One more chocolate cupcake gone! But how was she ever going to catch up with the charming fellow from the other side?! It looked like he had already sold 4!

Peanut butter chocolate cupcake in one hand, strawberries and cream in the other, Penelope focused her efforts on getting attention. Her smile, though genuine in its friendliness, was a bit bigger than normal, "Cupcakes, ma'am?"
Just the strawberries and cream... but hey, it was one more cupcake sold!

Penelope made an effort to reach out to her target demographic--a couple of teenagers were approaching the baked goods. "Welcome! Care for a cupcake? Please vote for me on city council--I'm seeking to be a representative for younger people, like us!"
Not nearly as catchy as Aurora's slogan, but... surely it got the point across?
She tried not to appear too hurt when they all but laughed in her face.

Given the disasterous result of her last attempt, the girl was a bit softer in her speech as she spoke to the next passerby, "Cupcake?"
Nope, no more interest than most. Feeling deflated, the candidate seriously considered buying a cupcake for herself and chowing down.

By now, Penelope was just being selective. She needed to pick a good target--a really good one--to make up for her earlier failures. She didn't know if her heart could take another rejection!
FINALLY, her first double sell! Okay, maybe it had more to do with the fact that the mother had two young children than agreeing with her politics, but Penelope still chalked it up as a victory.

Bake Sale:
Although baking wasn't something that Arian tended to make a big deal about, it was something that the dark-haired teen tended to be relatively good at.
It seemed a like a good way of raising awareness for his candidate - one Penelope Seneca and so the dark-haired teen had made up a batch of 50 toffee apple cupcakes, carefully frosted with green frosting and pieces of candied apple.
He'd spent the evening making up little flags for them too, with Penelope Seneca for City Councillor written in his best handwriting.
After arranging them neatly, he smiled a friendly smile to those passing by "Could I interest any of you in some cupcakes?"

Selling two cupcakes at once had helped her regain her confidence some, but once dented, it was hard for Penelope to recover completely. She could, at least, keep a smile on her face and remind people why they should be buying cupcakes from her, "Please buy cupcakes to support Penelope Seneca for City Council!"
(She really needed to work on her sloganizing.)
But hey, it sold her one more cupcake!

Azzo's favorite part of the campaign was helping with the sweets! He was talking to one customer and well it seemed he made an okay 'salesman'. He managed to sell One Cupcake for Penelope Seneca Hopefully, he could do better with the next person!

Alright, he really liked that slogan, about Suite being the awesome candidate, but he suspected that it really wouldn't go over if the person saying it was an adult. But he was certainly free to use it.
He did a back flip, and then grinned charmingly at a girl looking over the different types. "The ones that have the rainbow frosting have chocolate filling inside!" he suggested. Girls like chocolate, right?
