While Leo admired Zurine’s pieces, carefully looking over each one, Ethiriel clung lightly to the Frei in question. Her expression had softened but a smile blessed her rosy lips. ”It is not an issue,” she assured, her eyes resting on Zurine’s vague outline. ”All is well.”
”How long have you been painting?” Leo asked, digging out his camera and giving the snowy Frei a passing glance, asking permission on whether or not he was allowed to take pictures or not. ”I’m not really a master of art by any means but these are nice.”
While it seemed like her intent was to show off for Ethiriel, sadly she wasn’t able to enjoy the sights of pretty snowcaps and landscapes that her guardian got to bask in. Even though it would have been a courtesy to look away, her eyes remained on her Raeven companion in the meantime.

Zurine nodded, not minding photographs, and giving him permission without saying so. "My guardian bought me the paints... a couple of years ago," she said thoughtfully, pondering how far she'd come. It was a pleasing thought to her, that she'd shown some progress. Her eyes landed on Ethiriel after a moment, and she noticed that the other frei wasn't looking. For a moment she was confused, but then she turned her own dark eyes to the tea frei's pale ones, noticing that she wasn't focusing on much of anything, even when she tilted her head and smiled shyly.
"I... think I might have missed something," Zuri said very softly. "A-and you... Forgive me if this is rude, but... You... can't see me, can you?"

Leonard took her permission eagerly; he wasn’t so much excited about the paintings themselves as he was the fact that it was a Raeven who created such sights. They were just like humans, he was full aware, but anything one of them did was so much more exciting than a human in his opinion. To him, these were far greater than the works of mankind.
It was kind of silly.
With Zurine’s question Ethiriel closed her eyes gently, the smile still on her lips. ”Indeed, I cannot,” she confirmed, her grip on her companion loosening slightly. ”I apologize that you have brought me all this way to see your work for naught.”

Turning her full attention to Ethiriel, Zurine smiled shyly. "I'm sorry I didn't catch on sooner," she said a little awkwardly. "But... I am glad you came with me anyway. Even if you can't see it, I'm happy that it gave me the ability to meet you!" She gently squeezed where her hand lay, tilting her head. "I hope you didn't mind it so much. A-and... that we can still be friends maybe, even though I did something... quite foolish?" Her embarrassment flushed her cheeks with cool blue.

”It is quite alright, Miss Zurine, there is no harm done,” Ethiriel said with a gentle smile, offering a squeeze to the other frei’s hand. ”I would greatly appreciate your friendship.”
Leo, still enthralled with the entire situation, finally tore himself away from his original attention to glance at his watch – it was getting late and he knew they would need to leave soon. ”Hey,” he mumbled, taking a moment to look away from his watch and back to the two ladies. ”Ethiriel, it’s getting late,” he said, tapping on his watch – not so much for Ethiriel’s sake but for Zurine so that she could get the same gist.
Ethiriel nodded, not at Leo but to him, before giving Zurine another gentle squeeze. ”I do hope we shall meet again, Miss Zurine. It was a pleasure,” she cooed, giving another smile.

Zurine smiled happily back up at Ethiriel. "I hope so, too," she said softly, gently patting the top of Eth's hand with her own gentle, cool one. Her expression was soft and a little enchanted with her soft-spoken new friend, and she really rather hoped they would. "A-ah -- here, take this--" She reached over to get a card, and pressed it into Eth's hand delicately. It was fine, heavy paper, made with flowers and seeds pressed into the fibers. "Y-you can have your guardian call this number." It was hers. Phiel had told her to include it with every purchase in case someone had questions, and it was convenient now. "That way we can meet up again soon..."NeonMace If you like, we can call that an end, or you can wrap up in one more post? :3
