Despite not having a Drakein himself and having never seen one either it was obvious that Junjie was listening very closely, as though wanting to soak up all of the information that Erionda was sharing with him. It wasn't often that he got to speak with those that weren't his Mom so he was going to make the most of this meeting. He glanced over at Uassae as she mentioned one of his wings having a little ripple in it, before he looked back to Lanzecki, "I see... so this will help keep that from having with Lanzecki then." He murmured to himself, then asked, "Does the ripple bother Uassae at all?" Did it make it hard to fly? Hard to glide? Was it just a cosmetic thing? Junjie couldn't help but to wonder all of these things and while he wanted to ask the Drakein himself he somehow doubted that he would be too forthcoming with answers.

When the bigger Drakein took to the hair he lifted his head to watch, wondering if that meant that it didn't make it harder to fly. Maybe? He couldn't really he sure, he wasn't Uassae after all so he had no idea if the Drakein had to put in more work when it came to flying because he had a ripple in one. Turning back to watch as Erionda opened up one of Lanzecki's wing and offered it to Junjie the boy seemed to stare for a moment before he reached out to take hold of the wing gently in the manner that Erionda was holding it. He looked it over then gave a smile, "You are very pretty colored, Lanzecki." He complimented the Keinling before looking to Erionda next, "Is it good for him to stretch his wings out like this? Does that keep them from rippling too?"

Lifting his other hand carefully he ran his fingers against the wing, though not the membrane of it, not wanting to risk hurting him. He just wanted to feel the Drakein more. He was a lot different feeling then he'd of guessed, he felt quite warm compared to the Froglop that he'd been carrying around not too long ago. He was really pretty! So different then anything he'd seen before which was mesmerizing to the young Jun. He loved seeing new things so much!

"Uassae's ripple?" Erionda looked skyward at her companion for a moment before shaking her head and turning to look back at Junjie. "Not that he has noticed. Nor that I have either." Uassae's shadow was the only sign of his movement overhead. His sharp young eyes missed nothing as the warm air whistled softly past his slightly tilted wingtips. He surveyed the surrounding area, as if checking to make sure everything was safe for the young apprentice hybrid's below. Nothing would slip undetected by him, and at the slightest motion or threat of danger Uassae was quick to notify Erionda over the bond.

Waiting patiently until Junjie took hold of Lanzecki's wing, smiling after he gave her precious Keinling a compliment. She knew Lanzecki wouldn't fully comprehend what he had been told, but she knew he could understand by the tone of Jun's voice that it was a positive thing. As he continued to speak it took Rio a few moments before it registered that he was speaking to her again. With a small hum of thought Erionda began sprinkling water over the thin membrane.

"Wings?" Pausing to gather the information Erionda shook her head again. "I don't know." She finally admitted. Bending over to reach deep into the lake bed. Pulling up a handful of the sandy mud, the young hybrid began rubbing her hand along the thin skin. Her pale violet eyes flashed to follow Junjie's finger then to Lanzecki's eyes. Giggling quietly as Lanzecki wiggled as if he had been tickled. His eyes still focused on his reflection in the water.

After finishing with the wing she moved to Lanzecki's other side, offering the same instructions to Jun again.

Junjie seemed to be only too happy to help out with the cleaning of the little Keinling, taking in everything that was going on, finding it cute the way that the little one seemed to be enjoying the bath. He knew that he had always tried to run when it was bath time when he was younger, preferring to track mud around. Lanzecki it would seem didn't mind it as much as Junjie used to, instead it seemed more like the exact opposite. He supposed that if it was good for him, aided in easing his growing pains, that it made sense why the little Keinling like to be bathed in such a manner. He bet that the water being nice and cool probably helped all that much more. A part of him wondered if a soak in a warm bath might help too, his mother had said before it was good for aching muscles, but he felt that his mother might very well have a heart attack if she came into the bathroom and found found a Keinling soaking in the tub. Best he not offer their bathroom up for such a thing he told himself.

Curiosity started to set in, causing Junjie to give the much bigger Uassae a glance before he asked of Erionda, "Did you used to do this for him too?" He asked, motioning to the big Drakein, finding the idea kind of cute, "What was he like when he was this little?" He hoped asking didn't embarrass Uassae but he couldn't help but to be curious, wondering if he was a much different baby from Lanzeki. He wondered if he were just as protective as he was now or was he much more innocent then? He couldn't help but to wonder.

