User ImageShawn Stared.
... wait. So they had worms in them that let them do insane s**t with their blood?
Shawn put on some liberal antiseptic on Tegi's cuts.- yeah, it would sting, but an infection EVERYWHERE would be worse. Also dying.
What the ********? Deadman Wonderland had some pretty sanity-breaking things, but this bordered on the bad scifi.
But clearly there were freakish blood powers because, as the a*****e at his feet so KINDLY pointed out... He had seen it on the courtyard. He gave the man a glare.
"Just being honest, and you know what? I needed to put two and two together. So let me get this straight. G Block is full of freaks. You are all from G Block. You call yourselves Deadmen. Does that mean that everybody in G block has this worm branch thing?" He put on extra disinfectant- the perfect revenge. No infection AND he could be slightly cathartic.
"So. You were infected. Is it contagious?" Like, would he catch it from bandaging up this guy's back. He found some ointment- ooo, the good kind! Helped with the healing process. After the antiseptic, it wouldn't hurt. He began bandaging the extensive cuts on this guy, and glared at the newcomer to HIS theater.
Oh great. ******** great. Sword guy.
He watched him warily.
Do you mind not swinging your swords around in here?
Do you mind not cutting him up after I've patched him up?
Do you mind going the ******** away?

Were all questions going through his head that he decided woudl be a bad idea to ask.
instead he glowered at sword guy and pointed at him briefly before getting back to bandaging.
"So. Him. Whats his story."

Tegi winced, flinching as the antiseptic made contact. Coincidentally it seemed like the shock of the stinging sensation made him freeze up instead of sending him running. The real problem was that the Shawn looked really pissed off. Sounded pissed off too. Tegi supposed it was better than the expressionless faces of medical staff.“Of course everyone there has it, that’s what G block is for.” he scoffed between aplications, “at least that’s a reasonabl-OW WHAT THE ********> Tegi whipped around and glared at the other prisoner, injuries sparking and lashing out: Apparently that whole pissed off aura manifested in the form of an extra harsh portion of antiseptic. He didn’t want to turn into a blood wasting shrapnel let alone kill Shawn, but the kid was definitely pushing it. “Do you have a death wish or something? Do it again and you’ll find out first hand if the s**t’s contagious!” he snapped. However, looking at the bottle that was still in the other prisoner’s hand made him change his tone, and the crimson withdrew once more. Having the whole thing poured on him was something he didn’t want to risk. “Sorry sorry sorry, I’m sorry! I just… my branch is influenced by moods and stuff. Kinda hard to keep either under wraps…” Disgusted by his fearful reaction and the fact that he was at the younger prisoner’s mercy he flopped back onto his stomach. Luckily the worst part for his back was over. He tucked away his wrist protectively; not looking forward to having it messed with as well. “To answer your question though it isn’t contagious. You have to be exposed to its source to become a freak like us.” he said, quoting the word ‘freak’ with the fingers on his free hand.

He kept relatively quiet while the other prisoner continued to apply different things and bandage, only speaking up when undertaker started talking to him. “Little bird? Really? Come on undertaker the least you could do is use aliases…” he complained, rolling his eyes. Tegi looked back to Shawn when he stopped and presented another question. Geeze did he have a lot of them. “Well I didn’t exactly ask him- OH! You meant what he is! Hmm…..since normal guards are no match for us I guess they kinda take over the job.” Was that right? Hell if he knew how they worked, all Tegi knew was that their weapons hurt and made branches go flat. Prison dogs on short leashes most of the time. “Being chased around by them is just another thing on the list of s**t we put up with…”

*halfway he leans on the wall* so interesting especially your girlfriend retra was it... *he stares at tegi he has a hand on his swords hilt just in case*

“What are you trying to get at?” he pried. Tegi couldn’t quite put his finger on what the undertaker was hinting at, aside from the two deadmen being close. The term he used was off, but considering how many times they’d saved each other he supposed it was an easy assumption to make. But that’s what friends are for, right? Friends are suppose to care about each other. From what Retra said she’d never really had friends on the outside, and he certainly wasn’t going to let the darker depths of the prison rip her apart if he could help it; Losing people was something he never liked. Wait a minute… Was that what he was implying? There probably wasn't any truth to it, she could defend herself well enough. Hell, the undertaker’s arm was proof of that. But she was right behind me and hasn’t shown up yet… and she had that comatose kid to carry… no shut up shut up that’s stupid! He’s just trying to mess with me! As the thoughts continued to quarrel blood started to slowly flare up from his arms, and simple eye contact with the undertaker hardened, trying to read more into the situation as he waited for the man’s answer. Maybe blurting out the downfall of his branch wasn’t the best idea.

Tegi laughed a little. “What’s wrong? To afraid I’ll go for your throat next time I cut you?” The smirk crossing his lips was a mix of amusement and an unspoken hint that if the man turned he wouldn’t hesitate. Something about him not attacking her yet was reassuring. Maybe she was making a detour to get Amelia off of her shoulders, or maybe even taking care of herself. Tegi obviously wouldn’t follow them to the infirmary if that was the destination that was for sure. Oh what the hell, why not have a little fun while I’m at it? His expression started to twist into something along the lines of sinister, though it still held a childish smile: he hadn’t let his sadistic side loose in quite some time. “Or maybe I should lop off a foot... or a hand! It’s been a while since I’ve severely maimed someone!” he chirped eerily. This was the scary side that caused the most trouble. Being a monster meant people being afraid of him, avoiding him, and that was something he didn't want from everyone that looked his way. He kept an eye on the undertaker, but sent a crimson ribbon over his shoulder to the other prisoner. It's a facade, don't worry. It was a lie Tegi wished he could believe himself. He'd rather be a wolf in sheep's clothing than a demon through and through.

