Orah hmmed in thought as she picked a direction and started walking.
"I don't have any particular place I wanna go, so unless you do, maybe we just start here and go around. If we see something interesting, we go in, otherwise we just go around this floor and then head up to the next one?" She said as she turned to her friend, her boots making soft clunks on the carpet as she walked.
Honestly, she was just happy to be mall trolling with a friend. What they did really didn't matter to her, because she'd be happy with anything. When she thought about it, it was almost pathetic, but really... she didn't get to do this much at all. It was okay to just sit back and enjoy it.
"I'm hoping to find a little present for my dad and brother, that's pretty much the extent of what I'm looking for. The rest is all just window shopping for the fun of it." Orah said as they passed a gourmet cheese shop and a tourist souvenir shop.

Anella was just glad to be out; they could have gone shopping for computer paper and she would have called it a good day. She could go shopping on her own, any day. This wasn't about shopping, though. This was about getting out—being human. Making friends with someone who once had a normal life, same as her. Someone who had a secret life, behind the façade of just a normal girl. Whatever that even was.
There wasn't anything she needed—window shopping was sounding as good as anything to her. She was more than happy to just drift along as Orah did her shopping. "Sounds good to me!"
It was just nice to take a break from all the knight-senshi business. It was nice to know that beneath all those costumes, they were people. And they needed a break every now and then.

Taking their time shopping, as Orah had nothing else planned for the day, the pair spent quite a few hours window shopping. The stores that caught their eye, they went into and browsed, but for the most part it was a lot of wandering, chatting as they went.
Orah filled Anella in on her family, offering up funny stories about her father and brother, and explaining that her mother had died when she was very little, which was why they lived here in Destiny City and ran a flower shop. She told her about the first time she'd awakened, about being attacked by a youma and awakened by Poseidon into Sailor Ida. Their powered stories were probably pretty similar, but that was okay, it was good to know she wasn't alone in this 'magical girl' life.
If Anella cared to hear it, she even talked about her school and what it was like being a highschool while fighting monsters on the side. Her chior had a concert in a couple of weeks that they were practicing for and she invited her friend to come if she wanted to. The concert chior might be a little boring to watch, but the pop chior had some of the new, popular music to perform.
By the time Orah was tired enough to be ready to call it day, she felt like she'd told Anella pretty much everything there was to know about her, and probably a few things she'd never told anyone else. When you didn't have a girl friend to talk to, there were just some things you couldn't tell your father or brother, or really anyone. She felt like she'd been talking for hours as they returned to the food court for smoothies and Orah really couldn't think of a time she had spent this much time talking... well...ever.
"I think my feet are going to fall off." She laughed as she flopped down in a chair.Kyuseisha no Hikari Fast Forward! Feel free to have Anella sharing whatever you like, Orah certainly won't hog the conversation to herself. xD

"Then that means we did a good job!" Anella laughed; she didn't care if her feet was sore or if she was going to have a bruise from toting around her heavy purse for so long—she had enjoyed today. Hanging out with Orah was a delight—and was just what she needed to boost her spirits. Getting to know the girl had been fun, and she enjoyed listening as much as she enjoyed talking. She had her own fair share of stories to tell but would have been lying if she said she enjoyed telling them more than she'd enjoyed listening. Choir might not have been her thing, but she was more than eager to come see Orah's performance. It was easy to be enthusiastic—Orah was the type of person she wanted to keep in her pocket and pull out whenever she needed a boost to her spirits.
She was already fishing out money for the smoothies when she went on to say, "We have to do this again, Orah. I can't remember a time I had so much fun! I almost forgot what it was like to just pal around at the mall. You're a lot of fun, you know that?"

Orah blushed even as she smiled, almost burying her mouth in her smoothie to hide her embarrassment.
"I'm only fun 'cause you're here. I dunno... you make it easier to loosen up, you know?" She said around her straw. And it was true too. She felt more at ease with Anella than she did with really anyone, even for someone who was supposedly friends with everyone she met. Maybe that was just the difference between real friends and just acquaintances. Glancing at her watch, the teen sighed.
"I'm afraid I need to head home now. Its been so much fun, but I have homework and chores to do." She said as she got up slowly, her drink cradled in her hands. "I had a lot of fun, Anella. I want to do this again soon too."

Anella still wore a complacent smile and nodded in Orah's direction. "Good luck with that those! I definitely enjoyed myself enough to want to do this again, so you take care and get yourself home safe, all right! I'll text you later."
She waved, adjusting her cargo. Ultimately, she was ready to head home, herself; all this walking around and chatting had been delightful, but she was already missing her dog. She had needed this—more than she might have been willing to admit. A pressure had been building up ever since she'd started in this whole war, and it was the little things—things like this that kept her grounded, sane. For the first time in a while, she felt at peace again.
