While he wasn't as cavalier about them as some riders tended to be, Set'al did enjoy Flights, most of the time, although he was now wondering if he should have disclosed that in this particular situation, at this particular time - and while he hadn't outright said that he did, well, he pretty much had. Shards, why couldn't he have thought about that more before he'd said it?
He kicked himself for it, but the miserable thoughts circling through his head were soon mercifully interrupted when she confirmed that she had, indeed, meant what she said. She- really? Really? Though his own face was still quite red, the painfully confused expression was usurped by a big, stupid smile.
Say something, you dimglow.
Oh. Right. "I'd like that." Okay, that was probably not the ideal response. "I mean, you know, if- if that's what you want, I'd be happy t-"
That wasn't right, either! The bronzerider swore and gave up. "I'm going to stop now, before I give you a reason to change your mind."
But it's getting so good, Pipith 'protested' with a chuckle of his own. I'm sure they'll sort it out soon enough.

Oh Faranth! Maybe she should have never said anything in the first place? Or better yet, shouldn't have come dump all this on her friend. One of her closest friends, aside from Kindra. Except... even thinking of taking back anything she said felt wrong. And not just the, 'Hey, you're a shardin' a**!' type of wrong. Did... maybe. No. Nonono! She was not letting her mind go anywhere near those thoughts! Narisa didn't want... what, exactly?

Wait... he was smiling. That big and ridiculous smile. That turned his features into something rather attractive. And he... he was agreeing! That was agreement, right? Totally was. Narisa couldn't help the returning smile that curled her lips up. She laughed, knowing exactly what he meant. "That should probably apply to both of us." She managed to get out in a relatively normal voice.
Rising from the chair, Narisa walked over to lean down and place a very innocent kiss on his cheek. Like a sibling might do. "Y'know... I am totally going to owe you big... " She teased.
Cepheith snickered, shifting herself a little until she was comfortable with no plans of moving. Ah, I think they may have figured it out. Or at least a bit of it. Although mine still has funny thoughts swimming around her head. The Gold added.

The laughter worried him for a fleeting moment, but he quickly reminded himself - again - that Narisa wouldn't play this kind of joke, which meant she was probably not laughing at him. Well, maybe a little, or at the both of them. He let out a breath of relief and laughed as well, which went a long way towards calming the sudden case of nerves he'd developed when his friend had first walked in.
His face even started to return to its normal color, and he agreed, "It's probably for the best." Of course, just as he was starting to relax, she had to come over and kiss his cheek. Innocent or not, he flushed again and fumbled with how to respond. Shards, when had it gotten hot in here? He needed air! And something amusing to say, but his poor brain was still a bit bogged down. He tried, though. "Yes, you are. It's a terrible imposition! You know how busy I am. I'll have to change my plans, clear my schedule..."
Pipith thrummed his contentment, beyond pleased to be beside his Queen, and - as much as he'd been amused by it all - pleased that Theirs had sorted things out, more or less. His really had been on the verge of making a fool of himself. Mine does, too. But he is happy. I am glad.

If she noticed the effect that innocent little kiss had on her friend, she didn't comment on it. Or tried really hard not to notice. There might have been a faint flush still on her cheeks afterwards too. But thankfully, Set'al recovered quick enough and she grasped onto that, ignoring how warm it was getting. That was just Trine weather, right?!
Narisa snorted at him, gently punching his arm. "I'm so terribly sorry! I know how busy your schedule is." She said airily. "You'll just have to cancel on that extra sleep." This felt much more normal, their typical teasing and bantering. It helped to ease all the massive awkward floating about. But Narisa couldn't deny, a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders with his agreement. Oh she was still quite nervous, for other reasons, but... he'd be there.
Listening to her Bronze's thrumming was relaxing and made the Queen sigh deeply in her own contentment. Cepheith was happy to just stay where she was with Pipith, keeping a portion of her mind still focused on what Theirs were doing. For amusements sake. I am happy. And glad for ours. She said sweetly, then added, Though I can't wait to see how funny they get... soon. Yes. Soon. She could feel it. It would happen soon. Until then... she had a Pipith.
