"Takoda?" He murmured, looking down at the pretty Shifter who looked so suddenly as though he might burst into tears at anymore. To say that he was that much more worried was an understatement, "Takoda... it's going to be alright, no need for tears." He murmured, leaning over to nuzzle against his pretty, silver hair in a manner that he hoped would help to sooth him. The poor Healer seemed to be so out of sorts at the moment, something that made him want to go along with him on his journey of his all that much more. If he were really that worried then maybe he needed someone to go along with him. He didn't like the idea of letting him go on his own, not when he seemed to be so upset by the idea. There was a part of him, a horribly selfish part, that wanted to force him to stay here. To the snowy depths of Zena with what was causing him so much grief he thought to himself.
As the other spoke, talking about he just wanted for Jacinthus to hold him, that he'd missed him while he was away and worried for him, he gave him a smile, "Now that is something that I can happily do for you, Takoda." He murmured, pushing up to his feet and set to ushering him toward the ladder that would lead into their home. Holding him close, keeping him all to himself, it was all that Jacinthus had wanted the whole time that he was away on his own perilous journey. Their wants seemed to coincide well, making the hunter more then happy to oblige, "Come on, let's go to bed." He murmured, deciding that everything else could wait a while. What was he wanted the very most at the moment was right at hand after all, that being Takoda himself.

Takoda snuggled up against Jacithus quite happily, though his heart felt heavy as if he was only going to hurt Jacinthus when he left again. Which he probably was for good reason but he couldn't help but feel he was betraying his trust at the same time. When it was announced that they would sleep some there a moment of sheer relief. The shifter wasn't exactly sure how much reserved energy he had left after his own encounter in the forest.
"Al...alright. Just..don't let go okay?" He requested as they went to move towards the hammocks. It would be hard to sneak out of there sleeping together, but he would have to make it work somehow and he wasn't about to NOT sleep with the man he had missed so terribly much.
Soon the morning could rear its ugly head and he would have to be off again. He felt guilty taking personal time during his important duty, but if he was exhausted he wouldn't be much use to anyone..never mind breaking a curse.
When morning arrived he attempted to slip out of the hammock carefully although awkwardly. He had to slip away before his lover awoke, else he knew Jacinthus would never let him go off by himself.

Jacinthus was well trained, even the slightest sounds and movements waking him when they needed to, and Takoda's shifting did just that. His green eyes slid open a bit, watching as the Shifter set about trying to make his escape and he nearly sight at the sight. He debated on what it was that he should do... there was what he wanted to do, which was to keep him home, and what he knew he had to do, which was to let him go and continue about his duties as a Healer. He sighed then, hating that he had to let him go when it was the last thing he really wanted to do. Reaching out one strong arm he wrapped it around Takoda's midsection, dragging him backwards into his grasp, "No sneaking off, that's my job." He murmured, pressing a kiss to Takoda's back.
He didn't want him to leave but Jacin knew that both of them had their responsibilities, even if he didn't like this particular one, "I am loathe to let you go, not when we just got back together, but I will let you go." He murmured, then added quickly, "If you take too long though I will follow you and find you." He couldn't have anyone stealing his Takoda after all, not after he'd fought so hard and waited so long to finally win him over. He gave him another kiss, this time to the shoulder, "You have to promise to be careful, only then will I release you."

The poor shifter almost jumped out of his skin when he felt the arm wrap around him and a kiss pressed to his back. Cursing himself silently, wondering just how stupidly foolish he had been hoping that Jacinthus would not stir when he tried to make his escape. Half turning Takoda was going to apologize, feeling he owed the man that much for trying to sneak away. Instead he was told to promise he wouldn't take too long.
"I ..promise." He murmured though it was still hard for him to really beleive he was being honest. If he was lucky he would live. "I won't take too long. Just give me a couple days alright? I have to travel far." Takoda didn't want to steer the man in the wrong direction but he would rather Jacinthus think he went to Sauti than to the islands.

There was a moment in which Jacinthus remained completely silently, wanting to believe that Takoda was telling the truth, that his promise was one worth believing. He gave a slow nod of his head, "I see... I am going to hold you to that promise, Takoda." He said, hugging him closely, tightly, and nuzzled against his shoulder before he finally let him ago. He didn't want to let him go but he supposed that he couldn't force him to stay when he was wanting to go. This was something that Takoda had to do, he said it wouldn't take long, so he had to take his word on it. Lifting a hand he slid it slowly and lightly across Takoda's skin which was currently in its dark phase, "So long as you are careful, that is all I ask... well, that and you coming home in a timely fashion. I would hate to have to go looking for you and I am sure little Kei wouldn't like that either."
Pushing to his feet he said, "We should get you some supplies for your trip, make sure that you are ready for what it is that you are going to face, then I will walk you to the edge of the village. After that I need to see if Kei returned last night or if I need to track her down." He said, not wanting to leave either of them behind but he knew that he needed to find Kei, to make sure that she was alright.

The silence was almost worse than having the man lecture him about sneaking off on him. When he was embraced he thought he may break down and tell the man where he was going and that he couldn't promise him he would be back. Some how he was able to persevere and even when they broke from their embrace he nodded his head offering a small smile.
"I promise. I'll be as careful as I can." Takoda managed, after all he wouldn't need to lie about that. He WOULD be as careful as he could manage. He watched as Jacinthus pushed to his feet and he felt a little lonely suddenly but was slow to rise to his own feet. Supplies would be needed, though he had a large majority of them already gathered from earlier.
"I don't think I will need much...a water-skin...dried foods. I don't intend to take too long."

That Takoda assure him that he didn't mean to take long was a great weight off of Jacinthus's shoulders. He didn't really want to think about him being gone too long, wanted Takoda right there at his side, felt a lot more comfortable and at ease when he was. Giving him a smile he said, "I think that we should see about getting thing ready for you then." As much as the idea of parting ways with him hurt he knew that he had to let him go. He couldn't really keep him prisoner now, could he? While a tempting idea he doubted the rest of the village would be all that amused, not to mention the other Shifters, that shield wielding idiot in particular.
With that the Hunter set to moving around their home, gathering what Takoda needed into a pack for him, the dried meat that they had a good supply of, a couple of water skins, and various other things that should help him out on his way, only once they'd gotten together everything that they would need did Jacinthus catch hold of Takoda again, dragging him over for a long, deep kiss, "I will be waiting." He said in an affectionate tone of voice a smile on his lips. Best to see him off with a smile even if he didn't want to let him go he told himself. He had to act grown up at the moment, even if he wanted to be his normal selfish self and keep Takoda forever to himself.

Takoda watched Jacinthus go about their home, (which was still an odd concept to him still) and help to gather items for his journey. He felt so utterly quilty that he wasn't telling his lover the whole truth. That he was going into dangerous territory and that he was risking his very life going to the isles.
Still he couldn't help but give a small smile at the affection being given to him as well. When everything was prepared he suddenly didn't want to leave. After all he wasn't even sure he would even come back and to leave everything behind...
A kiss was given to him and all his thoughts and worries vanished for a moment. A smile graced his face as he kissed Jacinthus back passionately before breaking away and giving a wave.
"I'll be back before you know it."
