No. Alecto definitely hadn't mistaken Andrew for a dog demon. Sorry Andrew.

"I know." She blinked, smiling. Her eyes followed his flicking tail. A hand shot out to grab it. "Friends! Let's bebe friends!"

"What are you doing?" his voice raised a few octives as he squeaked when her hand brushed against his fire. He shot up, tail pulling above the branch. "We can't be friends if you touch my tail."

He eyed her wondering what it would take to get the dog to go away. Maybe if he said they were friends, she would let him down.

"But firefire is good." She looked up with wide, confused eyes at the other demon. Her lips pursed at his words, but reluctantly pulled back her hand. "Okay..." It was strangely important to Alecto for them to be friends. They were both fire demons, so why wouldn't they be friends? It seemed perfectly logical in her mind.

"Fire is good, but my fire is mine." It was too bad the only ones around that could appreciate a little fire seemed to be dogs. Why were they all dogs? Why couldn't she have been something more pleasant like a fire imp, or another flame demon?

"At least we can agree on one thing though." he took a stick and set the end on fire waving it around a little before tossing it down on the ground.
