Trevor glanced at Lily and tilted his head to the side "I really need to work on improving my stamina I may be a runner but my stamina isn't that high" he said hating to admit it. He was one never to admit that his stamina was still a little low. Factoring his school practices, is leisure jogging and his night life the level of stamina he had now was not going to cut it. He blew out a breath and focused on the run around the DCU campus.
He pulled out his water bottle and took a couple more drinks before going back to his jogging. He looked over at his friend "you okay? Lily" he asked her as politely as he could, then again him being shirtless was probably the one that was causing her to turn red, he slowed his pace down so he was a couple of paces behind her so she didn't feel nervous.

Lily gave a lightly chuckle and nodded, "Trust me, uh heh heh, it will get better very quickly. Though you won't like the um getting there."
When he slowed, she looked back slightly confused and at his question she literally turned about and started jogging backwards. He plan didn't work at all because she was now fully facing him and looking right at him in all his jogging glory, face flaming.
"I'm fine," she said with a nervous laugh, "I uh, heh, um well you see ... I just kind of noticed something ... I well .. um." She stumbled on all her words and couldn't even get out a full sentence. She ended up turning back around and continuing to run.
She was highly embarrassed. Why did now have to be that moment when she got all tongue tied. "I'm fine, uh really."

Trevor was jogging a couple of paces behind her but then decided that wasn't a good plan so he caught up with her "Someone's a little flustered" he told her playfully. Before he focused on his run forward instead of backward. His plan was to make her less nervous but that just made her more nervous. He held back a chuckle and cleared his throat "You don't seem fine.." he put in gently. He felt bad for making Lily get all flustered and what not.

Lily could only try very very hard not to pay to much attention to Trevor who had caught up to her again while she gathered her thoughts. His comment about her being flustered didn't help her cheeks at all and made her a bit irritated which probably wasn't the desired effect.
"You'd be flustered too, if a cute guy was running about shirtless," she blurted out before her eyes went wide and she cover her mouth realizing what she had just said.
"I mean I mean, you'd be all red in the face to if I ran around without my top on," she said trying to think of something else to say, but only succeeding in putting her foot in her mouth further.
"I didn't mean that either," she said with a huff, "I don't know what I mean."

Trevor paused and smiled lightly "oh..so you think I'm cute now?" he asked her in a teasing tone, he grinned a little. "oh come now..Lily you've seen me shirtless once already" he said but returned to full seriousness "Like I said the first time, if you are uncomfortable with seeing me shirtless all you would have to do is tell me" he put in. "its just running shirtless keeps me cool and prevents me from overheating" he told her before picking up his pace a little bit.

Lily looked to him and gave him a small smile, not really wanting to admit it, but nodded anyway. "Yeah," she said before proceeding to giggle and blush.
She shook her head, "sorry. I don't mean to be like uncomfortable. It's not like I haven't seen it before like all summer. It's just, uh, I don't know. It's just different for some reason. Doesn't help that I'm so proper. Shirtless is for the pool, the beach, the shower, and you're own bedroom."
She closed her eyes for a moment and released a breath, before opening them again. "It's okay, uh, really. I don't want you to be uncomfortable and overheat. Just uh, be aware, that I might stare a little and forget how to talk a little, apparently."
She gave a small laugh before realizing they had made it nearly all the way around the campus. "Hey, we're almost done," she said motioning to the spot where they started not to far off.

Trevor tilted his head to the side "never thought I would hear that word come out of your mouth" he said with a smile "but thank you..glad you think so" he said with a small grin.
"different in a good way or different in a bad way?" he asked her not meaning to pry but still confused at what she meant by it being different. "there are times when you don't need to be proper you know that right" he told her gently. He chuckled lightly before shrugging "well if you say so and that's alright" he told her.
He shifted his gaze to where they were and back where they had started "huh..it seems so" he put in nodding his head in approval at himself.

Lily felt like her face was going to red forever and she really wanted to lock herself in her room and hide away forever at the moment, but she knew she was being way over dramatic. "You're welcome," she said happy that he didn't make to big a deal out of what she said.
"I don't know," she said answering his question, "I don't think it bad though, just very different. And yes I do that. I've learned that being a senshi. It's hardly the best way to behave like a lady," she said with a laugh glancing over at him briefly.
She grinned as the spot came into better view before taking off in a sprint, clearly not tired, "Race you!" She called it out a bit late, so she got a tiny head start, but she didn't really care whether she was won the little sprint, she fully intended to collapse in the grass and rest.

Trevor smiled lightly Lily was always going to be Lily despite what gets her flustered. He was glad he had a friend like Lily, he wished he had more of those but most of his friends were girls. He wasn't even sure why that was the case. He shook his head at himself before taking another drink of his water bottle. He nodded his head agreeing with her "there are some situations that you can't fix with proper manners and then there are others that completely drive you away from proper" he told her.
He chuckled as Lily challenged him to a race to the finish "You're on" he said before sprinting fully towards the finish line. Track and field was one of those races that you had to be the first over the finish to win. He had a delayed start but he managed to catch up with Lily, he focused on getting over the finish line.

She was laughing at Trevor pulled ahead of her and really she didn't mind. She was not powered up and she was no sprinter. She was a ballerina, which didn't really require speed. He beat her easily enough, but she was right behind him.
She collapsed right onto the ground laughing happily and looking up at Trevor. "Looks like you win, this time, but next time you won't be so lucky." She stuck her tongue out at him before smiling, as she tried to catching her breath and slow her racing heart.
That had been a lot of fun, the whole jog, despite her flustered moment when Trevor took of his shirt. Thinking on that she of course went red faced again, but it was not matter.
'I think I need a shower," she said laughing, "I'm all gross and sweaty."

Trevor chuckles lightly and sat down on the grass as he drank some more of his water "well,that was quite a run" he put in before grinning lightly and catching his breath as well. "despite your flustered moment" he told her with a smile "I look forward to the next one" he told her. "You and me both, i need a shower as well" he put in before finishing off the rest of his water and watching the clouds drift by in the sky, he sighed lightly and blew out a breath.
It was definitely a challenging jog but he enjoyed it nonetheless, he ran a hand through his damp hair and closed his eyes to lower his heart rate breathing deeply until he returned to normal. He placed an arm over his closed eyes and focused on returning his breathing to normal. He was definitely tired but also relaxed at the same time.

Lily gave a small giggle and grinned at him, "you're never going to let me live that down are you. I can't help it really." She gave a soft sigh and relaxed on the ground just watching the clouds and enjoying the quiet moment. She definitely wouldn't mind jogging with Trevor again, though she hoped he wouldn't be shirtless every time.
After a few moment she sat up, then stood up. "I think I'm going to head home now and have a shower and possible some dinner after that. I'll see you later in the week okay. Don't forget you're going to come over, so remind me to text you my address."
She smiled and started to walk off, "See ya, Trevor."

Trevor opened his eyes and waved after her "see ya" he said getting to his feet and heading home himself. It was eventful day of running that was for sure. He smiled and walked towards his dorm, he was so going take a shower right when he got in.
