PrincessDagger017 Pharaoh Ramases PrincessDagger017 biggrin 3nodding Hope I was of some help. Well when I read your list of pieces, I saw 1st tenor written all over it. Especially when you're doing a song from Jekyll & Hyde. ^__~ I loooove 1st tenors they make me smile. Yeah. We're a dying breed, unfortunately. Like the really low basses. I'm the highest tenor in my choir, able to hit an A before going into head voice. eek eek eek Wow....that's amazing.... how long have you been training for? Singing for almost 16 years, privately for about 8.

My boyfriend is a really low Bass and yes unfortunately you and him are both part of a fading beauty. It seems that you can't get away from 1st Soprano's now a days, but it's rare to find really good ones.

Lucky duck...our Male Choir has a like 2, and our choir/orchestra has 3 (maybe) not like you need to many of them but still... when you have like 40 1st soprano's in the mix it's hard to find the balance sometimes. sweatdrop

But, finding TRUE 1st Sopranos is rare. Same with TRUE 2nd Basses and TRUE 1st Tenors. I'll be honest; I'm not a TRUE 1st Tenor. I've met one of them not too long ago, and they are amazing. I'm just a Baritone w/ an extremely high range. But, we have a TRUE 1st Soprano in our choir. She's able to hit.............geez, I don't even know. But, it's almost to the top of the piano. I'm singing the final piece of Italian (Tornami........) with her.

I have much still to learn though and much training to endure. How long till your recital?

Just a quick update:
30 hours to performance, and scared as hell.
Everything is ready (except for the final song), but I haven't been able to put them all together and won't until tomorrow.
Can you say stressed???

SUCCESS!!!!
After nearly a year and a half of planning and preparation for this performance, it went off with only a couple of hitches (those being beyond my control).
Now, I can focus on my classes again, since I'm technically down to about 12 credits from my 22.
