"Monsters...like what kind? Something out of a fairy tale? Or mythology?" He asked wanting some clarification, if possible, so he had a better idea of what he would possibly, though hopefully not, again one night. He was really hoping he could avoid run in's with these monsters and the ones who felt dark. While feeling dark was an odd concept he somehow had an idea that when you felt dark it was more like what you felt around a criminal or something. As dark wasn't something you could feel as it was more of a color or type of color - dark blue, dark red...ect... At least that was his opinion on that.
From the sound of it he didn't like the youma at all, they sounded worse than these Negaverse people. At least it didn't sound like they attacked normal people. They just took...energy but why? And - wait did he just say soul crystals? "I assume a soul crystal being removed kills the person....why would they be killing people who aren't in the war?" He asked wondering just why they would bring a fight, which seemed to be between two distinct sides, to the civilians. "I remember seeing that on tv...I'd thought it was some big...act or something. I don't know." He hadn't believed that meeting real though. How could it have been? The sheer chaos and people being killed. So the youma and the Negaverse were equally bad...and equally willing to kill normal people. people uninvolved in this whole war. He didn't like the idea t all.
Listening to this Generals description he nodded his head. He'd try and remember to keep away from her if he ever saw her - and he hoped he never did. He didn't like the sound of her and the thought made him nervous. Long spear and liked to use it, or rather wasn't hesitant in using it. He didn't like it at all. "I'll be sure to keep from her if I ever see her...Though her outfit sounds rather nice." It sounded like she was anything but nice.

“The youma? Well they seem to vary” Athene said. “There doesn’t seem to any set format to them. Some of them can be small like dog-sized or even smaller” like the bunch of ornament type ones that had taken over a park last Christmas. “Others can be big though – horse-sized or bigger” the snakepillar one had been bigger than the demon horse like one that he’d encountered the night he’d met Valhalla. He nodded in answer to Chaldene’s question about soul crystals; a distant look in his eyes “Yes losing their soul crystal kills people” the flat tone was back in his voice as he spoke. “And no the City Council meeting wasn’t an act. I was there.” He sighed “To be honest, I don’t get the Negaverse and I haven’t a clue what their purpose is. I don’t think it’s much point asking them what it is either. Of the two members that I had any sort of conversation with, one accused me of being out to raise some Queen to take over before poking at me with a paintbrush and the other dressed herself up in a glitter gone mad ballerina’s outfit, called herself ‘Sailor Sparkles’ and was one of the people killing civilians at the City Council meeting.” Actually the Nega General that he’d warned Chaldene about had talked some too – although it probably didn’t count given that at the time she’d been telling him that she was going to kill him. He nodded though at Chaldene's agreement to keep away from her, adding “Call for help if you have to. You can use your phone to do it.” His words probably wouldn't make any sense if Chaldene hadn't been given the senshi phone 101

Ok, so no one set look for the youma. He didn't like that idea much. He would prefer if there was something unifying about their looks, something to make them easy to spot,. Couldn't they get like a neon tag on them which said youma? Something which would help him pick them out and not mistake them for...a small dog? "I hope none look like a small dog. I wouldn't want to attack a dog at night because I can't tell and I sense a youma." That would be a very hard thing to get over, killing an innocent animal. "Wait...bigger than a horse? Like how much bigger?" He asked. A hint of fear or nerves entering his voice. He didn't like the sound of that. Something that big, and weight? could do some damage no doubt. And something bigger than a horse could surely hurt him. Nope, not something he liked the thought of at all. He didn't care to have to explain injuries to his mother, his father wouldn't notice and if he did crawl out of his bottle long enough to notice he wouldn't likely care. In fact, he suspected his father might crawl right back into his bottle.
"So then what was the city council thing? I mean I saw it on tv and thought it all some... act. I didn't know what about but I didn't think what I was seeing was real..." Trailing off as he thought back to that and the shock over the sudden odd things happening. He hadn't a clue why they would put on such a show but he had thought it was a show. "So those people who died...they really did die...." And the realization of this was sudden and not at all pleasant. These people were out to kill and didn't seem to have an issue with doing it. That one person who'd had their neck snapped so easily, in such a careless and easy manner. It was wrong.
"Call for help...?" He asked before fishing about the pockets of his uniform for that phone he'd gotten. Pulling out finally he glanced over the thing. "I didn't get a manual to go with this thing. The cat just sort of gave this to me and that pen." He said a bit sheepishly. "Ummm if you could show me?" Because he knew he'd be making calls if he found himself in trouble. He was not one to fight, he'd rather run from a fight, and if he couldn't out run it he would be calling whoever was unlucky enough to be listed on this phone.

