A shaking earth was the last sign Uuni needed. The civilian was leaping to her feet, sprinting past the Negaverse lieutenant. She'd been in an earthquake before, and when things started shaking, you got the ******** away from the s**t that fell. Because, if it hit you, your survival rating was about 10 times less than being hit with a spear. No secret to anyone, the concrete building was not likely to withstand anything over a magnitude of five.
By the time Painite snarled, Uuni had her arm underneath Ida's. She was no master of strength. Had Ida lost consciousness, Uuni would likely have had to leave her there. At the moment, she was still seriously debating it.
"Stand the ******** up, you dumbass."
They were getting the hell out of here, right now.
"s**t, not another one." It was out of her mouth before she had the chance to censor it (not that she would have). "I'm so over today."(( Oops, typo. Fixed. ))

Chaonis eyed the duo, seeing Ida in tears and the other girl looking like she was about to explode from stress. The shaking, at least, had stopped. Which was good, because his attack was not something he could actually control: so if something had broken or fallen on them, he wouldn't have been able to stop it.
That was just the risk he took. He was the Senshi of Danger, after all. Even being saved by him was dangerous.
"Chill out you guys, you're safe now. I'm one of the good guys. You need to go to the hospital or something?" He moved a bit closer, eying the two of them. He could see the blood on the floor, but with them so close he couldn't see who was bleeding more.
"We should get out of here," he said, moving to help support Ida, "in case that nega b***h comes back."

Ida hiccuped as her sobbing slowed, wincing as Myr pulled her up by her arm. She kept her arm pressed to her side, hunched over it as movement came with stabbing pain.
"I'm sorry... " She said in a wavering voice, trying to force herself into a calmer state and keep the world from spinning. It was hard though, she was really not the most stoic person and that was a lot of blood on the ground. "Please... my dad can't find out. The hospital will tell him... call Anella instead. I can stay with her..."
She tried to lift her phone, starting to shake a little as she tried to thumb up her friend's number.

As much as Uuni would have liked to argue with the Eternal on safe, she didn't have the time or the care to march down that arduous path.
"No s**t, sir." The phrase summed up everything Chaonis had said for the last minute, while she sat there panting, blood sticking to some of the only clothes she owned. Thank the heavens they were dark.
"Because your dad surely isn't going to be suspicious when you bleed all over his floor." Just how much flesh had that spear taken off? Uuni wasn't really inclined to look.
"Here," Uuni said, staring straight at their helpful Senshi. She shifted slightly indicating that he should take Ida from her. "I'm ready to start walking. I don't suppose you can do that teleporting trick, can you?" That would be just wonderful. But Uuni had her best bet on no, since this was a terrible day.
"Give me that." Uuni was staring heatedly at Ida's phone. If Ida could barely dial a number, trying to explain things through a phone conversation was surely out of her range.
Damn Senshi.

Chaonis frowned and moved to take Ida. He was able to support her on his own, moving to pick her up into his arms rather than let her dangle off his shoulder. He nodded at the other girl, not knowing who she was but not really finding it the time to ask.
"Listen, I'll take care of her, alright? You should get yourself some place safe, in case that negaverser is still around here somewhere. She's probably want to kill you."
In case she hadn't been worrying about that before. He looked down at Ida, and almost looked concerned, though his expression was rather set in a scowl now. He was really getting tired of the negaverse hurting his friends.
Really tired of it.
In fact, he was going to have to do something about it.

Being picked up like that was horribly embarrassing... and double that because it was Chaonis doing the picking up. What blood Ida had left seemed to flood into her face and she squirmed in protest.
"Wait..." She mumbled half-heartedly as she reached for her phone with her free hand. She needed to call Aventine... her friend had said; if she ever couldn't go home, for whatever reason, that Ida could stay with her. If there was ever a time to take her up on that offer, now was it. "I need to call Aventine. Take me to her place..." Hopefully, the rugby-playing girl knew something about first-aid... maybe even stitches, which she would probably need.
Now that the fight was over, Ida very badly wanted to power down, but... she needed to make the call first. She was so tired... emotionally and physically drained by the terror and struggle. This was definitely going to be a day she would never forget, and she suspected the conflict wasn't over, even if she was safe for now.

(( Sorry about the delay, guys! Scatterbrained this week, and thought I'd responded. This should be wrap on my end. )) "Wanting to kill me is an understatement." More like, cut down the middle and eat her intestines! b***h was crazy.
"All offense intended, you're probably better fit to be making that call," the brunette added as an afterthought. The flower-pumping senshi looked like she was likely to mistake macaroni for a peanut.
The brunette gave a squinting gaze at the senshi, side coated in blood, and did not bother to hide her wrinkled face. "You better live through this. You owe me a new outfit." If Uuni was joking, it was not apparent in her voice.
Casting one last look at Chaonis, she left to go find her shoes. It was time to find a good place to power up and walk away calmly. If that crazy woman came back, Uuni would rather not be in a recognizeable form.

Chaonis watched the other girl walk away, arching an eyebrow but at least appreciating her blunt tones. He was rather like that himself, so he could hardly fault her for it. Anyway, she had nearly gotten skewered.
He'd want to get the hell out of there, too.
He wasn't sure who Aventine was or how to get to her place, but if Ida stopped squirming and stayed conscious enough to give him directions, he'd take her where ever she wanted to go.
He started walking as she struggled with her phone, only setting her down to tear off some of his caution tape and wrap it around her wound to keep her from bleeding more. He then picked her up again and let her lead him to where she needed to go. He didn't tease her about it: this was something he was there to do.

Ida nearly passed out when he stood her up to wrap her side, her head swimming as she pulled up Ave's number and hit the call button. She made it as far as 'I need directions' before things darkened and she had to hold the phone up to Chaonis' ear. She wasn't going to be able to remember anything like this, so it was better off being a one to one conversation.
"Thank you." She said when she could finally hang up the phone, feeling exhausted and hurting.
It was horribly embarrassing to be carried like this, but part of her was glad she had the eternal to rely on when she needed him. He would get her to Anella's house and she trusted her friend to take care of her from there.Done! Characters: Ida, Myrkviðr, Painite, & Chaonis
