“Forged by magic and earth? That is interesting.” He nodded. He was curious on who would have such a power to do so; as well as what kind of magic was it? The creature seemed harmless and he had little fear in it. Though it being unknown made him interested and he felt the need to gain more information on it “Someone created it for you? Hmm—“
That being much have intense amount over power to accomplish such “You did not have friends? Not one?” He looked confused “Someone as nice like you? I find that hard to believe.” He did not really have any friends himself. Well only because he chose to keep himself at a distance with others. When he was younger he just found everyone to be a fool unless it was his family. He sure grew up he thought to himself.

The smile faded a bit from Discordia’s face as she looked to Requies. “Would my brothers and cousins count as being my friends?” she asked him with a little laugh. “I’ve only traveled as far as those mountains,” she nodded her head to the horizon just to the left of them. “Not many strangers travel throughout these lands. I’ve only met one other only a month’s passing ago and of course when I was a foal,” she said. Discordia felt ashamed for not having many friends unlike the rest of her kin within the herd. Even her Mother at this age had many, many friends and still has. But why should Discordia even complain? She was happy and content. She felt like she already had everything with the creature and her family. What more should she need or have? The young female dipped her head down as she looked ahead of them. “I have all that I want right here,” she spoke softly but the way she spoke seemed a bit sad and conflicting. Discordia closed her eyes for a brief moment and shook her head, “I’m sorry. I don’t mean to depress our conversation,” she apologized. “I’m sure you’ve got plenty of friends back home. Your herd sounds quite lovely and you seem very dedicated to them to have come out here in search of a member,” she smiled.

He could relate “That’s something we have in common. I have no friends besides my family. There is nothing wrong in it. I mean it’s easy to trust your family over a stranger.” He said with a smile trying to cheer her up.
Requies blinked his eyes “That’s all? Well I normally don’t travel. I mean as a kid I use to wander around our territory trying to get into some kind of mischief.” He said to her as the continued to walk on and he looked forward wondering what was up ahead “I suppose you would not like to travel sometime? There is much to see.” He himself had yet to see everything. Though with complications and issues that occur with his family; he did not see that in the future, he wondered if his family was upset at him for leaving?
“You’re family sounds nice though. It must be a close family?”

"Oh I couldn't possibly leave my family for too long," she said as she looked to Requies. "My life is here. I'm safe here beside my Mother's side," she said as though she were simply telling herself that but something in her voice sounded as though she meant otherwise. "Besides there's plenty to offer here. I have shelter under the protection of my herd. There's plenty of food and many, many chores to do. I would believe my Mother would be lost if I was to leave," Discordia said with a soft smile.
She paused for a brief moment as she lead the young stallion into the deeper parts of the forest now. The trees here were thick with full branches of leaves. The flowers were starting to sprout with life as Spring was now making its way across the lands.
"Here's where the best clovers grow," she softly spoke as she nudged her head down to a patch of clovers growing at the base of an old oak tree. The sunlight pierced through a patch of emptiness between branches down onto the clovers. "They're quite tasty. You'll also find some delicious grasses nearby and there's a stream not too far. You should be safe here tonight," she smiled reassuringly as she looked to Requies.
"Not even my Grandmother knows of this little place. It's my own little grotto," Discordia smiled.

He remained silent listening to her. He wanted to say something regarding to her answer. However, he felt like he had no place in it. The dark stallion looked around the area he was lead to and gave a satisfied grin “This will do quite well. Your grotto, is this your favorite secret place?” He asked her, he felt a little special being brought to such a place if it was her favorite spot. His bright eyes looked towards her as he waited for her answer.

Discordia chuckled and shook her head. "It's a secret yes and a place that I like to escape to when things are hectic within the herd. So in a way, yes I suppose it is my favorite place." Discordia's smile blossomed on her face as she looked around them in delight. She could still remember stumbling across this little haven when she was only a foal.
"You shouldn't worry about anyone of my herd stumbling across you. Like I said they don't really know of this place and don't check this far," she reassured him. Discordia hoped that her Grandmother, Mother, or anyone else of the herd wouldn't be sweeping the boarders like crazy tonight. It wouldn't go well for Requies or herself to try to explain as to why this strange stallion was within their lands.
"And I hope you don't mind a little company either," she smirked as she lowered her head. The odd-looking creature climbed it's way down from it's little burrow inside her mane and looked to Requies. "It's not that I don't trust you...it's just...I've never actually let anyone I don't know stay in my family's lands. Don't need any surprises happening in the middle of the night," she chuckled.
The creature didn't look all that impressed as it quickly scurried up a tree to the top of the canopy with it's beady eyes looking down at the stallion.

