Ami had to deflect one of Nevada's wayward bullets. "Watch-" Cough. "-Where you're aiming!" Another set of coughs. It was probably time for action, rather than words.
Her glaive snapped in half, angry vengeance shining in her eyes. She'd been to this island with nothing but runic guns, and she was made a mockery. Now she was out for blood, and for rightful revenge. There was no pity in the swipe of her weapon, the spines raking along the shadows.

Startled by the sudden explosion, Kat's weapons were summoned on instinct while she tugged her scarf up around her mouth to keep from breathing in the worst of her gas. With that taken care of, next she dragged her goggles down to protect her eyes. Though, this did nothing to help improve her sight in spotting their opponent.
"Are you two, alright?" She called out, scanning the area for any possible signs of movement. Spotting something, she took a shot, hoping that she hit her target.

"I can't..." Nevada was staring into moving dolls and something kept gripping her ankles and she was just....The doll of herself was dropped for better focus on the shadows.
"God this is just..." Horrible really.
"Got you..." She coughed as she pulled the trigger on Leroy, sending a splatter of fear into one shadow.

That was as much as she could get out with how much her head was spinning. It was taking all of her energy just to swing her glaive around.

With Ami's answer, Kat nodded and proceeded to scan the area for any sign of threat close by. It was doubtful that she was going to be able to see much out of any of this, but it didn't keep her from trying. Hearing something to the left of her, the sun hunter spun around, quickly shooting at whatever it was that was near. "Tch.. I think I barely scratched it that time.."

Nevada murmured as she pulled her scarf up like Kat, trying to stifle whatever of the gas was left.
"Augh..." God there was more shadows than there was of the three hunters and well....Her gunshots were doing minimal damage right now.

If it weren't for the scarf covering her face, and the gas having clouded everyone's vision, Ami might have seen the sun hunter's grin grow a little wider. "Yes, ma'am." With that said and done, Kat took another shot.

Her glaive snapped back together. Junpei's FEAR was starting to clear her mind. Things were still hazy, foggy, but she could piece together bits and pieces.
< Now now now now now now. >
Like a rubber band, Ami snapped and struck with her glaive. Golden waves of energy washed over the shadows, causing them to recoil with loud hissing. Nailed it.

Nevada was really beginning to see the difference between trainee's and intermediate as well as full grown hunters.
And she was lacking.

"Thanks!" Nevada held up Leroy and prayed that his charge worked, using the time for him to charge the rest of the way while Ami defended her.
The tommy gun hummed with the light of the runes and as she pulled the trigger....The blast fanned out largely...and widely as she decimated a large chunk of shadow.
"Holy crap Leroy!"
/Maybe if you used me more, you'd see that I am the best Pidge.../
