Maia smiled at Lassell, feeling a bit relieved to hear his words. It made her feel like she was getting some where in the war, for their side, even if it was a bit slowly. "Thanks, that's really good to hear. Really."
She gave a small laugh at his agreement to stay out of the hospital and nodded. If she had any say in the matter, she would make sure it didn't happen, even if she knew realistically it very well might. "I'm going to hold you to that," she said with a jokingly with a light grin before he face took on a more neutral expression. "Sometimes, but I didn't use to. It's been a long rode, but I feel like I'm getting somewhere now, so I enjoy it more. Plus being the Senshi of Song, sort of feels like destiny. I have always loved song and music."
When Lassell assumed the energy they felt was a youma, she nodded with a smile. "That right. It's probably below us on the ground somewhere," she said following Lassell to the next roof. "Let's get down to the ground. Use the fire escape," she said not really like the idea of Lassell jumping straight down from their current height. She jumped onto the fire escape on the next building expertly landing half way down before jumping the rest of the way to the ground.

Lassell, followed her down the fire escape and from behind her movements were fluid, I guess that came with being in ballet and what not. "my pleasure" he put in politely. The idea of Maia helping him through his new found nightlife, he had to thank her in some way. He would figure that out later.
"you've known me long enough to know that I do keep my word" he put in as he made his way down the fire escape "I would imagine it was a big change for you...well for anyone really knowing you're a soldier of justice" he put in. "well, perhaps we can keep up this partnership after you help me figure everything out, that is only if you want to" he told her.
He grabbed the last fire escape railing with a hand and leapt over it before landing on the ground beside her, he dusted off his hands. "remind me to thank you after you've taught me the basics" he told her before heading in the direction he felt the energy spike "lets go save some civilians" he said enthusiastically and with a smile.

She smiled and nodded, though he hadn't exactly made many promises to her. He had done as he'd said so many years ago and attended Destiny City University, even getting his scholarship. So with that thought in mind she grin, "It is, but friends, helping you along the way makes it a lot easier."
She put a hand on his shoulder, "of course we will stick together. We are friends, a team. Together we can accomplish more and make a stance in this war. I hope to keep many people by my side, helping them to learn and grow."
She turned and headed looking up the alleyway to see the youma coming down towards them. "Sure, I'll remind you. A little later anyway," she said looking toward the glowing youma, that had a vaguely lava lamp feel. It had what appeared to be a cord for a time, glowed bright like a lava lamp and 'lava' blobs traveling about inside it. Body wise it looked like a dog, with bunny ears, no eyes and a jagged mouth.
The youma opened it mouth and spewed hot 'lava' at the pair, making Maia dodge, but still get splashed with the hot gunk anyway. She yelped in pain as part of her tight burned again and her skin turned an angry sunburn red. It stung like a sunburn, but elsewise wasn't to bad. Maia did not however fancy a direct hit.

Lassell, blinked as a the youma came their direction, he held up his hand and his harp appeared. "I suppose that is very true" he agreeded. He tilted his head as he got a look at the youma, it was a weird combo but still a monster of darkness.He glanced at her "well, that's a relief to know and I'm sure you will still do that" he told her.
He dodged the hot boiling lava but reversed his position when the lava had hit Maia, no one hurts his friends on his watch. He ended up in front of her using his harp as a shield which gave her a few seconds to recover from the hit, before running directly towards the youma and grabbed a portion of his jelly like body with a hand and then using his strength to make the monster fall backwards and then leaping over it to the other side "You don't mess with my friends on my watch!" he said. Before he glanced at Maia and nodded his head as a signal for her to use her attack. the monster was restrained for a few seconds.

Maia was glad for Lassell quick movement that allowed her to quickly recover herself. He was quick to action jumping at the youma, who flailed in his grip, spitting hot gunk everywhere in its attempt to escape. Maia needed to be able to stand still to attack, but it was hard to do when dodging 'lava'.
She had to try to move around them in the alley to get behind Lassell and the youma. Something she did not really like because Lassell couldn't see her to dodge. He'd have to rely on her telling him when to move.
She moved as quickly as possible not wanting Lassell to get burned, shuffling around, while dodging 'lava'.
"Ready," she called out once she was in position and called out her attack, "Sweet Harmony." The senshi of song, let the music fill her as always and sang out the notes to her attack watching them fill the air and rush at the target in a tornado of color.
"Move," she shouted to Lassell, so he'd get out of the way.

Lassell, hearing maia let go and dodged out of the way doing a tuck and roll to get out of the way. He stood up when he was a safe distance. Once the attack hit its target he shifted to the balls of his feet and rushed towards Maia to make sure she was alright.
He stopped beside her and studied her burn, it looked really bad "are you alright?" He asked her ready to catch her if she lost her balance from the injury. "We need to put warm water on the burn" he said, he knew for a fact that if he used cold water there was a chance it would blister.

Maia watched the youma slump, which was what they often did went hit with her attack. Lassell was by her side a moment later, asking about her burn, but she shook her head.
"Gotta dust it first," she said walking over to grab a miscellaneous brick she saw lying by a somewhat melted trash can. She picked it up, went over the youma and put it right through the things head, instantly being showered in youma dust.
She sighed happy the ordeal was over and glad they'd taken out what could potentially have been a really nasty youma for an unsuspecting anybody. She looked Lassell and smiled, "I think that enough for one night. Come on, I think a bit of aloe and this mild burn will be just fine. I can show you my laptop when she get to my house."
She turned and jumped back up the fire escape despite her slightly smarting leg, knowing Lassell would fire and made her way back up to the rooftops. This time when she roof jumped she was headed in the direction of her car.

Lassell frowned tightly when she didn't answer his question. He let go of his harp and it disappeared and he followed her up the fire escape.
