Elisheva was glad to see Sanuye was enjoying herself, despite the fact that the sisters were currently running away from their birth home.
'Watch where you're going!' she called, laughing again as Sanuye nearly came a cropper at a very large rock, and was relieved to see her stop, though it was a close thing.
Elisheva came to a halt next to her sister.
'You win.' she said, smiling.
'These,' she said, unfurling her wings for a moment, before refolding them.
'Drag me down on the ground. So you'll always be swifter...just, you know, watch for big rocks.'
She kicked the boulder near the ground, tapping it lightly with her hoof and grinning.

Sanuye giggled, looking up at the huge rocky hills before them. They looked so much bigger now that they were closer! But of course, everything looked bigger the first time. She remembered fondly the first time she had been to one of the hills in the herd's territory. She could hardly climb it the first time she had been to it. Perhaps this was the same.
"Well, should we climb, then?" she asked, not all too sure what they should do next. Part of her was eager to see what was on the other side, as well. She smiled at Elisheva, blowing at her bangs habitually and awaiting her older sister's direction. This had been fun so far, she was glad she had gotten out a bit.

'Well, there's a path of sorts around here somewhere.' Elisheva said, circling around the boulder, her tail trailing on the ground behind as she walked. She flicked it, and then snapped at a fly that was buzzing around her head.
'Go'way.' she grumbled, flicking the ear that it gone near, feeling slightly discomfited by the sensation. It soon passed and she concentrated on finding the trail, eventually locating a place that was the start of a wavy line that slowly wound its way up and around the hills.
'This should be okay, we have some climbing to do but shouldn't have to scramble over too many rocks. You ready?' she said, turning to Sanuye.

Sanuye followed the fly's path with her eyes, holding back a laugh as her sister fought it off. It was entertaining to see Eli, who was always so composed, snapping and flicking at something. Sanuye smiled at her sister, thinking she probably could have helped her out but turning her attention to the path.
"I'm ready," she said with a grin. It was a simple adventure but it was exciting nonetheless.
And scary at the same time..."Um...will you go first?" she asked hopefully, blushing again at her silliness. It wasn't as if the path would swallow her up if she stepped on it, but her stomach was turning in a way that made her think it would. She knew Eli would help, especially if she went first.

Elisheva looked at the sort-of path, a crumbly, stone scattered dirt trail that ascended, and eventually faded from sight as she squinted up the hill.
'Of course.' she said, smiling encouragingly to her sister as she tore her gaze from the climb that was before them. Turning back to it, she flicked her tail as she stepped onto the trail, a few loose stones clattering behind her as she walked along it.
She veered off the path for a moment, grabbing a mouthful of the scraggly grass that clung to the hillside before rejoining it. She chewed thoughtfully, and then turned to check that Sanuye was doing okay.
'Alright?' she asked over her shoulder.
'Watch your step on the loose stones. Don't want you turning an ankle.'
