Gabby's hands barely had time to move when she threw herself at him, startling him with the hug. He was used to hugs by now, and he didn't mind them as much, but he hadn't expected it so suddenly from her. Consequently, he'd barely managed to wrap his arms around her to reciprocate before she ripped away and ran, leaving his hands frozen in mid air and his heart clenching with weird emotions. Why did she have to run away? Sure, he'd been telling her a sort of goodbye, but.. somehow he hadn't been ready for that.

Still, as his hands dropped down to his sides, and he took a few steps back until his back hit the corkboard and flattened him against the wall, his anxiety settled into something a little less painful. At least she wasn't upset with him. She definitely could have been upset with him. She'd even thanked him.. though for the life of him he couldn't imagine why. All that mattered was that she wasn't mad.. and that hopefully, she'd enjoyed it as much as he did.

He flopped his head to the side, resting on a raised portion of the wall, and rose his hand up to wave lazily at the far away, disappearing sight of the ghoul. On his face was a goofy little smile.
