 Mystery grinned watching and listening to Kios. He was entirely unapologetic when he wrote. < Tis more than Augury who know how the Crow flies here. And there are wonders children want to search for even if it is merely chasing a cat thru the garden and to be spoiled with cookies and milk when finished. > Delphine automatically had cookies and milk when she saw any of the children running around here. Augury was no exception but a pleasure to have around.

Cosine bowed her head a little to the young woman/goddess. A habit she had inherited from her asian host. She was pleased to meet any of their kind reborn, or in the process of rebirth.
"Yes, of course i would much rather she came here than wander outside as my son is inclined to do. He keeps escaping to the graveyard." A smirked pulled at the corner of her lips. "Children are indeed a fascinating adventure in themselves, but they grow up all too soon." She smiled fondly at Kios. "But at least now I know where to find you."

 Akakios could not help but frown lightly. "You make it sound like it is all that I do."
....Which was not too far from the truth, to be honest. Expecially when the runes had been involved. He had read, decoded, studied all day, all night - the only thing that truly stopped him was the intervention of the two beside him.

Taj grinned. < Today is workless for Lament. A simple novel bursts with adventure though he has not lacked for those of late. Old goblins behave in the labyrinth with Jareth's absence so Lament has no need of his bow. Nothing dire happens here this day, fat and lazy is the cat. > What was that expression? Move along now. All is well....? But he wanted Lament to explain his bow and the goblins. Or even to turn him red. He was certain Cosine would like to know what he had been up to.
In other words Taj was ensuring that there would be no work today. And he wanted Kios to have to explain about the goblins and his adventures with them. Cosine needed something to hold over her nephew's head after all.

At the mention of books Cosine would smile, yes she knew exactly where to find Kios, or had known. Though if he was hiding within Mysteries rooms then she was hardly likely to find him in the library.
"Oh to have a day off, that would be a fine thing, with my free time I think I would go and hide in the depths of the library." As she deciphered Taj's words written in the air an eyebrow raised and she turned her eyes to her nephew. "Well, what have you been up to? I recognise those names though ..." Who had told her of goblins and the Labyrinth, was it Taj, perhaps her brother, or Lisana. So much had happened between then and now.

"You can just let Taj babysit the kids for a day or two." Ha, take that. Oh, he knew too well that it was now time for explanations, and of course Asedri would not help matters. "Or Ankou could sit back every now and then." Sensitive subject ?
Maybe, but he masked it the best he could.
"It happened not too long after Asedri got Keme's stone. She was just outright snatched by Jareth." And the gods had, of course, not been pleased. "So we went to get her back. I was shown the basics of archery before we left for Aejiss." That he'd shot down a few goblins was not so hard a stretch, honestly.

< Mystery wears the pendant of the goblin crown once more and the goblins mind manners with all. > They had brought back even more people as a result. Cameron and Cadance and the dragon Lore. His rooms were actually quite empty in comparison to what they had been upon returning from Aejiss.
Perhaps he should see who else he could rescue. Perhaps there would be some from where Croix came from. Taj planned to go though he had not been asked directly yet.

Kios's words amused her a little.
"You realise what a contradiction that is. Your Uncle, sit back and relax? I practically have to tie him down." A small, slightly cheeky grin. "He's very good with them though. he and Isidore had quite the adventure, still I do welcome anyone willing to watch them. My temple is nearing completion, building works and curious little gods do not always mix. Though it seems you are keeping yourselves busy. Battling goblins indeed. I am glad they managed to bring you home in one piece Keme and Asedri." The goddess bowed her head slightly towards the gem and girl. It was always good to know there were more among their ranks.

Mystery would simply get swatted on the nose, like a misbehaving kitten would have been.
Yes, that was probably asking too much of his uncle. Lament shook his head lightly. "I figure that the important part is that they do not feel put aside. That they know that their father loves them." Akakios would know a little too much about what he spoke about. Nergal had certainly been rather unwilling to bring him - or his siblings - anywhere. The one time he had been offered to see the Underworld had been more or less bribery to calm him down - and by that time, the young Lament had already little want to see it.
Still, this was a slope he would happy not to travel beyond those statement. "I did not do much, really." Tajne and Tien had done most of it.

< The spirit guide has aid arriving in old valkyrie reclaimed in new forms. > He was speaking specifically of Nath. The death knight was offended by the treatment of those around him by the one who had made him what he once was. He would be diligent though he would play his pranks also. His secret goal was to get Ankou to laugh outright and it amused Taj. Perhaps the change in the valkyrie Skuld would be enough to accomplish such this time.

Another Valkyrie, well she was certainly behind on things, which she imagined might look odd to some, though she knew she would find out about everything the next time she and Ankou had a moment so she was not overly bothered about hearing news about him from a virtual stranger.
"Kios is indeed too modest at times." She agreed. "Too polite perhaps." She half smirked, "Though I would rather he be that than rude and arrogant." Two things she could not stand in anyone. "The three of you will have to let us entertain you in our apartments, if you are close to Kios then you are as good as family to me and I am sure Ankou will feel the same."

"I can certainly agree with that." Keme could not imagine Akakios any different than he was, if he was too much one way then he might as well have been Nageku and the other like his father.
"That sounds lovely." She certainly would not mind seeing Caelia again, the girl really was adorable, and meeting the others.
