Shun didn't answer that. He still didn't really like the idea of Xiu speaking with Lou. As for her next comment, he just sort of scoffed lightly. He wasn't that much older than her, but the baku had a greater sense of innocence than... well.. he's ever really had.
"That depends on who it is," he said simply, "If for whatever reason you were dating Titus or Mac? No. I would not be nice. At all. I'd also have to really wonder about your taste in men for that matter."
He wasn't about to be nice to certain people just because those he was close to happened to like them.

Even Xiu couldn't resist the horrified grimace that spread over her lips at Shun's name drops. Titus and Mac? "I'd question my taste too. Please, please punch me if I ever even consider dating those two, okay?" And if he wouldn't do it, then she was certain that there would be many others willing to dropkick her off a cliff for making such a choice.
But well, assuming that that never happened, she was (hopefully) safe for now.
"But uh, assuming I ever date a guy, and assuming he's...relatively polite, you'd be nice back, right? You and Levi are as close to family as I have at Amity, so it'd be nice if everyone could get along!" Maybe Shun and her someday-potential-boilfriend could even be...what was the word?

Shun would do it too.
"I suppose. You do realize that I'm not really that nice of a guy over all," he said with a shrug, "I don't hold back for anyone... really. If anyone you date ends up not being intimidated by me and turns out to be a decent guy, then there will be no issue."

"You're not a bad guy either though," Xiu was quick to point out, lightly jabbing a finger at his chest, "If you recall, the reason we first started talking was because you accidentally made me drop my lunch and offered to replace it." And then somewhere down the line, she had suddenly decided to adopt him as her big bro.
...Funny how these things happened.
"But I suppose I'll keep that in mind! That being said, you looked like you were off to somewhere before we ran into each other." Oops, had she stalled him from his plans? He had said that he had just finished training, after all. He had probably looking forward to spending the next few hours relaxing. "And ah, right. Er, take care of yourself when you go visit your father, okay? I mean, I'm sure I am not the one who should be saying this, but..."
But she couldn't help but be paranoid.

"I suppose it's all rather subjective," Shun said with a shrug. As far as helping her out that day, he figured he was just in a relatively good mood or something. Hm. That was kind of what happened with Kettil too. It seemed that he had a strange knack of getting people to latch onto him whenever he was in a relatively better mood.
"I had just come from training. I'm not headed anywhere in particular," he stated. As far as her next set of words, he frowned lightly.
"Don't worry about me."
