I may be faster, but that thing is too damn nimble.. if I could damage another leg... The Crystal Comet cringed at the slight rumbling of the vulcan shots, hitting the back was a bit too close to home... She turned the Crystal Breaker around, almost tiring from the constant hit-and-run the Fox seemed to be doing. With a quick glance to her gauges, she notices her chance of overheating has been cooled off. She could take another shot with the particle gun again, chances of hitting the Fox were more likely with a damaged hind leg, yet a thought in the back of her mind tugged on her to not try, that something bad may happen if she went through with that idea. Her course of action, to at least grab a hold of the fox and make him less mobile.. or cease that ability from it completely. And if I do manage to damage another leg so it can't move... then the battle is mine...
The Crystal Breaker stood there, blocking the vulcans shots with the left remaining shield as she decided to do the waiting game again and see what happens. If given enough time.. I may even be able to shoot again with less risks...

::Narrowing his eyes he shook his head. He couldn't let her use the Particle Cannon again. Firing up the SLC he charged towards the beast, taking to swipes at the undamaged shield, hoping to wear it down. The Fox landed and took off again, holding the charge. Stopping abruptly underneath the zoid he slashed out at the right leg anchor, only for a moment in fear of being crushed or grabbed. He jumped the Fox backward and the raced away, using the Vulcan to nail the more cumbersome zoids backside with a few seconds of consistant firepower..::
Slowly but surely.
::Sighing he prepared to make another pass at the large zoid, the SLC just starting to charge again.::

The shield took a beating, but it was still good as she worried more on her backside. When the Fox went behind her she heard a scratch and quickly checked on her leg status. They were fine and so were the anchors, thank god the anchors were made durably for the particle cannon attacks and that they had a protective armor covering them when not in use. She turned the Breaker again to face the Fox feeling a couple of shots hit her Zoid's back.
This time, she wasn't going to let the Fox hit her as she concentrated on it's movements, preparing the pincers to intercept the leaping shadow as the remaining grappling claw twitched. Maybe I could use it to grab him... sadly it won't be able to send any volts through it... The Crystal Comet kept the Breaker's front at a constant lock on the Fox's movement.

::Sighing he prepped for another pass. He knew if he was to win this battle, he couldn't keep repeating the same thing over and over. Clenching his jaw, he nodded to himself, almost as a morale booster. The match truly was uneven. The Crystal Breaker had the upperhand even when missing a pinsir and a shield. Charging forward at close to 280 km/h, the Shadow Fox sped past the behemoth, engaging the leg anchors for an abrupt stop and then a quick jump. He attempted to spring onto the monsters back. His charged paws outstretched. Even if he didn't achieve the goal of landing on the back, he'd still have a pretty good shot of inflicting some damage upon Eli's zoid.::
Hang on bud, heres the real test.
::Gripping the controls tightly he awaited to see if the large zoid could react in time to his agile twists and turns. If so, he'd be face to face with the monster, nonetheless with a chance to impact some extensive damage to the zoids manifold.::

He's charging again! was what she thought, with a quickly push on the controls, the Crystal Breaker leaned forth and attempted to reach out at the Shadow Fox with metalic pinsirs, only to miss it and watch it bound behind her. The Crystal Comet quickly pushed on the controls to turn the leaning Breaker into a turn, again barely sighting the Fox as she watches it jump into the air out of the slight visual she was able to get out of the awkward turn. "What in the world is he doing...? Oh shi-" Seeing the Fox dive towards her quickly put the Crystal Comet into a panic, she pushed the controls causing the shielded pinsir to drive up in an unusual stabbing motion with the blades closed.

