To the left. Táo hummed serenely in Pasha's head as she swung her rifle blindingly towards the shadowling and knocked over one of her many hap-hazardous piles of books.
"Noo." She moaned quietly, bemoaning the cruel fate that was currently befalling her room.

Ami moved. The spear only phased through the shadowling, but it seemed to hurt him and it got his attention. The beady yellow eyes focused on her instead of her books.
"Don't touch my s**t." As if the stupid thing could understand her.
"GET OUT OF HERE!!" The Sun Hunter roared, tripping over his own furniture as he swung frantically to try to send the shadowling away from his precious instruments.
There was a giggle and a chittering from his piano. The alarm lights flickered off of Jerry's glasses before he landed a fist firmly against the creature's tiny head, knocking it to the floor.

The little creature was light on its fee, taking the glancing slash of the saw and hobbling on its misshapen feet, the little pitter patter that was drowned out by the siren and highlighting it with flashes of red. The irritation of having an unwanted guest rouse him from his sleep was making his blood boil, snarling at the creature before charging at it again. "How did you even get in here?"

That was it. Next time he saw Ami, he'd harass her about getting runic wards. That Lex guy was doing runic s**t wasn't he? marcus could blackmail him. Or ask Ami to harass him.
Stirring in her sleep, she awoke to the sound of sirens blaring throughout the facility, but barely took note of the yellow eyed critter staring up at her. In fact, it was hard to tell whether or not the sirens really had woken her from her slumber, as she reached down and grabbed the critter, before practically squeezing the hearts out of it. The swift swipe of the shadowlings claws seemed to do the trick, as Kat practically flung the creature across the room when startled awake. "What the hell?!" In her haste to stand up, the sun hunter stumbled from her bed, staring stupidly at the creature she had assaulted.
"Aw man, and I was having a really good dream too.. This had better be good.."

The shadowling rolled to it's tiny feet before biting down- hard on Jerry's ankle. He screamed in rage and pain, toppling backward onto his make-shift coffee-table as the creature darted away....