Shrugging at Junjie's question Erionda finished rubbing the rest of the small Keinlings hide. "There wasn't really much I was able to do when he was this age." Erionda's tone dropped. Memories of the painful time haunted her eyes as she watched Lanzecki wiggle free and slip into the water. Paddling with ease as he moved about. Giving a trill back to Erionda before he dipped below the surface.

Sensing the disturbance of slight distress though the bond Uassae took to landing back on the shore. His eyes carefully trained on Junjie in case he had been the cause of it. "Uassae was..." Erionda paused her voice cracking slightly as she moved towards the large Aeduan dragon. "Uassae wasn't like Lanzecki at all when he hatched." Reaching up she stroked the yellow and green scales.

The rumble Uassae gave in return soothed Erionda. Blinking back her tears the young Hybrid smiled. "He was supportive and protective. Not as much as he is now but still quite protective even then."

"Wasn't really much you were able to do?" He asked curiously, feeling as though he were missing something. The way that her tone dropped, the look in her eyes, had he asked the wrong thing? Behind him his brown wings gave a weak fluttering, "I... I'm sorry if I asked the wrong thing..." He said, worried that he might have insulted the girl without meaning to. He was just curious if Uassae had a time when he was tiny, at least tiny in a Drakein sense, he hadn't meant to dredge up bad memories for the girl. That was no way to make friends after all and what Junjie wanted more then anything else was to perhaps make a friend.

She continued a moment later, her voice cracking a little, as she explained to him that Uassae wasn't like Lanzecki at all when he'd hatched. It seemed that he was protective of her even when he was little, "I see." He murmured, finding himself interested in the answer since it meant that Uassae had always been himself, even when little, but still felt guilty over having asked. Bowing his head a little he said, "I'm sorry... I... I asked the wrong thing. Sometimes I tend to ask too many questions, my mom has told me has much in the past." When he got curious he asked questions, lots of them, sometimes the sort of questions that people didn't want to answer. It was kind of the same way with him and his questions about his father. His mother only wanted to answer so much before she was no longer willing or able to answer anything else about the man who'd never been present in his life.

Turning to watch Lanzecki as he splashed around in the water he said idly, "I... umm... well, I am a little envious, you have such good friends." He wanted friends like that, though what were the odds that a Drakein would fall into his lap? He didn't even know where they came from other then what Erionda had explained to him and he doubted he'd find such a person any time soon given he rarely left the house and when he did he didn't get out of the yard much.

Erionda glanced shyly at Jun, faking a smile to let him know everything was alright. She hadn't taken him personally, at least she hadn't understood it as something to be taken in a bad way. Petting Lanzecki as she nodded quietly to Jun. "Don't worry. Everything is ok." Erionda motioned trying to console her worried acquaintance. "But I think it's best I carry on my way. I have more hunting to do before people come back for me. I can't tarry to long in one place."

Bowing her head solemnly Erionda excused herself from the water. Pausing to turn back towards the Hybrid. "Maybe we will meet again. I am glad to have met someone who doesn't seem so keen on killing me on sight." She offered him a gentle smile.

"Aww, you have to go?" He asked, a little disappointed that the first ever person that he met and got to talk to for an extended period of time had to go. It made sense though, if she had more hunting to do, stuff she had to get done before she was picked up, she couldn't really spend all her time standing around chatting with him, "Alright, it was really nice talking with you!" Even if he had made the worst impression in the history of first impressions ever. Hopefully given time he would be able to make up for that... though that meant meeting up with her again. If he were lucky enough he would find her again he thought to himself.

Moving away from the water and back up onto the bank that ran alongside it he gave the pink haired girl a smile, "Heh, I hope that we get to meet again soon." He said, glad that he had met her though he found himself wondering who else she'd met in her time that was keen on killing her at first sight. It wasn't exactly a thought that he liked even in the least bit. He might not know her well but she seemed really nice, not a person that anyone should be keen on hurting he thought to himself, "I live not far from here so if you are in the area again look for me!" He chirped, giving her a little wave. He supposed that this meant that he should either head for home, preferably before his mother realized he was missing or else she was bound to be unhappy with him for sneaking off the way he had.

Erionda nodded "I only have a small window in which to collect two Ysali orbs. I fear what will happen if I do not complete this task again." With a shudder Erionda shifted forward stopping when Jun spoke again. He lives near here? Erionda thought. " I will take you up on that. If I return to Serenia." With that the trio disappeared into the trees.