::Ryo grunted as he took a firm grip of the controls improvising upon contact with the shielded pinsir. Slashing at it, he attempted to bound off the shield, but to no avail, the stabbing motion caused the underbelly to attain quite a large scratch, and sent the zoid off course. Rolling once in the air, the Fox landed firmly on its feet, and snarled. The zoid was hurting. He needed to end this fight now.::
Damn you and your huge zoid.
::With that the Fox let out a howl and charged forward. He wanted this over. His zoid was now fully limping at a top speed of 275 km/h. Nonetheless, he was still quite agile. Hopping to the left and to the right, he began to circle the large zoid. His ace was about to be revealed. As he circled round the zoid a second time. Two vents on each side of the zoids rear opened. Thick black smoke disperesed into the dry, and arid desert air, filling in all around the Crystal Breaker and out around a rather large radius. Chuckling the Fox entered the cloud, its multisensor picking up the Crystal Breaker's heat signature quite easily, thus popping up like clear day infront of him. The vents continued to dispell more and more black smoke filling in a large area of around 8 kilometers. Finally the vents closed, the two zoids encased in the large depth of heavy, non-moving smoke. Grinning he prepped the Vulcan, and sneaked around behind the Breaker.::
Lets see how well you do now Ms. Leveth.

The darkness, the growing darkness, swirling and edging about around her. Her eyes widened as she looked about, only seeing darkness. Snap. The Crystal Comet, no, Eli, ripped off her CC helmet and her navy hair fell out. She felt she was being consumed by the darkness... the darkness that took them. Her breathing became heavy and ragged as her eyes darted about watering slightly but not enough to form tears, trying to see something besides the darkness. Nothing.
Then a thought popped up in her mind. Light, she needed light... her eyes quickly fell onto the particle gun. Her Crystal Breaker let down only the right leg anchor and straightened its body. Unless looked at in a normal view, one with heat vision could probaly only see the Breaker trying to see things better. The vents opened up, and the fan on the back of the Breaker began to suck in air as the Breaker's mouth slowly opened, the mouth's movement probaly disguised behind the heat signature of the Breaker's whole body. Eli flipped the final switch and a large beam of light shot out, and due to that the Breaker only had one leg anchor down... it began to turn, firing in a circle around her.

::Chuckling, Ryo took advantage. Speeding around the perimeter of the huge smokescreen, his cockpit easily spotted the large Breaker, with his multi-sensor. It took no more than a second to register what she was preparing for when the vents opened and the anchor was engaged. His eyes widened as he bolted as fast as he could, prepping the Vulcan as well. Sprinting off at 270 km/h, Ryo was soon in a race trying to beat the spinning zoid while getting a few shots off. The large beam was maybe 5 kilometers behind the Fox, but close enough to ensure that he needed to outrun the damaging gun. Smirking as he closed in on 280 km/h, he knew that the beam wasn't going to catch up to him, and sooner or later, Eli would have to stop beam cannon for sake of overheating. The Vulcan rose up off the Fox's back, twisting towards the spinning zoid. It began a steady stream of fire more located to the legs, trying to take out the anchor support once again. Frowning Ryo pushed harder on the controls, he only needed a little more speed to reach the zoids backside. The beam was now within 3 meters of the Shadow Fox, but the Crystal Breaker had to have been tiring out from the steady stream of fire. As soon as she let up, he'd move more quickly into action.::
I know you can't fire that thing forever missy...

The particle beam left a slice of clear view through its trail of blind destruction, but the opening was soon filled by the diffusion of smoke. "N-No! It's swallowing my light!" She clenched her teeth and her fist lightly. Her cockpick began to strob with red lights, informing her that if she didn't stop firing the particle gun, it will overheat the Crystal Breaker. Eli's eyes dart to the temperature gauge and noticed it was at a dangerous 78%. Her breathing became more ragged, knowing if her Breaker overheated, she'll succumb to the darkness... The particle beam fire let off about 2 meters away from the Fox and the Breaker sat there for a moment, cooling down and withdrawing the leg anchor.
I can't let my Zoid go out of commission.. at least not in this darkness.. She couldn't think straight, all she knew was that something is going to attack her. Eli took in a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself down, she had to think. Her eyes quickly darted to the radar and saw a soft bleep, but it seemed delayed and partially off. A tear streaked down her cheek slowly as her eyes pressed closed and she listened, the soft ticking of cooling metal and something running around nearby. Just wait for the shadow to come...

