Well there was some effort to be had when he tucked his head lower to put a lip lock on the female keeping a hand firm on her hip and let the seconds pass before parting for a breath of air. "you know, there might be a few girls who will be jealous of you now."he was allowed to be a little cocky now, rubbing his scruffy jaw on her cheek.

Madison closed her eyes and leaned into the kiss, letting out a happy sigh when they parted. "Pfft. Like that's new. Let me at 'em - I'm pretty much an extra at tearing people to bits. And I didn't learn THAT part here." She felt the most ridiculous glow of contentment. "I believe you mentioned something about a present?"

The vote of encouragement that Leon had in Mad's abilities was nothing short of a nod and a cracked grin that grew with the passing seconds. "Well, just as long as you don't get too catty, otherwise the fellas might want to see a jello wrestling match and I dont want to get in too much trouble knocking them unconscious." the chances that the two of them being violently protective was astounding to lon, and comical to boot, as he shuffled behind the bed to drag out the canvas covered present. "I figured its something that you would like, you and your weapon." he mentioned shyly, second guessing his choice as he lifted off the veil. And showed a red lacquered wooden sword stand. "For the days when he just wants to be out and be presented in a formal manner, in all his manifestations."

"Hey, you could make some serious bank off of that sort of thing. Just charge admission." Madison laughed, then followed him into the room properly. She waited eagerly as he went for the gift, pulling the hair tie out of her ponytail to re-tie it while he moved out.... ... a surprisingly large package. (no not that kind of package. yet.)Her eyes widened as the gift was revealed. "Leon... it's gorgeous," she said, stunned, but also delighted. "For Kouki, too... wow. That's... I'm really touched," she said, earnestly, giving Kouki a mental tug. She felt the soft tingle that meant Kouki was borrowing her senses with his full attention. !She laughed. "Yes, it's for you, silly beast."

The soft rumbling that was in the back of the boxers head grew with the reveal, making Leon snicker in mirth of the childish weapon he had. "My silly dragon made me ask the vendor if they had one for chainsaws." he revealed, scratching absent mindedly at his jaw. "hes jealous that he cant have a shiny stand. but its nice to see that you like it." It was worth all the hoops and red tape to get it done. Just for this moment. The look of surprise and gratitude made all the difference that and now it was going to a good home and out of the mess of a room the the life trainee still had to fix.

"Kouki says thank you," Madison said, after a moment; at least, that was how she was choosing to interpret the serpent-sword's amazed silence. "And - sorry, Nid, people don't generally ceremonially display their chainsaws. Though maybe you could get something custom-made?" Mine is better, Kouki said, instantly. Oh, I see... She wrapped her arms around Leon and squeezed tightly. "Thank you. It's beautiful... so you do have hidden depths after all. I figured you couldn't be 100% beefcake." She grinned up at him.

The idea of custom made greeted the life hunter and is weapons collective sense of hearing. Immediately the grumbles of demanding a custom made stand for him came through. The babbling of it to have wheels and wings on it to beat Kouki's was incessant. "Madison, what have you done?" Leon sighed, chiding the girl lightly and telling Nidhogg to can it. He was going to have to cut his deep sea testing this week short to build a chainsaw stand. how did one even build something like that? He imagined it was going to be a lot of welding. "Hey I have a brain, its just been rattled a lot over the years of boxing." these were facts. He still smiled back at Madison's jest. It was part of their relationship. the idea of it being a declared relationship made his stomach feel funny, in the good way.

"I dunno. What have I done?" she asked, innocently. Then she sobered, taking the tiniest step back. "I just... real quick, Leon, I just... there's one thing I have to know." She took a deep breath. "Is this - um, for you, is this just about the sex, and stuff? I mean-! If it is, um, that's okay... I've had plenty of relationships where it was, and... really, okay, almost all of them. Have been just about that. But if it's not, if it's about more, I'd be... I'd like that. I mean. <********>" she added, with a sigh. "Okay. No. Start over. Is this about more to you than just sex? Because I'd like that... but if it isn't, that'd be... I'd be okay with it. But I'd like more. If that's what you're thinking." She took another deep breath. "Just... making sure we're on the same page, is all. I don't want any more stupid misunderstandings. ********, talking about this s**t is awkward."

It dawned on Leon that madison may not have realized the bout of horror she had released. "Don;t worry about it then, Just be glad you cant hear my weapon now." the stoic male insisted and continued to tune out the voice. -ITS GOING TO HAVE TO HAVE A 20 FOOT WINGSPAN AND STEAM POURING OUT BEHIND IT AND ENOUGH SPACE FOR ME TO RUN ON THE STAND, ARE YOU LISTENING MEATHEAD?-"Nope, not listening to you Nid, go back to your nap." The incessant whining was once again, placed on the mental backburner when the boxer fixated his focus back on the swordwoman who seemed to be on the verge of a mental breakdown. He could practically see her heart beating at a furious pace. "Babe, you're babbling." he declared, putting a hefty hand on each side of her face. It was cute to see her flustered like this. "I think we are on the same page here, really." but she was right, talking about it was awkward. to go from casual flings in the past life that seemed so far away to this. "It seems about time to get into a serious relationship, while we have the chance."

It was an awkward scene, noting how careful madison was with him, and in retrospect, how he was with her, like porcelain. "I know mads." the boxer rumbled back, echoing her sentiment, letting the silence grow between them as he thought about the next step. Just where did you go from here? "Maybe we should get together tomorrow nightand do something, as a couple?" it felt awkward and weird to say, but that was normal between them. He was sure they would have an awkward wedding too one day. ........... it was kind of early to start thinking about weddings.

Leon said, not quite as bluntly as madison did as he cleared his throat, with an appreciative nod at the girl and her words. "No offence taken, I have a brain, its a bit damaged, but it works sometimes." he indicated, tapping the side of his noggin with a carefully placed knuckle. There was no need to cause a self induced concussion, not with his list of head traumas, Nid included. "I think ill stay right in life, and work with the others in monitoring the entire divisions bodily readings."

There was Madison's smart mouth again, the one thing that Leon could not help but rolls his eyes at playfully . "Oh no, you caught me. Whatever shall I do." the stoic hunter fired back in a painfully over acted tone, flailing his arms with the barest of efforts invested in the action as the swordwoman tried to put him in what he imagined was a bear hug. The following question quirked an eyebrow of his, peering back at the girl and her myriad of hidden emotions that always seemed to hide under the surface. "is this your way of asking for sexytimes, and you are just waiting for me to catch on before it gets to the part when you have to be blunt about it?"
