Atlas gave her a puzzled expression. "I say that I am not familiar with that name. What is a hedgehog?" He hadn't seen one before.

"Ah. ... Are they good rodent things or bad ones?" 'Good' creatures, of course, were the ones he wasn't supposed to crush. Bad ones... well, he could do whatever he wanted to them and Tekashi was usually happy.

Atlas huffed. "I don't worry." Though he did admit, smashing his hooves into something spiky was not appealing.

Atlas rolled his eyes when she called him 'my leige,' but the expression didn't last. He lightly rested his head across her neck. "I am unsure, but I am glad I do." It kept Tekashi close, something that was always inexplicably wonderful for him. Being with Tekashi was... different.

Atlas smiled slightly as she snuggled close. "I'm glad you allow me to accompany you on your excursions. You are my purpose." Not even his father trumped her in importance anymore.

Atlas's smile grew. "You are poetic today," he commented lightly. "If I had any shred of talent for poetry, I would return the compliments." That type of metaphorical speech was not his strong point. He wasn't so dense that he couldn't understand Tekashi when she spoke poetically, but he had no ability to do so himself. He preferred... simpler speech patterns and to let his actions speak for him. It was easier that way.

"Your prowess in the martial arts always pleases me my knight." Teka grinned at him. He was so delightful. Handsome rugged and the color of dried blood. She remembered when he had been so stiff so long ago in foalhood and how she slowly drew the true male out of him. It pleased her very much to make him happy. In what ways she could.