He would remember this place, if he were to ever come around these parts again. When he thought she met herself? His hopes rose that is until she meant the creature and he watched it climb up a tree with a curious look “Oh, it does not bother me. Though I do not think it’s happy to be in my company?” he laughed a bit.
The stallion gave a look as he tried to think of something else to say. He was never good at bringing up a conversation “It’s getting dark. You heading back now?” he asked curiously. Not that he was trying to get rid of her or anything. He liked having her in his presence.

Discordia blinked completely unaware and forgotten that the sun was already setting behind the farthest mountains. She certainly didn't need her Mother or anyone else trying to look for her and stumble across that she had offered shelter to a strange stallion. "I suppose I should take my leave," she spoke softly. However Discordia didn't want to leave just yet. She had many questions to ask Requies--especially life outside this hidden valley. She stepped back and looked as though she was going to take her leave but instead she looked over her shoulder to him. "Will you be comfortable?" she asked him with concern in her eyes. "Do you need anything else? I can fetch some herbs if your legs are hurt from traveling. Or help you prepare a shelter if it's to rain," she said in hopes that he would have something for her to do as she didn't want to leave quite yet.

Requies turned away from her smirking silently to him-self it seemed she did not want to leave him quite yet. He turned around to face her again and blinked his eyes “You’ve done so much for me already! I dare not ask for much more---“
He paused for a moment “Though if you wish to hang around more I could use the company.” He said with a light nod giving her a small smile. He hoped though it would be no trouble if she was out in the night and not at home. He did not want a family search coming around looking for her. It would be a rather awkward situation.

"I'll stay until the last sunlight covers the land," she softly said with a smile blooming on her face. She knew that if she was so stay any later than most likely the rest of the herd would come looking for her--which in her case and Requies it wouldn't be all too well. She settled down on a soft bed of moss with her long, elegant tail tucking in close beside her as she looked to the young stallion. "What's life outside of this valley? What's the world like?" she asked him with bright, curious eyes. "Are there many different Soquilis? What about Soquilis like myself...? Different...unique?" she asked tilting her head to the side a bit. Her voice softened as she spoke considering that her and her two brothers were very much different within the herd. Requies himself looked different and unique so she assumed there were many others like themselves.

Requies watched as she plopped herself down and she began to ask him questions. There were many and he tried to think of the best answers he could give her. He gave a light smile and headed over towards her settling down before her “Let’s see, first the outside world is quite unique. There are forests as lovely as this and dead ones. There are mountains and large bodies of water that stretch out far as I can see.”
He paused briefly “As far as soquili go there are many types. There are regular land walkers who have nothing unique about them, some with one single horn and others that can fly. Then we have others who you do not want to come across such as harpies, kalona and skinwalkers….not all are bad well except skinwalkers.”

Discordia's eyes brightened in awe as she listened to Requies speak of the world beyond the mountains. She had always dreamed of leaving the valley and venturing out on her own but somehow she couldn't make those last couple steps outside of her herd's territory. She sighed deeply as she dipped her head down in between her front legs. Discordia for once just wanted to see the world--all of the world with it's many, many interesting inhabitants. "You're so lucky," she spoke quietly as she lifted her head. "You're able to come and go as you please without telling anyone," she said. "If only my Mother would let me go. She says the world is cruel and uncaring for someone like me..." her voice almost trailing off to a whisper. The young mare shook her head and stood up. "My Mother is a very, very compassionate mare. But sometimes she's just so....Mothering," Discordia stomped her hoof down. She knew Florian, her Mother was looking out for her daughter's well being. But Discordia wanted so badly to be out on her own. Only...if only..

He listened to her and gave a nod here and there. Requies tried to think of his own mother and not once he could recall her ever stopping him from leaving. He had on his own chose to stay with his family due to the dangers that sought out for his mother “You should go? Just one time just leave. I mean I am sure it’s not like you’ll be banned from you’re her d if you leave right?” he asked while tilting his head slightly studying her expressions. He could tell she desired to leave but did not risk disobeying her mother.
Requies smirked “You can come with me if you want?” he was joking of course. He knew she’d never agree to something like that.