Shawn was listening to the whole exchange with growing aggravation, but he knew he was lucky to be alive after his little... revenge. Still, the guy would be okay. He applied another bandage- trying to arrange it so that it would help support the man's back and muscles so that he would heal properly.
Thank god for guards that did their ******** job.
He started on the other injuries, trying to keep his focus.
Right. So. Deadmen and undertakers. Funny. Someone was being funny in english.
Shawn had other questions, but with these two posturing and growling like dogs, he figured he'd learn more by listening. He stopped and drew back, watching the ribbon of blood warily. Holy s**t. Just holy s**t. Mierdo.
"Is it too much to ask for a moment, a single moment, where nobody is fighting? In my theatre?" he said, sounding strained and chagrined.

That’s his choice now isn’t it? Tegi kept his eyes on the undertaker, waiting for whatever he would say, or whatever move would be made for that matter. Though he didn’t want to think about getting up quite yet he wasn’t willing to stand down either. Well, wrecking the theatre isn’t the best of thanks…Tegi unwrapped the jacket from his wrist and drapped it over the flaring scarlet, keeping the deepest cut open and concealing the branch from the other’s view.“Okay then, but if he makes the wrong choice …” He paused, looking downward. Was it him or was this starting to sound like the penalty game? Tegi shuttered at the thought of what they did to him. No, I’m not the one under the knife this time. It's what I did out there anyways, right? This guy deserves it. As he worked on thinking his way away from panicking his eyes narrowed at the undertaker. “You’re lucky I'm not big on going for organs like those s**t-licks in the other part of wonderland.”

((Thanks! Notifications like that are so much easier to check on ^^))

Retra Smith

Thanks to the prison's directory, Retra managed to find the theatre. As she walked closer she heard voices coming from it. She stopped and listened. Hmm, I recognize those voices. Sounds like that rat pissed Tegi off pretty good she thought. I'm surprised, but relieved, that no fighting occured, yet. Maybe the Undertaker is done for now ? ... I highly doubt it. She took a deep breath, exhaled, then walked into the room. Glancing around she saw Tegi and the blonde kid on top of some lockers, the new comer from earlier and the Undertaker leaning on the wall. " Now, this is quite the reunion," she commented calmly. She then walked towards the lockers, climbed them and sat next to the blonde prisoner. " Sorry i'm late," she said to Tegi and the blonde kid " had to take a detour to drop off our friend,". Turning to the blonde kid she said " Do you mind patching up my calve after you're done with Tegi ? I used some bed sheets as a bandage to help stop the bleeding."

She looked side ways at Tegi " So, what are you two going on about ? And why is our psychotic friend behaving himself all of sudden ? I'm not complaining about it or anything," She may have seemed oblivious to the tension in the room, but, she was aware of it.

Tegi didn’t even notice Retra walking in thanks to the focus put on the undertaker leaning against the wall. More than anything he wanted response, any move would suffice as an excuse to cut the man. Sure he could attack Tegi while he was down, even with the height of the lockers, but the threat seemed to keep the swordsman in place. It was strange that he was afraid even with the guards on his side. Come on I said I wouldn’t go for organs! I thought you’d be more fun then that! The intense concentration was interrupted when someone else ascended the lockers.

Initially it startled him, making the branch a bit eratic, but he relaxed after looking back and realizing whom it was. Ha, looks like his plan to go after them is out…. But that eliminates any reason to cut him, that kinda sucks… Tegi kept an eye on the undertaker anyways while he listened to what Retra had to say, resting his chin on folded arms. He turned his head slightly once addressed. “Hmm? Oh, I guess you missed most of that… he kinda threatened to hunt you guys down… “ he frowned. “Turns out he’s just as afraid as anyone else when it comes to chopping limbs though, guess I never lost touch with my scarier side.” Tegi debated sitting up, but doing that would probably cause the dull pain emanating from his back to sharpen. He wasn’t about to show that kind of weakness to people that could kill him. “You should take care of your leg, not like I’m going anywhere.” he joked.

He tilted his head at the man’s confusing actions as if it would somehow clarify what he was seeing. Was he more afraid of Retra or something? Was he really having a change of heart for that reason alone? Tegi sighed, looking a little disappointed until the undertaker below spoke up. “Huh? I thought you did! I mean you looked pretty pissed off before and I almost took a sword to the head… and you brought guards and stuff…” Tegi began to trail off, trying to figure out exactly what it was that he wanted. Something inside really wanted to fight more, but everything else made him hold back and stay indecisive. Not fighting in the theatre was the least he could do for Shawn helping him. The bigger factor was that he didn’t know if he could fight. Resting on the lockers might have helped, but his back was still throbbing. Moving around as usual wouldn’t fix that. "Are you saying that you don't want to?" Tegi began playing with the branch as he waited for an answer.

“I’m lucky? Most of my cuts are from jumping in front of blades, even at that nightjar got me way worse than you did.” He shrugged. Tegi knew moods all too well, so it was something he could relate to. However, poisons where a different story. Did all undertakers have access to poisons or something? The last one he ran into had something on her blades that smelt like almonds. “Actually, you’re lucky I was holding back, you would have had way more than a grinded up wrist and a few cuts!” He jeered. Weirded out by the way the undertaker’s expression, he tried to focus more on the blood he was trying to manipulate.
