Hunahpu blinked down at the female, his eyes flickering with curiosity. He could see her actually shift back, the fear enter her eyes and form. It was easily trackable and noticeable. After all, the stallion lived off instincts and primal need. He knew when a creature feared him, could smell it in the air. Taste it. His nose twitched at the smell, and an almost distasteful look shifted onto his features. It soon ended though, controlling his emotions. He blinked down at her before tilting his head slowly to the side, confusiong entering his eyes again as his bows pulled together. What the hell was she talking about? He kept hearing his name, as well as his brothes. And something about a… st… stow rey? What was a stow rey?
At the mention of the temple ( which he only knew because she had looked over his shoulder ), he looked back. Hunahpu blinked toward his home, eyes lingering over the peak he could see from his current location. His temple was his home... his and Xbalanque. He breathed out a grunt, before looking back down at her and stared. She seemed sad after saying something about the Goddess of Sleep, and then some slur that he couldn’t understand. Frowning, Hunahpu dipped his head for a moment, before he looked back up, and then glanced around the nearby trees.
After a moment, Hunahpu wandered quietly toward the forest. He looked around, eyes flickering, before rearing up toward a tree, claws slashing at the air. He leaned his head up and plucked a white flower from the tree, before going back on all four, and walked back over toward the mare. He leaned, carefully placing it by her ear, before taking a step back and stared down toward the mare once more. He dipped his head slightly, before murmuring lightly, his voice taking on a rather gentle tone. ”Usted no debe ser alterado. Las lágrimas sólo combustible Tlaloque. Xochiquetzal no se complace en ver a una mujer fuerte en ese estado... No se turbe vuestro corazón.” He stated, eyes flickering to stare into her eyes, as much as he could see through the bangs.
-----
[[ You should not be upset. Tears will only fuel Tlaloque. Xochiquetzal would not be pleased to see such a strong woman in such a state... Do not be upset.
Tlaloque is the God of Drops Xochiquetzal is the goddess of fertility, beauty, female sexual power, protection of young mothers, pregnancy, childbirth, and women's crafts. ]]

Ah'Uaynih watched him, her distress turning into confusion as she watched the large stallion turn away from her. Was he tired of her already? Should she leave? For some reason this made her feel rather unhappy. Don't leave, she thought. Don't leave me alone. She stepped forward to follow him, but stopped as she watched the large stallion, Hunahpu, rear up into the tall trees, his claws reaching outward like daggers in the air. It was almost scary to see, but then she watched as he delicately took a white flower from the tree's laden branches, plucking it like one plucks a flower from the ground - with ease and gentleness.
How could someone so huge be so gentle?
She stepped back as the male came toward him, her ears lowering. But again, shock filled her. Hunahpu leaned down and lightly placed the flower by her ear. What? What was this? Her heart gave a flutter at this gesture. Was he cheering her up? He spoke then, but again, the words were unintelligible, yet she could sense the meaning behind them. Cheer up, they seemed to say. She wondered what exactly he said.
She looked up at him, his eyes as a green as the emeralds that bedazzled her in her youth. She tried not to feel her heart flipflopping in her chest, it felt strange to have someone be so kind to her.
Lightly, she leaned as far up as she could, standing on the edge of her hooves to reach his face. She gently nosed his snout - or rather his chin which was what she could reach for her short stature.
Stepping back quickly, she cleared her throat, her face burning with light embarrassment. "Uhmm. Hunahpu. Kind. Thank you." She tried to make her words slow and put as much meaning behind each as she could. Speaking to someone who could not understand was hard! She nodded her head, feeling the little flower against her ear. Ahni had never received a gift, especially from someone who inherently was a stranger to her.
She fluttered her wings a little, trying to calm herself. Look at her acting like a filly! So strange! "Hunahpu is... well..." She danced backward, shaking her head with a small giggle.

The large stallion glanced down at her easily. He gauged her reaction to the flower easily. She was in awe, it seemed. When she stepped away from him, Hunahpu was worried for a few moments. But, she quickly recovered. It was that that he noted the shock. She didn't seem to be certain what was going on; just as he was confused. His head tilted to the side as he watched her with a critical stare. When she seemed to lift herself as far as she could on her hooves, Hunahpu lowered his head slightly. He felt the brush of her nose against his chin, and smiled toward her to help her to encourage her to being okay. It was then she stepped back again, and Hunahpu perked his ears to hear her better. His wings shifted, before folding lightly against his back, easily pressing flat to his sides.
The only part of her talking he understood was his name. Hunahpu's brows pulled together in confusion, and for a moment, he was ready to question what she was saying. But, he didn't. Instead, he shifted his stance to turn toward the temple in the distance. His tail flicked for a moment, before he glanced back down at her. Lowering his head to the point where it was eye-level with her, Hunahpu smiled gently, before nodding his head toward the temple; a form of invitation for her to come along so that she could rest somewhere safe. For some reason, the stallion was worried about her wandering the jungle when the sun set. He nodded his head toward her, before starting forward once more, and began to walk toward the temple.

Ahni couldn't stop her heart from fluttering like moth's wings in her chest. It was an uncomfortable, unfamiliar feeling; she was not used to having attention turned toward her. No, she was normally one to slink among the shadows waiting like a jaguar to strike. Yet here she was acting like a little tipsy teen in love. She wasn't quite certain how to process the feeling that made her limbs warm with quickened blood and her heart race out a staccato tune in her chest.
Blinking her golden eyes beneath her long green-hued bangs, she watched the large male's actions, taking into account that he seemed so very calm as he beckoned her to follow him, turning every so often to make sure she would follow after him.
Should she?
After a moment's thought, she decided that she would follow him, though she questioned what it was lead her to want to. She lightly stepped through the coarse grass to follow after him, her own small hoof-steps incredibly dwarfed next to the deep indentations he left in his wake with each step. It was an oddly comforting thought that this giant creature seemed to be almost amusingly gentle around her.
She trotted a little faster to catch up with Hunahpu, finding herself having to take longer strides to match his. So tall! She had definitely never met a stallion so tall, then again she hadn't really made it a point to introduce herself to others... Hah!
"Where?" She said with a curious look up at him, taking in his handsome face with a careful gaze, wondering where it was they were going.