“It was back when all those civilians went missing” Athene’s voice was quiet. He hadn’t been involved in the events out in the Surrounding, knew little about what had happened apart from the snippets that had cropped up in the senshi and knight meeting and then later at the meeting about purification. “They called a city council meeting about it.” He’d hadn’t particularly wanted to go, had been tugged along by his cousin when he’d gotten home that evening. And it had been for the most part pretty boring. Oh there had been moments but the guy droning on at front had been pretty boring. “At some point the Negaverse crashed it and all hell broke loose. Although it wasn’t just the agents – they brought youma too and blocked the doors.” His voice was flat “I wasn’t the only senshi there and I think there were some Knights there too – we tried to stop the Negaverse killing everyone.” It hadn’t stopped so many dying, hadn’t stopped his cousin from getting hurt. “I have no idea what their purpose was unless the star seeds and energy they stole had something to do with it.” They’d taken a lot of both. He managed a small but rueful smile at Chaldene’s mention of an instruction manual for the phone, shaking his head slightly at an attempt to try and shake the bad memories brought up from that particular City Council meeting. “I know that feeling” he admitted at last, “I’ve had to figure mine out by trial and error.” Although it had been more error than trial “You can add senshi to your phone by scanning them in” he indicated the correct button “I’m not sure of the technical process, but it appears to add the senshi’s contact details to the phone’s equivalent of a contacts list.”

'You mean the sixty or so people? It was all over the news..." He'd remembered that and remembered his father wishing he'd been taken, of course that was cause he was a no good waste of space. His father hadn't let that go until the missing people had returned. He remembered his father mumbling about how he'd have been happy had his son not returned. The man wasn't so bad when he didn't drink but once he started the decent into his bottle, of whatever it was that night, he became...well intolerable. "Yeah. I remember the city council meeting. I was watching it on tv." Curled up in his computer chair rather than downstairs using the living room tv. he didn't need to hear his fathers added commentary. Most of what the man said was useless and annoying at best. At worst it was off topic and unrelated.
"What do they use those for? The starseeds and energy? I mean I assume they have a purpose, or why take them? You don't tend to do things if is no reason or purpose behind it - right?" He asked as he wondered what such things could be used for. He didn't remember any monsters from what he'd seen on the tv. But he was curious about seeing one up close, even though the idea also made him nervous as hell.
"I'm used to the trial and error thing with a normal cell phone. I mean if I press one button and mess up I can fix it. But this isn't a normal phone." He said. And thus the rules could be different. He could really botch it up and he didn't really want to do that. "Oh, that's kinda helpful. Not having to punch in numbers and open a phone book and all that add name and is it a cell phone or home phone and such." Which was helpful. it made the process faster.
"Anything else? I mean what else do these phones do?"

Athene nodded “True, but in my experience it’s probably pointless trying to ask them. The ones I’ve met to talk to have either been weird or have tried to kill me.” It didn’t really make for a conversation. “And well pressing the scan button sometimes brings up dots on the screen,” Athene said quietly in answer to Chaldene’s question about what else the phone could do, pressing the button in question as he spoke, two dots appearing on his phone’s screen as he did so. “I don’t really know what its purpose is though” he admitted before going on to add “The phone can also take you to your home world – Chaldene in your case and Athene in mine and this” he indicated the pearl phone charm hanging off his phone “Will help take you to the Moon, although we can’t always get there.”

"Yeah...doesn't sound like the sort of people you can ask questions of. Rather disappointing in a way. I would like to know, I mean just to have a clue - even if it is bad." It was his want to know things, to learn everything he could from both sides, which had him wanting to know what the need was for star seeds and energy, there had to be a reason after all.
"Well..do you know who the dots are or what they are?" He asked while inspecting the others phone, without touching it of course. It seemed the other didn't know...too bad. Maybe someone else would? He'd have to remember to ask someone about that.
"The moon...I don't have one of those charms..." He said slowly while he bent to inspect the charm hanging from the others phone. "And Chaldene...I'm not even sure what Chaldene is. I've been too busy to look it up..." Feeling some embarrassment over this. He should have, or could have, looked it up rather than doing other things online. He'd do it tonight, it wouldn't take long anyway.

"Well Athene's an asteroid apparently according to what I've managed to look up, but there's not really much information about it" and Athene had only visted there once with Polaris. He absently tugged on a bit of his hair when Chaldene mentioned that he didn't have a phone charm, before admitting "Mine just appeared on the phone." He looked thoughtful as he added "But mayhaps one of the guardian cats can tell you how to get one or maybe even give you one." It was only a guess on his part, but the cats did give them the phones so Athene reckoned that they might now how Chaldene could get a mobile phone charm. "But if you want to see then I can take you" he hesitated. "That is if you want me to take you."