::The silence of the looming cloud hung heavily over the larger zoid. Chuckling Ryo was satisfied as he watched the beam die away and the smoke consume the hole. The emerald eyes shifted towards his controls, flipping a few swithces beggining the charge of the SLC. The silent steps of the Shadow Fox, even more deadened by the soft sand of the desert would literally be impossible to hear, even in the silence of the smokescreen. Sighing as the SLC prepped with its golden charge, Ryo punched the controls forward. Charging into the darkness, the Shadow Fox moved quickly towards the backside of the Crystal Breaker, he jumped the Fox taking two swipes at the back of the large zoid, before landing. Once both feet touched down in silence, the Vulcan went to work, attempting to riddle the Breaker's backside as he charged off through the darkness and back to the outside, venting more smoke in his trail.::
She can't use that beam cannon for another minute or so... and it seemingly is her only weapon... if we can keep this up bud, we have a chance.
::The Shadow Fox pawed the soft sand impatiently, wanting to tear the large zoid to shreds again.::

The ticking metal was comforting as it slowly died away. Silence again... until the sound of screeching metal agaisnt metal quickly threw Eli into a panic, she pushed on the thrusters to escape the now attacking shadow who pelted her with annoying shots. Her eyes darted down to her zoid's status, the systems seemd fine, but Eli put thought that her opponent did some damage on her armor... her eyes widened in partial joy as she noticed she was scared out of the darkness. The light from outside brought a smile to her lips as she quickly turned her zoid around, spotting the tail of the fox sticking out from the other side of the smoke.
Eli was back in control, but not as the Crystal Comet, but as Eli. Remembering her opponent was Ryo, a thought came to mind. I'll beat you so I can impress you... She quickly looked at the temperature gauge, 50%. She could afford a shot, but only a quick short burst. Which is probaly only enough to knock the air out of the Fox. Nah.. Eli pushed on her thrusters and shot forth, her Crystal Breaker's pincers ready to clamp onto its shadowy opponent as it closed the distance within mere seconds.

[[BANZAI!]]
What was he doing here again . . .? It had to do with some kind of team. And the leader of the team. That's who he was looking for. They had made an appointment before to meet, but this . . . Ryo person wasn't at the meeting spot. And there was no way Mark was just going to let him blow him off. If he thought that he was some push over, oh, no. He'd hunt him down until he made him have the meeting right now. The team looked worth joining. And that Shadow fox Ryo was supposed to have, according to people he beat answers out of. And well, finding a Shadow Fox of a certain pilot isn't that easy. Unless well, certain things.
After hours of attacking random Shadow Fox's and yelling at their pilots, Mark found himself in his Hound Soldier grasping the contrals heading toward a land of sand. He didn't much like sand . . . It was far to sandy. Something had appeared on his radar thing-mo-bob. What ever it was called. Courtesy of his stealing of it. Two little dots. They looked so . . . Just, red and dotty. Ew. It wouldn't take to long to cover the distance.
After a bit of yawning and blinking, the Hound's eyes looked upon what seemed to be a battle up ahead. The only thing he saw was a outline of a Shadow Fox. Right. That's what he wanted. Maybe this was Ryo or what not. Now all that there was left to do was to close in. But that didn't look like a very wise idea. He was still far, and maybe nobody noticed him yet. Maybe the com link thing?
Coughing he grabbed the microphone-thing.
"Excuse me. I'm Mark, and I don't mean to disturb anyone, but, I'm looking for Ryo. He left me alone at the meeting spot and I would like to have it. And if none of you are him . . . Say so . . . I would like a head start in running. Thank you~"

