The stranger attacks Chalcedony.
He needs a 19 to hit.

(15 +6) /2 = 10.5 dmg
Chalcedony receives 10.5 dmg!
This dance they were playing would have to come to an end soon, and the man facing Chalcedony would make sure it did one way or another. He struck out at Chalcedony with his blades, going on the offensive. Chalcedony would have a hard time blocking this one, or at least the man was trying to make it more difficult than it had been.

Chalcedony attacks The Stranger
Chalcedony needs: 10 + 5 = 15 to HIT The Stranger
Chalcedony's attack: 7 + 4 = 11, misses
Chalcedony's Dmg: (?? + 4)/4 = ?? dmg
The strangers blades cut into Chalcedony this time around, digging in deep despite his attempts to dodge... but he didn't even blink, ignoring the pain, continuing forward in the battle. He wasn't going to let pain stop him, he'd keep going, keep swinging. The man he was facing was quick though, sliding out of the way once more of his attack. It was a frustrating thing, to miss time and again, but maybe there was still hope, maybe Isa would escape while he was keeping this kidnapping, Leaf Tribe jerk busy. The more he was around this tribe the less and less he liked them, finding that he almost preferred the Alkidike to them. At least their methods were straight forward, they didn't go around kidnapping people to his knowledge.
Taking a couple steps backwards the man planted a foot, lifted his shield, and prepared for whatever it was that the stranger was going to do next. It was likely that he meant to cut him to shreds with those weapons of his, something he had to try to avoid at all costs if possible. Given his luck so far though he wasn't sure how this battle might end, likely with him dying in some foreign lands at the hands of a member of a rather untrustworthy tribe of thieves and kidnappers. Shaking his head to clear such thoughts he prepared for the next attack.

The man continued to bombard Chalcedony with attacks, one after another. Chalcedony's shield could only hold back so much with someone who was agile and with multiple weapons such as this stranger.
The man's voice echoed through the space they were standing in. "Are you going to fight back Chalcedony?" His voice was like a boom and was meant to antagonize Chalcedony. He pushed his blades forward, launching himself once again at Chalcedony.

The man's swords cut once more into Chalcedony's flesh as he found himself unable to dodge nearly well enough to avoid them. He was astonishingly, and annoyingly fast he thought to himself, lifting his free hand to rub it against one of the deeper cuts. As the man set to mocking him Chalcedony gave a hissing sound, "Don't think to mock me, Leaf Tribesman! At least I am not a coward who kidnaps children!" He spat out, finding his anger and distaste at the man and his tribe growing by the moment. He had no idea what he'd done to seem to be cursed by the Leaf Tribe but he didn't much care for it or them. Thieves, all of them.
Lifting his shield, which seemed a little heavier due to the blood he was losing, Chalcedony took another swing at the man's smirking face but once more seemed to just miss, something that caused him to grow that much more frustrated. Perhaps it was foolish of him to come charging ahead after his sister without warning anyone else. Had he told his family, other members of the Shifters, he might have gotten some back up that could have helped him to save Isa. He'd been foolish not to do that but it hind sight was alright perfect, wasn't it? He couldn't worry about what he hadn't done and instead try to focus on what he was doing now, hoping that it might help.

"ENOUGH!" A voice bellowed from within the trees surrounding them.
Just as fast as the stranger had been attacking Chalcedony, he brought his blades into their sheaths and looked into the forest where the sound had come, waiting for whatever it was with a respect that hadn't been seen before. He must have recognized it.
Two elderly men came through the trees and into the clearing, followed by a small form hiding behind them. The men were shifters, and elders of the village Chalcedony lived in. And the little one was Isa, safe and sound. One of the men was holding Isa's hand and she peeked out from behind him with a smile on her face at Chalcedony.
"Thank you young man, you have done well." The man who was not holding Isa, and the voice that had yelled out earlier spoke to the stranger Chalcedony had been fighting. The stranger nodded his head in acceptance of the gratitude.

The voice that cut through the air, as well as through the fight that Chal was certain would be his last, startled him greatly. No more so then seeing the way that the Leaf Tribesman was suddenly backing off and putting his weapons away. It was a confusing sort of thing, making him wonder what was going on. Turning him head when he heard footsteps the Shifter found himself starring at two men who lived in the same village of Jauhar as he did, he'd seen them many times in the past, then he saw something even more important, "Ah! Isa!" He cried out, dropping his shield as he hurried over, scooping her up into his arms, hugging her tightly to him, "I am so glad that you are safe."
The way that the two elders were thanking the Leaf Tribesman confused him like nothing else, making him turn to look over at the foreigner though he didn't really seem to lighten up any. He didn't get what was going on, didn't understand why they were thanking someone like that, some kidnapper, but that didn't matter right now as much as his little sister did. That she was safe and in his arms was what was most important to him, "Mmm, we should get you home. I am sure Mom and the others are worried about you." He told the little Shifter, more then eager to grab up his shield and leave Tale as quickly as possible.

The leaf earthling turned to retreat into the forest and back to where he came, and the elders turned to address Chalcedony.
"Chalcedony. We have been watching you and your journey to find Isa and we are pleased. Your commitment to family is something strong and it will help you in your training still." One of the elders walked over to Chalcedony, the one that had been holding Isa's hand, and patted Chalcedony on the shoulder.
"Chalcedony. We had set up this test today in order to see how far you've come since you were granted the title of 'Guard'."
Isa looked up at Chalcedony from his arms and grinned. "I was in on the whole thing, Chal. Sorry." Her grin turned sheepish. Her brother was really worried, but the elders told her that this was necessary.

Chalcedony starred at the two men as they explained to him what was going on, that it had been a test of sorts, to see how far he'd come in his training. He blinked a couple times, feeling relief flowing through him since it meant that Isa was never in danger... though he couldn't help but to feel a little miffed. To think that they would put him through something like this just to test him. Was it just him involved then he wouldn't be as upset but to drag Isa into it!?
A moment later though his sister was explaining how she was in all all of it and he looked down at her for a long moment, then shook his head, "Oh, I see. Testing me too are you, little Isa. You just wait, once you are older I am gonna see about testing you too." He said in a teasing manner, then stuck his tongue out at her. Once he was done teasing her a little he looked up at the elders, then sighed, "I can't say that I am not a little upset but I am glad that Isa is alright so I guess that it all worked out." He murmured, ruffling the girl's hair. The fact that she was safe, that alone but him in better spirits then he had been moments ago.
Looking toward the elders he said, "I am sorry I didn't do well enough against the Leaf Tribesman, I was a bit on edge and riled up." He admitted, looking a little embarrassed over that. He would need to train harder from here on out, so as not to allow himself to get so easily angered when dealing with potentially dangerous men.

Isa stuck her tongue out at Chalcedony quickly before letting the elders speak again.
"Chalcedony, that man you were fighting has 5 years of training over you. We did not expect you to win, but we did expect you to throw yourself into it. And you did well." The elders looked to each other and there was a brief nod in some secret confirmation.
"You're loyalty and commitment to others is a great advantage, something that is key in choosing such a protective path."
"Chalcedony. You have proven yourself ready for the next step in your training. Jauhar would be lucky to have you as a massif."
