if he were a child about to show off a new toy. Stretching he smiled softly "Jubilee" he nodded "yeah I remember her, she's pretty cool" he yawned as he kicked some mud off his shoes, slipping a glance at Sparrow he hid a concerned frown "Hasn't picked a side" he commented casually "interesting" he smirked "well anyway, politics can wait till we're out of this storm" he said as he waved away the point "lets go, we can be there in about ten minutes" he nodded

Despite the arguing Zack couldn't help a laugh "Come on don't make me break you two apart" he teased the pair of them as he led the way through the trees "You guys been together long then" he asked as he paused momentarily and sniffed the air before continuing on "or did you only meet the other day or something" he asked as he changed direction ever so slightly, every few hundred meters he would pause, sniff the air quietly, and change his course slightly

Zack shook his head and chuckled "And they say chivalry is dead" he teased as he led the way forward, presently the group came to a small opening in the ground "tah dahhhh" Zack grinned as he stood on the edge "well this is it, it opens up a little when we get down" he nodded as he peered over the edge, the hole fell through a good way before ending in a pool of deep rainwater "I'll see you down there" Zack grinned as he took a tight hold on the dog in his jacket and stepped off the edge, he fell straight down into the water with a large splash before resurfacing and laughing "how's that for easy entrance" he chuckled as he let the dog go, hauling himself out onto the dry land he smiled up at the pair "come on, apart from that pool it's pretty dry down here" he smiled

Zack busied himself around the surprisingly spacious cave, though one of the tunnels had flooded, creating the pool Mark now swam happily around in, the cave was mostly dry and sheltered, in the furthest corner, under a few wooden beams, Zack had made a makeshift camp, he turned on a small stove and prepared a pot of soup "shouldn't take long" he nodded as he put it on to heat, each move he made was done without any hesitation, as if he had done them thousands of times before, turning back to max he chuckled "yeah it's pretty neat, almost broke my neck finding this place though" he admitted sheepishly, looking upwards to the roof of the cave he paused "the fires over there and that soup should be done soon" he nodded "just take it easy you know" he smiled as water dripped freely from him "i'll be back in a second" he mentioned as he ran at the cave wall, kicking off it he pulled himself up the wall masterfully before rolling back up into the rain, standing up he dusted himself down and looked up at Sparrow "come on don't spend the night out here" he said, a slight tone of worry in his voice "you'll catch your death of cold" the boy added as he wiped some of the water from his face "plus there's food cooking, at least come in for that" he mentioned

Within the cave Zack's dog barked once at Mark before curling up next to him in the warmth of the fire, letting loose a small yawn the dog murmured and moved closer to Mark.

Zack sighed and leant against the tree "ew" he muttered "how morbid" he said with a small smirk "so what's flying like anyway" he said as he turned him eyes towards her wings "Is it a rush" he asked, a look of mischivious curiosity in his eyes