((xD Haku you rock.))
::Just as he shoved the controls forward, Ryo's eyes darted to the panging com-link. Sighing he yanked the controls back, the black and green fox skidding to a stop in the soft sand just outside of the smokescreen. The emerald eyes darted to the approaching zoid just off to his right. A Hound Soldier. Grinning he flipped a switch near the panging device, Mark's voice flooding his cockpit. The Shadow Fox's Sound Baffle System coming into effect again as he opened up the channel to speak to Mark.::
Ah Mark! Sorry about any inconveniences I may have caused you... and yes I am Ryo. Nice to know my team members can find me without even meeting me. You are one resourceful fellow at that. Welcome to Team Chronos by the way.
::Take a quick glance on his mutli-sensor he checked up on Eli, making sure she wasn't making any sudden movements. It was still far too early to use an effective blast on the Fox, but he knew she could if she wanted to. Sighing nothing was going on and he returned to his attention back to the Hound Soldier's pilot.::
Sorry if it sounds like I'm rambling but you see that smokescreen, well in there would be quite a problem of mine, a Geno hybrid of sorts. CP cannons, the works. The HoverCargo is not too far from here I'd say 20 to 25 kilometers off my back shoulder.
::With a heavy sigh, he glanced down at the mutli-sensor once more, he could never be too certain of the hybrid's whereabouts.::
Unless you want to stay and watch, you can head back to the H.C., I don't want to drag you or my other teammates into my own personal affairs. I'm glad to have you aboard Mark.
::With that he charged into the darkness, SLC raring to go. His eyes widened greatly as he saw the Breaker flying at full speed towards his zoid. His jaw clenched as his eyes narrowed in upon the pincirs of the large zoid. Clutching the controls tightly he jerked them to the right and hard, causing the Fox to bound to the right in mid-stride. He slashed out first at the extended pincir with his left claw. The zoids legs sprung down in its sprint as Ryo jumped the Fox with a slight rotation. The Fox reached out with both claws attempting a double slash at the neck area of the zoid with the charged claws. The zoid landed sideways skidding in the deep sand, speeding off through the darkness, firing his Vulcan along the side of the large zoid. As he breached the smokescreen, he coincidentally ended up alongside the Hound Soldier.::

Eli ignored Mark, knowing full well that Ryo replied to him by now, that must be the reason why he was partially delayed. That better not be reinforcements...
The shielded pincer's blade caught onto the extended paw and scraped off any paintjob as the Breaker slowed slightly. Eli smiled as she noticed Ryo's double attack, quickly pushing one leg anchor down to provide a quick evasive turn due to the Breaker's current momentum. She quickly turned off the thrusters and halted facing his running tail. Ryo's running through the dark... no way I'm going back in there... She watched a few vulcon shots hit her carefully placed shield.
With another smile, she glanced back down at the temperature, 39%. Didn't drop much cause of the thruster movement earlier, but that could be enough to take him out... if it was a clean shot. Eli could take the chance, or she could wait a bit, but she did have a shot at should he of just ran in a straight line. No.. wait till I can have the full blow...
She pushed on her thrusters again, circling the black mass of smoke in search of her opponent. If he does have backup... I guess I could call her in if things became hectic to even the field if needed.

Mark sat inside the cockpit wondering what to do. It would be fun to held Ryo pick off the pieces of the other Zoid, but he didn't ask for help. And maybe that wouldn't be to bright. But, in the other hand . . . He'd just sit this one out. If the other pilot tried to kill Ryo, well then, he'd protect his fallen leader. But, the time had not come. Yet. All there was left to do was to move out the way. Not that he was really close.
Taking hold of the controls he moved a few steps of the Hound back. Sighing, he shut the power off for the Zoid. not like he needed to do anything. Hopefully, no attacks would come his way. Well, if they did . . . Oh hell.
He sighed again as he turned the core power back on.
"So, what now~"
