Name Meaning: Mortimer is English for still water; Silverwaters is a made up name combining Silver and waters.

Personality: A quiet and serious guy. Mort doesn't feel the need to talk all the time and when he does speak it's usually short and clipped sentences. He enjoys learning and exploring and has never acted like a child.
History: Mortimer is from a long line of Mantas called the Silverwaters. Legend had it that they came from water that was pure silver in color from a far away land. Now the Silverwaters live in a lagoon that when the sun or moon hits it just right gets a silver sheen. However only Mortimer lives there as his family just up and left one day after he had been laid as an egg. He knows nothing about what happened to them and only knows about his family line from the records kept in his home.
One day while exploring the deeper, colder waters near his mild lagoon home he chanced upon a strange egg. It was on the edge of one of the deep water crevasses and he decided to take it home. He didn't know if it would hatch or not or what it would be but he didn't want to leave it to fall into the dark abyss that was recorded to hold horrors untold in his family records.

Personality: A true Naga. Loviatar believes that Nagas are above all other taur and despises them. She has no magic abilities but has mastered the art of poison. She is also skilled with archery and enjoys assassinating all that her lords command her to. However that isn't to say that she is happy with her position. She craves to gain more power and a higher position. If it suits her purpose to stab her current lord in the back with a poisoned dagger she won't hesitate to plunge the dagger in.

Personality: A bashful guy born into a high class line with distant ties to royalty. Cadfael wants what's best for his people but he is so self conscious and nervous that he can barely handle being around others. He has a stuttering problem that gets worse when he gets more shy, nervous, or self conscious. He is a completely softie and abhors violence. Not to mention he is a wuss and gets sick at the sight of blood. He can barely tolerate the old tradition of having Harpy slaves as well. Truly not one would expect from someone so high born in the Naga race.

Personality: A kind lady. Florette loves flowers. She has her own hot house that contains many flowers, some of which she has breed herself. She often wanders out of town to search for new specimens. She is also polite and very lady-like.
History: Florette comes from a line of Cervitaurs that sell flowers and also breed them. They have produced new lines of flowers (one is a rose). Florette is now in charge of the shop but she often leaves it in the hands of her workers as she wanders off to find new specimens or if she's busy with a new breeding project.