Maybe, if he was lucky, he'd learn more about Chaldene tonight. More than just what it was but where it was, maybe how far from Earth it was. It would be nice to have an idea of where it was, especially if he ever decided to go and visit. He would like to know how far from Earth he'd be, though the idea of being in space was scary. it went against science and everything he'd ever read and learned and/or been taught. It would take getting used to, time to accept the concept, before he went to visit. And then when he was ready to go he knew he'd bring someone with him - maybe Sheena?
"I'll talk to Sheena, whenever I see her next, maybe she can ummm...give me one of those charms." Maybe he'd ask when he was ready, and open, to the idea of going into space. Why get it when he wasn't ready for it? And that was if he could even get one from her.
"Umm...sure but not tonight. But yeah, when I'm up to the idea of space travel. I'll talk to you about it and we can go. I don't know what to expect...I mean what could be up there?" He asked, unsure if he wanted to know.

"On the Moon?" Athene asked not sure if Chaldene was referring to the Moon or his own earlier mention of the asteroid with which he shared his name. "Well there's a castle and gardens, albeit wild and overgrown gardens." A slight quiet smile "But you're right, it's probably another night thing." For a start it was growing late and Athene was aware that he had to back home before his cousin got home from the late shift she was working. His smile turned slightly rueful "Besides the Moon's not somewhere we can go all the time anyway, it only works when the charm's really glowing" he admitted quietly, before adding. "The offer still stands though, you can send me a message via the senshi phone if you ever want me to take you."

"Yeah - the moon." He said, wanting to clarify since it seemed he'd confused the other. Nodding his head to the others words he ran his fingers through the dark fringe which fell over the band on his head, what should he call the band about his head? It wasn't a tiara but what else could he call it? "A castle...like the type in Europe?" He asked with honest curiosity in his voice. "Like with turrets and towers and all those things?" He asked, wanting to see if it had those things and what else it might have. "Wild and overgrown can be nice...in a natural sort of way." Plus nature was wild anyway, so in a way it wasn't bad to see it as it should be...and at least some of the time. Sometimes it looked too overgrown and impossible to enjoy.
"Umm yeah - when it's glowing. Hopefully by then I'm a little more...settled into things. I'll be sure to ask you though." The fact the other had offered had sort of assured that Chaldene would take him up on it, if only because he felt a sort of loyalty to the others words. It was like he felt a need to take up the others offer or betray him somehow y having someone else take him. So the long haired senshi would get a call from Chaldene - at some point.
"This is where we part ways - right?" He asked, as if unsure if the conversation was over. It was a social que he often missed. He had a habit, if left to his own devices, to not know when a conversation was dead or when someone was trying to leave/end a conversation. He wasn't good with those sorts of things.

Athene thought it over "Not European no" he said at last shaking his head, although he hadn't visited any castles over in mainland Europe, the castle hasn't really resembled the castles back in Britain and Britain counted as Europe - it was part of the European continent at any rate. "And I guess it is" he added in answer to Chaldene's question about them parting ways. "Unless you have any questions for me?" Actually to be honest it was about time he headed back, but Athene figured that he could hang around a little longer if needed and probably still managed to get himself back and in before his cousin got back.

So not like the castles in Europe...then what was it like? There were several styles that due to size perhaps could be called a castle, although the general style made a castle just that - right? He'd have to see this moon castle - just not yet. But now he would wonder, for a good while, over what it could look like and what it was made from and such. Beyond that he would wonder why no one saw it, when people landed on the moon or used telescopes or anything else. But he was slowly learning that magic could do a lot, what couldn't magic affect?
"No - no questions." He said nodding his head as he glanced around them. He should head home and get some rest, he had things to think about anyway.
"Umm...thanks for the information and I'll see you again." He said hesitating on some of his words before he quickly added to what he'd just said. "And have a good night." Think we can finish it with a post form you. ^_^

"Sure" Athene said quietly, nodding at Chaldene's mention of seeing him again. "I don't have a particular patrol route but you can always send me a message via your senshi phone." He gave a slight smile at the other's mention of having a good night "Thanks, I hope you have a pleasant night too." It was about time for him to head home too - at least if he was to manage beat Saffy in it was - which in the interest of avoiding questions he didn't particularly want to answer he was only too keen to do. A slight wave farewell and then Athene was off, as he set a path that would take him homeward bound.
